I've been refreshing my email multiple times every day hoping to see the message pop in. Does anyone have any idea when this will be available on Hero Lab? I know, I'm probably asking in the wrong place. It would be nice to have this in place before GenCon. Oh well, my watch continues...
Why is this? Why can't I just add a card to my account and delete the old one just like you can do on just about every other payment site around. Seriously?
For the title of Mechageddon!, you should always use an exclamation point.
And right now they are selling a megabundle with everything for $2000 dollars. I've bought pretty much every book that's been released for 2E, plus multiple copies for the Core Rulebook plus other accessories. I don't think the total that I have spent so far adds up or has come even close to that amount.
Considering that Paizo's footprint at GenCon2022 was much smaller this doesn't surprise me. I do not see this as a decision that a healthy company makes.

I just played this. It's a great concept with poor execution. Teams aren't given enough prep time. Even when you get successes you get useless information. If I could review it I would give it 3/5 stars. At least it's not as bad as Serpent's Ire.

So they fired their well regarded CS manager right before GenCon. I guess Paizo is lucky that they skipped out of the live event. This is bad, as in Blizzard bad. Paizo needs to put out something before this gets out of hand. I have a few subs myself and right now my finger is on the trigger.
I'm not going to pull punches. I'm not just unhappy with this, I am disgusted with it. After months of isolation, this was supposed to be the light at the end of the tunnel. At this rate it's "Rocks fall people die." I'm sick of the Zoom games and the VTTs. Sadly, most of the official games will be done on Roll20. It's a terrible clunky platform that you have to create custom macros to do mind numbingly stupid things like roll dice (whoever heard about that in a RPG right?). Or as of a few months ago couldn't get a grip on an easy way to import a character into the system using XML or HTML (or is HeroLab just wasting it's time with that one?) And lastly, thanks for letting us know. Now if we're gonna skip this year we're gonna have to wrestle with them to roll it over or get a refund. Who knows? Maybe I'll go this year and maybe find a different game.
I was hoping we could get some wild west style six-shooters for this. Flintlocks are just plain boring.
I'm wondering why this even happened. Don't get me wrong, I have nothing against Savage Worlds. I backed both of the Kickstarters for Savage Rifts. The reason for Savage Rifts was obvious to me. Palladium is great at coming up with content, settings, worlds, ideas. The problem is that regardless of what setting we're talking about, the rules system is a hot mess. Savage Rifts solved this problem by finally making sense out of the chaos of a hodge-podge rules system that needs a ton of house rules to even function. Pathfinder, regardless of edition just doesn't need this.

I know this isn't Paizo's fault, but someone needs to get some engineers from Hero Lab Online and Roll20 in the same room. The idea that you can't import a character in HTML format into Roll20 is a major obstacle to the use to the platform.
Oracles sound a little strange and weak near as I can tell. It's disappointing as the Life Oracle was one of my favorite healers in PF1. I hope reading the final go around the Life Oracle can still be a premier healer, but it sure doesn't look like it. I love Life Oracles so much I leveled two in PF1. In the current case though they just aren't worth it. They needed more spell slots like Clerics (in the case of heals) or just more slots period (like the sorcerer). When I make a healer for PF2 it's likely going to be a Angelic Sorcerer. Life Oracle is a sad waste of time.
This actually has me a little worried. The last time I remember Paizo offering this was during the later part of the lifetime of PF1. But PF2 has only been out for one year and now this bundle is pretty much all of their PF2 product line. Is this a sign that PF2 may not be doing as well as we hoped? I'm not asking this to disparage Paizo. With what is going on with Covid19 it's not exactly a good time for business in general.
While I like the idea of an online PaizoCon, I'm wondering about a couple of things: -What about non-gaming events like panels and Tim Schneider's aforementioned banquet stream? -There are multiple platforms for online play. For someone like me who has no experience with it can be a bit of a learning curve. Why so many?
The Oracle was probably my favorite class in PF1. Looking at the new class as presented, I just don't see the point. There are no weapon or armor skills beyond simple weapons unless you're a battle oracle. The revelations seem to be designed to allow greater impact on the way you play as opposed to the original, but take out any kind of choice. Spell Repertoire seems to be saying "Hey we didn't want to create another damn chart." My biggest problem are the spell slots. They are spontaneous casters that are given the same number of spells as prepared casters. Why play this class when you get much better performance out of a divine sorcerer without having to worry about revelations? In PF1 the Life Oracle could easily meet or even surpass a healing cleric. Now it's the other way around. Are Oracles using domains now?
I know this is gonna sound like I'm rambling on but here goes. While I agree that running in Campaign Mode is the most ideal way to run modules, I don't agree with the rest of it. One level of experience for three levels of content? I know this is the way AP's roll but modules are a different experience with different levels of commitment and expectations. Putting a 3-4 tier on a module marked as an introduction is confusing. The rules sheet also seems to be assuming that everyone starting a 3 part adventure that will all finish it. This looks like a solid 16 hours to finish (2 days) as opposed to running 3 scenarios for the same XP that would take 12. What happens if someone only makes one session? Nothing about this is shown in the rules sheet. This feels like it was thrown together at the last minute. This is after the adventure being out for three months. This should be sent back for revision. I am in the middle or running this right now. I'm dreading telling my friends that they are only going to get one instead of three for this. I spent a good bit of money getting maps printed for this because SURPRISE..the flip mat is only good for part three. I had planned to run this a second time. At this rate I won't waste my time with it.
I just have to ask, but is The Fall of Plaguestone going to be sanctioned for PFS play on release? If not, can we expect it soon?
Speaking of the weather, does anyone know of any good running spots near the hotel?

Recently, I had to cancel my credit card and had a new one issued. I entered the new information into the site. For some reason I cannot set it as my default payment method. The site keeps setting back to the old method. I've tried deleting the old entry but it keeps coming back. Can you please process my order and set the new card as my default payment method? Lastly, with my current subscriptions, am i set for 2nd edition for all three hardcovers on release? Thanks.

Funny that I preordered the Playtest books as well still no pdf but there are people in Sweden that already have theirs. I also know I'm not alone in this.
I selected Gen Con pick up for the Playtest, and just got an email listing a shipping and handling charge. Did I miss something? Can this still be changed?

Last year I preordered the Starfinder Core Rulebook which I picked up at GenCon. Admittedly, it's been sitting on the shelf most of the time since. About last week or so the binding finally broke. Is this still eligible for replacement?
Ok, I got my confirmation email on the 8th. My order seems to be in my Sidecart, which I have never seen before for a pending order. The subscriptions page is showing my order shipping out in pieces which contradicts what was in the confirmation email.
The current crop should still be around, just out of the picture now. There is one thing we can do and it's based on a contest that Paizo ran in coordination to start the Pathfinder Comics line. The idea was to submit an idea for a character to appear in the comic. There were a few people that were selected obviously, but this was never followed up. This is something that should be revisited. How about instead of getting the brief from one of the VC's of old,how about we get the brief from a character based on a former PC? This is a way to get players even more involved with the game while acting as a reminder of what came before.
If it is a separate item for the pdf and the print copy then disregard.

I'm on the fence about if I'm going to come this year. I live on the East Coast and it's becoming harder to justify flying out there for a con where I mainly hang around the hotel. This isn't Paizo's or the event's fault. I'm wondering about other things I can do while I'm out there. I'm not a big outdoors/nature person so hiking is out.What else is there to do out there outside of the con solo? If I do this again I may stay a few extra days. Any ideas?
