Recruiting one more time for Shards of the Titanswar.

Liberty's Edge

Too many players come and go.

I'm looking for a hero in the making...I'm looking for dedication.

The group's frontliner seems to be gone for good, so they need one. That's priority. I can take two more players, with the assumption that the oracle may yet return.

I prefer humans, but with the right backstory, will look at anything.

I'm using the grid system, and allowing for rerolls. Heroes are larger than life! This game will go mythic...

It's moving slower than I wanted, due to player posting habits. If I can get some players willing to move the story along, I'll happily do my part.

Feel free to bombard me with questions if you can be the sort of player I'm looking for.

ps: With only one magic weapon (2nd lvl group), it would be a priority if you can wield a greataxe.

Two more players including a frontliner, or two more players besides a frontliner?

But wait, there's more! Join now and you will get the services of a magic-obsessed Arcanist who will cheerfully support your front-line endeavors with a variety of helpful spells - there's nothing quite like watching an ogre's feet slip out from under them as they charge up a hill towards you! (Actual event in-game)

But seriously, it is fairly fun so far. ^^ I'm a current player, and I'd love to have more teammates.

Liberty's Edge

Two including, but if there are three interesting character proposals, I'll consider them...there's stuff coming up that will well and truly shut down new recruiting, so, not being born yesterday, and having experience with player attrition, I may even take more. I'd like a minimum of 6 characters all the way to 20/10.

IF you're looking for front-liners, I'd like to introduce you to Yggdrar the Crusher, an Elven Barbarian that grew up in the wilds of (REDACTED).

As well as Arileth Soltras, a Human Beast-Mistress, along with her trusted war-horse Kurgess.

what is the "grid system?"

What are your build rules?

Stats rolled with Grid on Invisible Castle

Is that what you require?

I have an idea for a scoundrel type of dwarven barbarian. Anything I should know about the setting or how to get introduced to the other characters?

Liberty's Edge

That's it - using 3 of 4 dice.

Feel free to bounce any ideas off me. I'll work with you.

Liberty's Edge

For reference, the original recruitment thread:

Shards of the Titanswar

The way I envision him is as a son of an expert-caste family who's gone native and chose the wrong side of a fight. He's sentenced to the gallows, but the rope snaps and he's exiled instead.

He's some kind of vagabond and con artist; an avatar of freedom of sorts.

Dice roll for Yggdrar the Crusher.

Dice roll for Arileth Soltras.

Paladin me thinks.

So do we start on level 2 as well? Starting wealth?

Can we get a bit of an up to date campaign synopsis? Any allies that the PCs have made? Organizations? How were you planning on integrating the new characters?

I am also greatly interested in playing as well. I have ideas on a front liner and a range support. I even have an idea for a bard. I'll roll stats for each and build their stories so you can chose which you prefer or need.

I ma just roll 1 set of stats and work with that for all three.

Not the best bard but still doable. Great front line fighter stats and stats for a Battle Scout

I'd be interested in either a Bloodrager or a Warpriest, preferably the latter. I'd be thinking of making it an Oni-Spawn Tiefling, if allowed.

How do you handle the rerolling, what are the criteria for doing so?

Here's Bad-Luck Baldek. The background is Golarion and would probably need to be modified, but it gives you an idea of what kind of character I have in mind.

Let me know if you have comments or questions.

Alright, I haven't made and alias but I figured I would throw up this back story for the battle scout and a little detail.

Backstory:

Devarona had always wanted to be a paladin. Ever since she was a wee little thing clinging to her father’s side as he taught her about battlefield tactics and training. Her father was a mercenary knight. Didn’t belong to a Lord, or a church, but was of good heart and always joined good causes even if they didn’t pay well.

Her father told her great stories of the great Paladins. Shining beacons of hope when the darkness came. But he also taught that they could fall and being a paladin was not for those who did not know their heart. One must understand their own darkness to shine like a radiant beacon in the darkness.

