Please join me in congratulating Todd Morgan, Bob Jonquet, and Del Collins as the newest recipients of the PFS Campaign Service Award.
Todd has served as the Iowa Venture-Captain, then transitioned to the Venture-Captain of Omaha, NE, and has served since September 2011. His efforts have fostered growth and community cohesion in both regions.
Bob has served as the Chicago Venture-Captain, then transitioned to the Venture-Captain of Central and Southern Illinois and has served since October 2011. His efforts have fostered growth and community cohesion across the entire state of Illinois.
Both Todd and Bob worked throughout the past 11 months between last year's Gen Con and this year's, to help Jon Cary (a campaign service award recipient himself) and I formulate plans to make all aspects of PFS at Gen Con run more smoothly. They willingly gave up all of their 2014 Gen Con to make sure that more than 2,000 PFS fans had the best experience possible over the four days of the show. They served as my right hand men and helped me keep my sanity (and get a decent amount of sleep).
Del has served as the South Carolina Venture-Captain since October 2011. He is running his 499th reported PFS session at the Gen Con Special tonight. Through his affiliation with SCARAB, he has coordinated hundreds of conventions and game days throughout the Carolina's, southern Georgia, northern Florida, and Tennessee. He has also done some amazing work for various charities utilizing PFS.
All three have spent thousands of hours volunteering, and thousands of dollars out of their own pocket to make PFS amazing in their respective regions. All three are five star GMs.
All three have my highest respect and most sincere thank you for all of their volunteer work. Without them, PFS would not be where it is today. They exemplify the values of what organized play and community building is all about.
Congratulations Todd, Bob, and Del. You are now PFS numbers 720, 721, and 722 respectively, and one of the pillars that Society is built upon!

Huzzah indeed!
I remember meeting Todd as a GM this year at PaizoCon. The reason was because he misspelled my legal last name on the roster. Once I introduced myself, he never misspelled it again. (Partially due to the fact that he then on proceeded to rename me as Lady Ophelia)
I have not personally met Bob, but it has always been a pleasure to chat with him on the fourms and read his personal input. The same can also be said concerning Master Collins, despite the fact that we have not always agreed on certain topics. But he was still respectful and polite in all discourse.
Cheers to all three coin recipients! They are well deserved!

(Old joke) Todd can we count this as you making a list? ;)
Congrats all!
I don't know Del that well but I have been getting advice from Todd and Bob for years, sometimes even good advice! ;)

As Del's VL, I have learned an infinite amount from him on GMing and helping to prepare for conventions and game store events. I have seen first hand the awesome reactions when Del shows up to a convention/event and I want to congratulate Del on this extremely well deserved recognition! Way to go!
Of course my congrats go out to Bob and Todd as well! I have seen your advice all across the forums here and I want to say thanks!

My official Hollywood-style acceptance speech:
First, I have to thank my beautiful wife and wonderful kids, who have still never been DNA tested, (*laugh track*) for all their support. I am further beholden to Mike Brock and Steve Miller for being cool and Matt Polkowsky for being a tool; love you Matt; (*laugh track*), for if not for the three of them and a singularly perfect storm I would have never become a Venture Captain with Paizo. I also have to give a humongous thanks to SCARAB and the SCARAB Swarm and to the many, many game masters and volunteers who have helped with convention and retailer events, all of your hard work makes this job so much fun and you all make me look like I know what I am doing and I am incredibly and humbly thankful for all the hours you have put into this hobby – you’re simply awesome! In the same vein I also have to say that I am very grateful for all the players who have attended those same events and for all their kind words of praise and support. Last, but most assuredly not least, I have to give a huge shout out to Paizo who has created this fantastic game that so many of us love to play and all their hard work and support for this campaign.
One last point I want to make is about those other past and to any future winners of this award. I just want to say that I look up to you all for inspiration and guidance and am honored to work with all of you to promote this great hobby – thanks for all that you do.
