better yet, what does the party have? you get more submissions that way.
Good thinking!
So far we've got a CG orc bloodrager and TN drow oracle. A third player invited by the GM has yet to pick a race or class although he has accepted the slot.
So we have two slots filled and it's never a problem to have a second one of them: Melee meat shield and healer.
Choose what you like.
We're playing on google groups and roll20 with character sheets posted to myth-weavers. If you're interested in a slot shoot me your email so I can add you to the google group.

Personally I have no issue with them but unless you can make gunpowder, I'm not sure the Mwangi is your safest bet to find a good supply!
I'm going to show my GM the link and let him pick who he thinks is the best fit. If anyone else in interested I encourage you to also put your name in the hat. There is a possibility for a fifth slot.

It is awesome and it would be allowed but with the appropriate penalties for using a mid-sized weapon. I agree, monkey grip is AWESOME, but it is sometimes broken. I'll ask the GM.
Apparently our drow PC wants to run a drow noble which I consider not ok so that may end up changing (drow nobles are 41rp) but if he stays as a common drow it would a pretty cool group so far: non evil underdark races.
I'll talk to the gm. I bet a house feat for a single weapon being monkey gripped for the specific purpose herein (this kobold) should be fine. If you try to wield a large size longsword (were you medium) it would be an 8 foot blade. Explain to me how you would use that ably in a 5 ft hallway lol
Another option is I think there is a trait or something that gives you bonuses with a family weapon. If I find it I'll post it!

The trait is heirloom weapon and it wouldn't help you.
Again I'll talk to the gm but here's what I would do, personally.
A lot comes into play so, free I GM, here is what I'd do (this is also what I'm going to suggest to the gm.)
Kobolds are 5 rp.
The heirloom weapon will give you a mwk weapon to start.
Trade out a tbd racial trait, maybe trap craft. You spent time messing with this sword instead of learning sneakery, say.
Have a minimum str 10.
With your weapon I'd give you regular attacks, no penalty, not including the masterwork bonus. With any other weapon of the same size and type, if give you only -1.
Again, the GM may just say "sure." I'm cobbling the group together but I'm not going to run it so it's not my call.

I am interested. need to flesh out a new char and can do so tonight and tomorrow. thinking a rogue archer. With point blank shot I can still get my sneak attacks in with ranged attacks correct? Either that or a Pally.
I'll start working on the rogue now.
Yes to point blank shot and sneak attacks, I believe.

This would be my kobold's sheet and skills. He takes some hits in Int and Cha, but he's a 3 foot tall lizard man. I don't think he's going to be wowing anyone with his knowledge of which herbs are poisonous and which are okay to wipe with. :P

He's got 12 STR & CON & WIS, 14 DEX, and 8 INT and CHA. I've also managed to reduce his attack penalty to 0 with Weapon Focus and his BAB. I also have an extra feat, but I put it into Dodge, since that will boost his AC to 19 and give him more of a fighting chance.

actually he needs many adjustments, have to fix him for 15 point buy, somehow I thought I had read that you changed the buy points to 20, don't know where I read that.
Actually I'm glad you mentioned something. I don't know where that went because I did indeed say that. That's really weird. I must have accidentally cleared it out in an edit.
It is 20 point buy not 15 point buy.

Nice build, Dayan - Wonderig if Traits are allowed though.
Great question and one that, without my GM having replied, that I can answer.
Two traits plus a third trait from the serpents skull players guide. Anything paizo is allowed. Same rules as any other set of traits in that you can only have one of each type (faith, combat, etc)

The party drow is going to be a noble drow and I find the idea of a character with at-will levitate, feather fall, and constant detect magic to be outside the kind of campaign I want to play in. The group is still going and they are still looking for a fighter who will be selected from this thread. I will be looking for a new group (in a new thread), including GM, and I will reach out to those of you who are still looking.
I've voiced disagreement with the choice but the player and GM are of like mind that it's ok. The simple and amicable solution is to play in separate groups. They both seem like great guys and the campaign should be a blast. I highly encourage anyone else still interested to join up.

My gunslinger can be up close like a fighter.
Also, a fair word of warning, I'll change my backstory if selected in that group as I spent hours writing it when I first made it. The backstory will be similar to what I have, as in raised by fauns and elves, parents killed, tryanny going on, but not evil Demon, Glade will be plagued by other things. He will have the same personality.