Every morning like clockwork she would wake up before sunrise and pray until it was over the horizon. She had set her sights on being a Paladin. She trained with her father and his mercenaries as they traveled. Learned what she could of the gods and their tenants. Also learned that evil would not hesitate to kill, nor would an enemy.

It took her time to take in the lessons of knowing when to hold one’s blow or follow through. Mercy, while a good trait, didn’t always end well. When she finally came of age to apprentice to the church she went there with her father and he led her inside. The next few hours she waited to talk with the local leader of the paladins. When they finally had an audience the meeting was short and brief. To much so in her mind. But the end result was devastating.

“You are not worthy of being a Paladin. The gods have not seen fit to mark you for it.”

She was crushed. Devastated, destroyed. Had she not prayed enough, was she not good enough. Devarona was mute on their walk out and her father could see that she was depressed. As they walked through town their was a commotion and they saw a young girl high up sobbing. From the mutterings from the crowd they gathered that she was from a bad family and that they thought the girl had just had to much abuse. She was probably going to jump.

Devarona looked around and saw no one even trying to help the girl and completely forgetting her own sadness moved and started to climb. Eventually the girl noticed her and moved closer to the edge.

“No, no, don’t do that. I am here to help.” She said and would crouch down trying to seem harmless.

“Help, no you won’t help. You will just send me back to that man….that horrible despicable man that they call my father.” The girl sobbed.

“No I won’t. I was going to take you to my father so he could protect you. You see that large man down there with the beads and feathers in his hair.” The girl turned her attention to the crowd and nodded.

“He is a great knight and protects the weak and those being hurt. He will protect you.”

The girl sniffed and shook her head as if she didn’t want to believe it.

“How about this. I promise to protect you. I will be you knight.”

She stared at her. “A lady knight?”

Devarona smiled and nodded. “Uh uh, my papa is teaching me to be a proper knight. But I can’t protect you if you jump. So come to me and I will rescue you.” She would reach out holding her hand out to the girl. The girl hiccuped and nodded and slowly and carefully turned. Then she slipped and started to fall.

Without thinking Devarona ran and caught her shifting them so she was the one that took the brunt of the fall. When they hit the ground Devarona hit head first knocking her silly the rest of her body suddenly in pain. The girl sat up gasping as she looked down at Devarona looking mostly unscathed.

“Oh my god, you are hurt. You shouldn’t have done that, you should have let me die.” She started to wail and cry. Before Devarona blacked out she reached up as the girl looked at her and plucked a white feather from the air that was gently falling.

“I promised to protect you didn’t I?”[/b] She said and handed her the white feather. “See, an angel was watching over you.” She said before her hand dropped and she blacked out.

Devarona came to with her father on one side and the girl on the other. Her father looked stoic but his eyes were bloodshot. The girl was passed out asleep the white feather in her hand. Her head throbbed and was in pain.

Her father noticed her awake and leaned forward. “Are you alright Dev. We didn’t think you were going to make it. It was a good thing that girl had a hold of you. Seems she had a gift. She has magic in the blood.” His voice was whispered so as to not wake the girl. “She was able to stop the bleeding in time to save your life. The healers….they said you would make it.” It was clear he wasn’t saying everything but she hurt to much to care.

The next couple of weeks were painful for her as she struggled to move and such and found herself unable to do so. She couldn’t think as clearly as she use to and remembering things wasn’t as easy. It seemed her brain had suffered in the fall and was a 'little jiggled’, to quote one of her father’s mercenaries. At the end of the couple of weeks they had an unusual visitor.

A traveling Priest had heard about the incident and had come by to aid them. Within days she was up and about but her thoughts still foggy. The priest called it the sacrifice for saving someone’s life. Death wasn’t averted without cost after all. He had seen the talent in the girl and asked if she would like to become his apprentice.

It took some urging from Devarona but she agreed. Before leaving she gave her the white feather with a bead on the end to help her braid it into her hair.

“To remember me by. I will always remember you. You are my guardian angel.” She kissed her cheek. “My name is Anya by the way. May our paths cross again.”

