I like Varisia. I would not mind it being there but I would not mind it being in a lot of places. I even want another wilderness Mwangi and another Kingdom maker.

I could definitely use more Varisia. The more fleshed out it gets the better, in my view.

Agreed. As much as I'm looking forward to Iron Gods, the more Varisia the better.

Right there with ya. I love Varisia. It's probably my favorite place in Golarion, and there's plenty they could do there. Keep bringing those Varisian APs as far as I'm concerned. So far, they've not gone wrong there.

Turns out, I love Varisia too. And being Creative Director and the lead on the APs means that folks will certainly see more of it some day. I'm certainly aware that not everyone wants more, but it does make me happy to see that lots of folks like it too! :)

i love Varisia, reminds me of home, the Pacific northwest:)

Well what I said was a bit of an exaggeration; I wouldn't mind seeing another AP in it. It's just, there's so many other interesting places like Nex or Galt that, at least for me, would be better than tried and true Varisia. That and I was a little disappointed that Jade Regent did not go to Tian Xia until the last three books, but I suppose I can see why you guys did that (Ameiko being a liked NPC, invoking the "grand journey" feeling, letting players who aren't familiar with Tian Xia be eased into it better).

I think it's been long enough that I could be down for another adventure path in Varisia. I know I was sick of it during Shattered Star. But we'll have had five APs (after Giantslayer) where we haven't been in Varisian.

Still would rather have something in Garund, Casmaraon, or Arcadia.

we still haven't learned what Pazuzu has planned for the Lost Coast and varisia;) just saying

I am Ok with Varisia waiting til the tenth anniversary of RotRL. In the meantime let's see Arcadia, some more Tian Xia, Iblydos, Vudra...

I'm a bit more with Coridan on this I guess. Varisia is cool and all, but in many respects, it has a lot of familiar elements you see in other settings, such as Faerun and Greyhawk. That's its whole point. Nothing wrong with that, mind you. But, I can always get the familiar from plenty of other DnD settings. With places like Vudra and Arcadia, those type of settings don't exist, at least, not in the amount that a setting like Varisia does. So, I'd love to see more light on those places since it would be something new, fresh and exciting. maybe leave Varisia to modules or PFS. I don't know.

I have a short list of ideas based on the small number of hints. Jalmaray or Vudra, lovecraft, and Nidal is my current short list of guesses.

I feel that the 100 AP needs to be Absalom too.

For a city which is essentially Golarion's Greyhawk/Waterdeep, it has had surprisingly little focus in products. It is high time to finally fulfill this slow burn.

I don't know if I said it in this thread or another one, but yeah, I agree. I really want to see more about Absalom beyond some PFS scenarios that I don't play because I don't like PFS.

The players in my Sandpoint game at PaizoCon learned a little more.

There IS something afoot. Eventually it'll be revealed.

The Red Bishop abides.

I think #100 will be mostly a normal book but with a special foreword.

Not a fan of the Absalom ideas brought up here, as I think Absalom is the most boring and blandest place in all of Golarion. And far too big for a meaningful city campaign, I think, too.

I think it's boring and bland because there really isn't as much stuff on it as other areas. It has one city book from 3.5 and an excerpt in ISWG. Like with anything, it can be made interesting with cool material and actual support.

Yeah, the city book was really limited by page count too, IMO. When I read it, it just felt like they didn't have enough room to do the place justice. One of the reasons I'd like an Absalom AP is in the hope they'd also release an Absalom hardcover.

Agreed. If Absalom got anywhere close to the same treatment that Magnimar did, it would be freaking awesome. I loved the Magnimar book and use is all the time when making my own cities.

I am not generally not really that eager to return to Varisia, but a whole campaign centered on Kaer Maga would be pretty kick-ass.

Yep. It is my single favourite Golarion based publication

Red Bishop... Pazuzu... reminds me of that red dagger from Ser Talbot's journals...

what i want to know is who has the little clips of qoutes of James Jacobs peppered amongst the various maps and adventure seeds from the inner world guide all plastered on the wall with various lines intersecting everywhere. all the while Cackling madly both from a lack of sleep and because they finally cracked the code of what they plan to do.

extra points go to the following people if its them

:
James Jacobs (only because i'm pretty sure he's always cackling madly), Rob McCreary, Adam Daigle, Wes Schneider(another mad cackler i imagine, in fact i would not be surprised if James,Wes and Erik have devised a way to communicate solely thru mad cackling), Lisa Stevens or Erik Mona
