It is gems like this exchange that (in part) make wading through all the sniping and attitudes on the site worthwhile. Thanks for that guys.

So many of us saying how we wish we had met or gamed with the fine fellow.
But we have!
Everytime we read his words, remember fine moments in our encounters, we oft forget the writers on the cover, and inside. Take a look, what are you running / playing right now?
I would bet more than one book involved has been across this mans desk.
So, you see, we all play with the man, every time we roll those dice.

When I (almost accidentally) discovered that I could post stuff on here, it was my first (and remains my only) experience of Internet forums.
My most amazing memory is when SKR himself replied to one of my posts, and actually made an errata based on what I said!
I was actually communicating with one of the writers of the game, and through SKR I actually helped change the game (very slightly)!
I'm still amazed and grateful to this day.
Good luck SKR!
(Can I call you 'S'?)

Hey, folks.
I deliberately stayed out of this thread when it was active because I didn't want to influence it. I think I liked a couple of post that especially made me laugh.
Now that I'm no longer an admin (and can no longer see negative posts made by other people, which were removed by Paizo staff), reading this thread is a bunch of support and good feelings for the decision Jodi and I made.
There are so many nice posts here by fans, friends, and colleagues (categories which often overlap), it's a bit overwhelming. Reading this right before Gen Con--which is my big opportunity to see many of these people in person--is a gift.
I'm not going to go back through this thread and "+" every single post in it (that would be silly), but please consider it done.
Thank you for this thread. I really do appreciate it.