The next couple of years were training with her father. He took the passion and conviction she had for being a paladin and sculpted it into training her how to help others and fight with a group. With her wounds healed and mended she developed quickly focusing on the physical aspects since it hurt to think to hard sometimes.

Soon she was ready to be a Battle Scout.

They had traveled to the village for the festival and her father to look for work. While she may not be a Paladin, she had the heart of a knight. She never gave up praying every morning and to this day rises with the sun to offer her morning prayers.

Okay right now I have her stated out

18 Str
18 Dex
18 Con
10 Int (2 from human bonus)
14 Wis
11 Cha

Ranger Battle Scout will be class. It works well for groups and allows me great flexibility. For anything we may need. Ill only get two favored enemies but I can provide bonuses to everyone else which i think is worth it.

But basically from the backstory she is someone who wanted to be a paladin and didn't have the "natural" charisma they look for for such a leader so she became a battle scout instead.

Ill work on the other two characters if you wish.

Liberty's Edge

Rerolling is simple - if you aren't happy with your results, reroll. I may not choose a character that's too weak, or one that's too strong. Feel free to look at current party members as a guideline. I want people to love their characters, and the group to see them more or less as equals.

Yes, start as 2nd...and I'm story levelling.

Liberty's Edge

Oh...I'm giving folks a bonus...a free story feat. I've been choosing them as I see appropriate, but feel free to make suggestions.

Apologies, forgot to post character sheet.

Here be Arileth Soltras!

Pathfinder Pathfinder Accessories Subscriber; Pathfinder Roleplaying Game Superscriber

Well I should work on another since My Battle scout I think could qualify for to strong.

Roll 1:
Str or Int: 4d6 ⇒ (2, 1, 6, 3) = 12 11
Str or Wis: 4d6 ⇒ (3, 3, 5, 2) = 13 11
Str or Cha: 4d6 ⇒ (2, 6, 3, 4) = 15 13

Dex or Int: 4d6 ⇒ (4, 2, 5, 3) = 14 12
Dex or Wis: 4d6 ⇒ (5, 5, 2, 6) = 18 16
Dex or Cha: 4d6 ⇒ (6, 2, 5, 2) = 15 13

Con or Int: 4d6 ⇒ (4, 5, 5, 6) = 20 16
Con or Wis: 4d6 ⇒ (3, 6, 2, 2) = 13 11
Con or Cha: 4d6 ⇒ (6, 2, 5, 1) = 14 13

Reroll as that's useless for either character idea

Roll 2:
Str or Int: 4d6 ⇒ (2, 4, 1, 3) = 10 9
Str or Wis: 4d6 ⇒ (4, 2, 6, 2) = 14 12
Str or Cha: 4d6 ⇒ (3, 2, 4, 1) = 10 9

Dex or Int: 4d6 ⇒ (5, 2, 1, 1) = 9 8
Dex or Wis: 4d6 ⇒ (5, 5, 5, 4) = 19 15
Dex or Cha: 4d6 ⇒ (6, 5, 2, 4) = 17 15

Con or Int: 4d6 ⇒ (1, 1, 4, 5) = 11 10
Con or Wis: 4d6 ⇒ (6, 4, 5, 5) = 20 16
Con or Cha: 4d6 ⇒ (1, 4, 2, 2) = 9 12

And that's actually worse

Roll 3:
Str or Int: 4d6 ⇒ (1, 3, 2, 4) = 10 11
Str or Wis: 4d6 ⇒ (3, 3, 1, 1) = 8
Str or Cha: 4d6 ⇒ (3, 1, 4, 3) = 11

Dex or Int: 4d6 ⇒ (3, 2, 6, 2) = 13
Dex or Wis: 4d6 ⇒ (3, 1, 5, 1) = 10
Dex or Cha: 4d6 ⇒ (2, 1, 5, 5) = 13

Con or Int: 4d6 ⇒ (4, 2, 4, 1) = 11
Con or Wis: 4d6 ⇒ (4, 3, 1, 2) = 10
Con or Cha: 4d6 ⇒ (6, 2, 6, 6) = 20

What's with the horrible strength rolls?

