Rooter? Maulwurf? Scalo? Talpi? Eimer? Avogadro? (OK, maybe the last is too punny.)
(Huh? I thought Avogadro was an Italian astronomer who had a lunar crater named after him.)
Snowden? Assange? The Flightless Bat? Digby? Something Not Quite Dead Yet That The Cat Presented To Me Back In August? Avgolemono? Doomstar (okay, maybe a bit obscure)?

Yep, that's the dude. He's also known for the Avogadro constant (hence the pun).
I have been unable to think up any mole names based on the other other mole.

Oh, that kind of mole. Hey, "mole" can also refer to a dock or breakwater which extends out into the water for some distance. How about "Jetty"?

Mmmm I am thinking my references are either too old or obsure...I Blame Cosmo.
Not to me, they're not. I'm just trying to age disgracefully.
Hmmm. "Underworldling"? In tight black leather and kewl shades?
"The Little Gentleman in the Black Velvet Waistcoat"? Now, there's obscure for you.

That is the version of mole in my Indonesian dictionary...apart from the other derogatory definition of mole that breaks down into the two Indonesian words: fly and faeces...
Best go with the Japanese word for mole(animal): mogura
