Constantly Expanding the Alpha
We are going to continue to issue Alpha invitations to existing Alpha account holders so that we can grow the size of the player base regularly. If you're in the Alpha and you notice on goblinworks.com that you have outstanding Alpha invitations to distribute we highly encourage you to do so. The faster we ramp up the server population the better our testing of these features will be.
So, I have 2 outstanding Alpha invitations to distribute. PM with e-mail (1st two get em)

I also got into Alpha on the back of Arumvorax's generosity. Three cheers for him!
When I get invites, I need to attend to my company (they know where I live!) and key settlement members first, but I imagine I'll eventually have some to share here. Pay it forward!
My fellow company members (companions?) don't know where I live, but I'll probably follow a similar pattern.

So basically if someone tells you they have an invitation for you they need a PM advising them of an email address you will check, so they can enter it into the invitation machine and the invitation will arrive and you will be able to actually use it.
There are a couple of folks I very much would like to invite but they have their accounts set to disallow PMs, and thus I cannot ask them.
I suppose I'll muddle through somehow.

I'm pretty sure the exact email doesn't matter. You don't even have to have a GW account before-hand. You can create one at the link. Since it just sends you to a page asking you to log in or create an account, the email used to receive the link seems irrelevant. The link could just be PMed to someone if it wasn't for how the system generates it. The system just uses an email to spit out the code too. It could be anyone and then that link given to anyone else. The code is in the link and doesn't appear linked to an email address.

From Bonny on the alpha forums:
"1) Yes, you can send it to anyone. Its a redeem code, so even if you do not have a goblinworks.com account, you will be directed to create one."
Since the alpha access is a temporary thing, the absolute worst case scenario is that you'd have to create another account to use for the duration of alpha, then switch to your preferred one after the wipe for EE with no repercussions other than having an extra GW account. If you are afraid, you could make sure you are logged out of GW before activating the link.