Roll 4:
Str or Int: 4d6 ⇒ (2, 4, 6, 4) = 16 14
Str or Wis: 4d6 ⇒ (2, 5, 6, 4) = 17 15
Str or Cha: 4d6 ⇒ (1, 3, 1, 2) = 7 6

Dex or Int: 4d6 ⇒ (5, 1, 2, 1) = 9 8
Dex or Wis: 4d6 ⇒ (3, 5, 2, 6) = 16 14
Dex or Cha: 4d6 ⇒ (5, 3, 5, 4) = 17 14

Con or Int: 4d6 ⇒ (6, 5, 5, 6) = 22 17
Con or Wis: 4d6 ⇒ (3, 2, 3, 3) = 11 9
Con or Cha: 4d6 ⇒ (1, 6, 4, 5) = 16 15

Now that's actually workable and quite ok.

Str: 15
Dex: 14
Con: 17
Int: 14
Wis: 14
Cha: 15

Int or Str: 4d6 ⇒ (2, 1, 2, 6) = 1110
Int or Dex: 4d6 ⇒ (2, 1, 1, 6) = 109
Int or Con: 4d6 ⇒ (5, 2, 6, 4) = 1715
Wis or Str: 4d6 ⇒ (6, 4, 3, 5) = 1815
Wis or Dex: 4d6 ⇒ (1, 6, 3, 2) = 1211
Wis or con: 4d6 ⇒ (2, 5, 1, 6) = 1413
Cha or Str: 4d6 ⇒ (3, 6, 3, 6) = 1815
Cha or Dex: 4d6 ⇒ (4, 2, 5, 2) = 1311
Cha or Con: 4d6 ⇒ (5, 3, 3, 6) = 1714

solid rolls.

I am thinking of a Human (or at least supposedly human)that took up a cursed mask that channels the power of a legendary warrior that (perhaps foolishly) vowed to always guard the land\against the big bad evil. I picture him as this creepy figure in massive armor that the mask melds into.

Maybe a Steelblood archetype Blood Rager. Not sure on blood line. I like the idea of the undead blood line, though if the big bad is a group of wizards, the arcane could work as well.

A forgepriest archtype Warpriest could get the same effect. Just depends on what magical powers the group would be helped by the most.

I will try and put them together tonight with a more refined backstory.

Pathfinder Pathfinder Accessories Subscriber; Pathfinder Roleplaying Game Superscriber

Well since my Ranger Battle Scout fits the too strong category let me look at doing others.

Roll 1:

Str or Int: 4d6 ⇒ (4, 1, 6, 6) = 17
Str or Wis: 4d6 ⇒ (3, 2, 4, 1) = 10
Str or Cha: 4d6 ⇒ (2, 2, 3, 6) = 13
Dex or Int: 4d6 ⇒ (1, 4, 6, 6) = 17
Dex or Wis: 4d6 ⇒ (5, 2, 6, 2) = 15
Dex or Cha: 4d6 ⇒ (1, 1, 1, 6) = 9
Con or Int: 4d6 ⇒ (1, 1, 6, 1) = 9
Con or Wis: 4d6 ⇒ (1, 4, 6, 6) = 17
Con or Cha: 4d6 ⇒ (1, 4, 6, 6) = 17

Ends up with

16 Str
16 Dex
16 Con
8 Int
13 Wis
11 Cha

Would this be more acceptable than her previous stats? Since those were 18 in the physical?

Attempt 1:

Str or Int: 4d6 ⇒ (3, 2, 3, 2) = 108
Str or Wis: 4d6 ⇒ (6, 5, 4, 4) = 1915
Str or Cha: 4d6 ⇒ (5, 5, 5, 6) = 2116

Dex or Int: 4d6 ⇒ (5, 6, 1, 1) = 1312
Dex or Wis: 4d6 ⇒ (5, 4, 6, 6) = 2117
Dex or Cha: 4d6 ⇒ (3, 2, 3, 1) = 98

Con or Int: 4d6 ⇒ (2, 2, 5, 3) = 1210
Con or Wis: 4d6 ⇒ (2, 1, 3, 3) = 98
Con or Cha: 4d6 ⇒ (4, 6, 1, 3) = 1413

