I'm just going to assume that one of those involves Rick, and stay out of it.

I especially like the use of evocative music in the Alpha so far. Though it is a bit similar to something, just can't put my finger on it.

PFO Alpha Theme Song

I found a pretty thoughtful review from one of the Alpha testers.

This thread is full of disappointment :(

Less disappointment for me - more relief.

(e.g. *sees thread in forum* ... "WTF? Why didn't I get an invite email? Or ... anything??" *clicks thread* ... "Oh. Pfft.")

Which means you'll have a hard time finding more disappointment anywhere! This thread gives you more disappointment than almost any other thread anywhere, anytime.

Goblin Squad Member

Except, of course, for this one.

If I had a spare $1.99 to waste, I'd go register that domain name and point it to something amusing.

Goblin Squad Member

That's not nearly as disappointing as this thread.

Sure, it might be a rickroll. It might also be cats failing to make jumps, the star wars kid, my own personal youtube channel, or secrets of the universe.

What if it's secrets of the universe?

Can you really afford NOT to click?

Yep!

The only thing worse than falling for a trap is when they tell you it's a trap and you fall for it anyway.

I checked for traps the barbarian way: I walked right into them, on purpose.

No, I'm not telling you what they were. Barbarian up, folks!

A true seeker of knowledge. I salute you, sir. What mysteries of the universe is this wise barbarian now privy to? Only other knowledge seekers, who click links, will ever know.

Goblin Squad Member

The truly savvy seeker after knowledge understands that it is possible to search Google for a Youtube link and get a look at the link without triggering the video.

Goblin Squad Member

A handsome bard singing about love. Who could resist listening to such a melodic tune?

Pft. Just click the link and press Escape to stop it loading the video itself. I can't get Youtube to play stuff right even when I want it to.

No Rickard of Rolle here, just a different sort of bard battle.

Liberty's Edge Goblin Squad Member

Goblin Squad Member

Yes, you have all found the bard.

And thank you for posting keeping this bumped and making it look super interesting and tantalizing! How many more flies can my electrostaticly charged web catch?

You have Canadian immunisation.

Goblin Squad Member

[for the first time in weeks, has no funny answer]

Just mention the multi-million dollar illegal black market trade in maple syrup. The Southies eat that stuff up.

Shhhhh! I was trying to avoid exposing our connection to Golgotha too soon.

A shorter name that is easier to remember? ;)

I remember your presence (and thank you for your great contributions), but I doubt I could write it.

Is this better?

I tried to change to "The Half-Elf formerly known as Caldeathe Baequiannia" but apparently that's not acceptable.

Or we could go with the Human translation: "Faith Eternal, Blessed by the Willow"

Goblin Squad Member

Those Humans sure can mislead, can't they?

Goblin Squad Member

"Lost in translation" is the appropriate phrase.
