Really diggin' this guy. I mean, not for any real power reason, but just because I've got an Android Arcanist in the works that's going to be taking the Nanite Bloodline with that.
This guy seems like a good way to introduce my fiance, who plays a lot of healers in MMOs, into the arcane casting classes.

Mine would be the Empiricist Investigator. Poison often rarely shows up and when it does, half the time it's not that threatening and swift alchemy is just ok. For that, you get a load of skills (a lot of which are used often) that now run off of INT instead of their original stat.
Mix that with the clever wordplay and you can use all of Diplomacy (instead of just for info gathering) or bluff or intimidate with intelligence too. Heck. I'm thinking of a straight INT build now because of this one archetype.

Student of Philosophy gives you diplomacy for persuasion and bluff for telling lies in one single trait. So unless you really need int to feint it's a slick option.

Sadly no way to get int to hit or damage. Though a dex/int build isn't gonna be too bad anyways.

Because in reality, in a fight, it doesn't matter how smart you are. If the other guy is faster AND stronger, you're gettin' that butt whooped. You could have knowledge of every martial art in the book, but if you can't swing fast enough to use it to block those punches, or the other guy swings so dang hard that it breaks through your blocks, it doesn't matter how many books on kung fu you read. Int to attack/damage just doesn't make sense.

I really like the Spiritualist Investigator though it makes horrible trades. Legend Lore a ton of times per day with a one min as opposed to days or WEEKS cast time as well as rolling twice for saves makes me so happy... but I miss extracts.
Bounty Hunter Slayer is meh except for his Dirty Trick ability... a free Dirty Trick attempt instead of watered down sneak attack? And full BAB for ease of access for Greater and then Dirty Trick Master at 11th? Oh my god yes.
Eldritch Scion Magus: Yay spontaneous casting archetype finally! Yay access to a Bloodrager bloodline! Meh some restrictions on Spell Combat until 8th level...

I totally forgot about that trait and you are correct. That is even better. It is true about the INT to hit and damage sadly. Like you said, INT and DEX focused works fine too.

Int to attack/damage just doesn't make sense.
Whether or not something 'makes sense' is just a matter of how you try to justify it.
The idea of a character who uses a sharp wit and the ability to process information quickly to look for vulnerabilities' in an opponent's fighting style and strike at those gaps seems reasonably enough for me to work in a setting like Pathfinder.
Hell, I think the American Sherlock Holmes from a couple years ago did exactly that a few times in his films.

I have to say the Inspired Blade Swashbuckler, both as a single class and as a snazzy one-level dip. Best step-up to Fencing Grace as a feat, ever.

You're confusing theoretical knowledge with practical knowledge. Think about every pro boxer/MMA fighter out there who knows when to go for the face, when to take hits and when to hop back. Think about Mohammad Ali and his famous rope-a-dope stamina gambit against George Foreman in '74. Think about the street fighter who knows the old trick of dropping a handful of jingling coins, distracting a human opponent enough to land a sucker punch. There are plenty of ways to fight smart.
Mechanically, a 13th-level Kensai adds their Int mod as damage against flat-footed opponents. Kirin Strike adds twice the Int mod as damage on a hit against identified creatures with a swift action. I can see several interesting ways to mess with this using True Strike, Butterfly's Sting and a light pick.

All of those examples, while citing intelligence, REQUIRE either strength or speed or both. Every one of those people is in amazing physical capability. You simply cannot use intelligence alone to fight. You need the physical capability to pull off your thoughts. It's like billiards; I know enough geometry to easily master that sport, but I cannot make the ball do what I want with the pole, because I do not have the physical capability. A character with dumped strength and dex should NOT be able to fight well, period, no matter how many feats you take and no matter how high your intelligence is. To me, the BAB system is reflection of that kind of knowledge and training.