Just to double check, the following characters are still going, right?
Varuk
Reiko
Sakuro
Antonio
Aya

option D1:

Str 15
Dex 12
Con 13
Int 10
Wis 17
Cha 16

or

option D2:

Str 16
Dex 17
Con 13
Int 12
Wis 15
Cha 8

Are either or both of these too strong, before I get started on statting and trying to come up with a character? Sizing it up against the current 5, they both seem approximately on par depending on what I build :)

Leaning towards Druid.
Alternately for Paladin (if there's no conflict in the group. The worst I see is chaotic neutral):

Option P:

Str 15
Dex 17
Con 13
Int 12
Wis 8
Cha 16

Stats:

Str or Int: 4d6 ⇒ (5, 2, 4, 3) = 14
Str or Wis: 4d6 ⇒ (5, 3, 3, 6) = 17
Str or Cha: 4d6 ⇒ (4, 5, 2, 1) = 12

Dex or Int: 4d6 ⇒ (3, 4, 3, 4) = 14
Dex or Wis: 4d6 ⇒ (3, 6, 3, 1) = 13
Dex or Cha: 4d6 ⇒ (1, 2, 5, 5) = 13

Con or Int: 4d6 ⇒ (3, 4, 5, 2) = 14
Con or Wis: 4d6 ⇒ (6, 3, 4, 6) = 19
Con or Cha: 4d6 ⇒ (1, 6, 5, 1) = 13

RPG Superstar 2012 Top 32

edit: after completely bombing my rolls with 3 full attempts that all resulted in totally unusable stats, i withdraw my interest. i hope the game goes well for whoever plays.

You know, I completely forgot about the story feat, and haven't even put it on my sheet. Whoops. It's forgotten past, right?

And as Eldon has said, we really need some dedicated players who can keep up. So far this is an awesome adventure. I'm having a blast.

Just guessing at starting equipment.

Kuri was born to a whore and raised in the gutters. His father must have been a brute because even as a child he was a head taller than the other gutter rats. He would have been hanged or in prison before twenty if fate had not intervened.

Well this place is a bust. There isn't s*~% to scavenge here anymore. This was supposed to be a temple or fighting school or something at some point. Guess others have been stripped it a dozen times over.

With that, the wretched scavenger boy gave the building a final pass. He was about to leave when he kicked over an old tile and a gleam of metal caught his eye. A old steal battle mask, gleamed up at him. It had nothing but a pair of eye slits. Picking it up, he was pleased to see that it wasn't rusted out. No rust at all in fact. Weird. Lifting it up to the sunlight revealed subtle runes covering the mask.

Heh, its in good shape, might be magic even. I've heard of fancy stuff like that in stories. Selling this could keep me in booze for weeks. Huh, something written on the inside too. Wonder what it says?

With that the ruffian was compelled to place the mask on his face. Screaming for a moment in pain, the mask burned as it sealed itself to his skin. With that the Norne was reborn.

Str or Int: 4d6 ⇒ (6, 6, 3, 4) = 19 16
Str or Wis: 4d6 ⇒ (4, 5, 6, 1) = 16 15
Str or Cha: 4d6 ⇒ (6, 4, 2, 4) = 16 14

Dex or Int: 4d6 ⇒ (3, 1, 2, 2) = 8 7
Dex or Wis: 4d6 ⇒ (3, 5, 4, 2) = 14 12
Dex or Cha: 4d6 ⇒ (2, 5, 3, 2) = 12 12

Con or Int: 4d6 ⇒ (3, 5, 4, 6) = 18 15
Con or Wis: 4d6 ⇒ (2, 1, 3, 2) = 8 7
Con or Cha: 4d6 ⇒ (6, 4, 6, 5) = 21 17

I will use this for the Bard idea.

Str 14
Dex 12
Con 15
Int 16
Wis 15
Cha 17

Liberty's Edge

Wow - big turnout.

I'll have to look everything over, today - still willing to take 1-3 more - but I want to admit that I've definitely decided on one...he was just too perfect.

Congratulations, Dreaming Warforged, Bad Luck Baldek seriously struck a chord with me!

When you get a chance, ask me about Lucky Louie's Tilted Mermaid Bar and Grill! ;)

Oh, and yes, Steven, that's what inspired the whole story feat thing.

Yes, Hotaru, that's the present list. Jun hopes to return, and is very welcome, but I don't know how that's going to end up.

Jazzai, those stats are certainly not too high. If they're good for you, they're fine...I don't think anybody actually has a negative bonus on any stat, so far. The bard stats are pretty sweet.

Just to be clear, level two characters with level two gold.

Devarona

She is done with the first set of rolled stats but I can move her down to the second. If Bad Luck Baldek is the meleeist I can build her ranged with Melee support. Her Battle Scout doesn't kick in until 5th level but I think she would be a lot of fun to play. I didn't do feats for that reason yet.

The Bard is next and yeah those are some sweet stats. Should be fun to build and play.

I had would have had at least 1 stat with a negative modifier in every set i rolled... that's part of the reason i stopped trying to make a guy.

one last try:

4d6 ⇒ (4, 2, 5, 1) = 12; 4d6 ⇒ (3, 5, 2, 6) = 16; 4d6 ⇒ (6, 6, 6, 4) = 22;
4d6 ⇒ (1, 5, 2, 5) = 13; 4d6 ⇒ (6, 4, 2, 3) = 15; 4d6 ⇒ (4, 3, 5, 6) = 18;
4d6 ⇒ (5, 1, 4, 3) = 13; 4d6 ⇒ (6, 2, 2, 3) = 13; 4d6 ⇒ (1, 5, 1, 5) = 12;

hmm... that is by far the best set i've rolled (also, attempt #7 after a previously deleted post)... they don't work at all for the character i had in mind, but i might try to think of a guy i'd enjoy with them...

maybe a scarred witch doctor with str 12; dex 13; con 18; int 14; wis 15; cha 12
or, maybe a wizard or magus with str 12; dex 14; con 15; int 18; wis 13; cha 12
(all before racials)

Liberty's Edge

Incidentally, I don't think a paladin would be particularly problematic in this group, and would excel in the AP.

A druid would be great, too (as would most any class except for gunslinger and associated , and summoners).

Just an fyi - Eldon Guyre, my nom-de-plume...was a paladin. He even slew a demon lord, after a long, passionate career...ages ago. I have no problems with paladins.

RPG Superstar 2012 Top 32

i was thinking about doing a paladin but i can't get the stats for it...

shamless 8th attempt:

4d6 ⇒ (2, 3, 6, 6) = 17; 4d6 ⇒ (2, 1, 1, 2) = 6; 4d6 ⇒ (4, 4, 6, 4) = 18;
4d6 ⇒ (4, 3, 6, 4) = 17; 4d6 ⇒ (1, 1, 6, 6) = 14; 4d6 ⇒ (5, 4, 5, 3) = 17;
4d6 ⇒ (4, 6, 4, 3) = 17; 4d6 ⇒ (5, 3, 1, 6) = 15; 4d6 ⇒ (1, 5, 2, 3) = 11;

aaaaand... nothing over a 14. again.

If Gm is okay I can roll for you.

Liberty's Edge

'Designated roller'? I have no problems with it. ;)

RPG Superstar 2012 Top 32

lol, i love it... let the designated rolling begin!

Roll For Possible Paladin (Nate) :

Str or Int: 4d6 ⇒ (4, 6, 2, 3) = 15 13
Str or Wis: 4d6 ⇒ (3, 4, 3, 2) = 12 10
Str or Cha: 4d6 ⇒ (5, 2, 2, 3) = 12 10

Dex or Int: 4d6 ⇒ (4, 6, 2, 5) = 17 15
Dex or Wis: 4d6 ⇒ (5, 6, 1, 6) = 18 17
Dex or Cha: 4d6 ⇒ (1, 6, 6, 4) = 17 16

Con or Int: 4d6 ⇒ (3, 3, 6, 5) = 17 14
Con or Wis: 4d6 ⇒ (1, 6, 6, 1) = 14 13
Con or Cha: 4d6 ⇒ (2, 2, 2, 5) = 11 9

Pathfinder Pathfinder Accessories Subscriber; Pathfinder Roleplaying Game Superscriber

You could actually be a Ranged Paladin with those.

Liberty's Edge

Yup.

That always struck me as a character I'd like to play, someday.

Pathfinder Pathfinder Accessories Subscriber; Pathfinder Roleplaying Game Superscriber

Me too, I just couldn't get around the whole Lawful thing... Not that I couldn't play it it was just...not preferred.

Liberty's Edge

Right now I have a character who is a monk...and a witchwolf. He's chaotic by nature, but lawful by training...

RPG Superstar 2012 Top 32

thanks- those were way better than my rolls.

i'm not sure that i'm really into a ranged pally, but i'll think about it... maybe i could figure out something interesting with a mysterious stranger dip... or, for that matter, maybe i could figure out a melee dex build with a swashbuckler dip...

#9 (for S's & G's):

4d6 ⇒ (2, 6, 3, 4) = 15; 4d6 ⇒ (3, 6, 3, 4) = 16; 4d6 ⇒ (3, 5, 3, 6) = 17;
4d6 ⇒ (2, 1, 3, 1) = 7; 4d6 ⇒ (4, 6, 3, 1) = 14; 4d6 ⇒ (2, 3, 4, 5) = 14;
4d6 ⇒ (1, 5, 6, 2) = 14; 4d6 ⇒ (5, 6, 3, 4) = 18; 4d6 ⇒ (1, 1, 2, 2) = 6;

lol- its stopped being frustrating and started being funny... highest in that block is 14, lowest is a 5

Liberty's Edge

No gunslingers...no guns...swashbuckling is fine. (Antonio is the rogue archetype.)

Liberty's Edge

Btw...any ideas you guys give me may well show up in the campaign.

More specifically, it's pretty wide open, within a framework. What things have you always wanted to do in a frpg, but not had the chance?

Fighting an ancient dragon? Exploring an incredibly bizarre Far Realms style environment? Underwater battles against cyclopean horrors? Feel free to give specifics, and get as crazy as you like.

Thanks GM! I'm looking forward to joining your game!

RPG Superstar 2012 Top 32

i'm not really finding a swashbuckler/pally build that i really like...

one more stab at it:

4d6 ⇒ (2, 1, 3, 2) = 8; 4d6 ⇒ (1, 3, 1, 1) = 6; 4d6 ⇒ (3, 1, 2, 6) = 12
4d6 ⇒ (2, 3, 1, 2) = 8; 4d6 ⇒ (2, 6, 5, 5) = 18; 4d6 ⇒ (1, 1, 5, 1) = 8
4d6 ⇒ (4, 4, 3, 2) = 13; 4d6 ⇒ (2, 5, 1, 3) = 11; 4d6 ⇒ (4, 4, 5, 1) = 14

wow, that might be a new low... three 7s and a 5, lol

can't end on that:

4d6 ⇒ (2, 4, 4, 3) = 13; 4d6 ⇒ (5, 4, 1, 4) = 14; 4d6 ⇒ (5, 1, 5, 1) = 12;
4d6 ⇒ (4, 2, 1, 3) = 10; 4d6 ⇒ (5, 1, 1, 6) = 13; 4d6 ⇒ (2, 3, 4, 4) = 13;
4d6 ⇒ (3, 6, 2, 6) = 17; 4d6 ⇒ (4, 6, 6, 1) = 17; 4d6 ⇒ (2, 6, 5, 3) = 16;

hmmm... that's dangerously close to useable... how on earth did that happen?!?
Str 15; Dex 13; Con 14; Int 11; Wis 12; Cha 16

i'm exhausted right now (and kind of burnt out from looking at swashbuckler/pally ideas, and working on another character for a different thing), but i'll probably post a build idea for this soon.
