Well, I had hoped to launch our line of Pirate AP Plug-Ins in JanuARRRy, or FebruARRRRy, or perhaps best of all MARRRRch, but it looks like ARRRpril is going to have to suffice. I've turned over all the materials for the first Islands of Plunder adventure to layout, so as soon as its put together we'll be read to launch, hopefully early next week!

PIRATES AHOY OFF THE STARBOARD BOW!!!
Red sails in the morning, sailors take warning! These pirates will be ready to board on the morrow!

AVAST! THE PIRATES ARE HERE!!!
And in case you want a preview of a raging tide of piratey goodness coming down like a hurricane, check out the preview post here!

I'm glad to see new stuff coming out- even with all the Mythic Mayhem going on :) shows quite a bit of integrity.
I'll probably not be getting any pirate stuff for the foreseeable future, however, as I mentioned the idea of, 'check it out! High seas adventure! tropical islands to explore!' and my group's response was, 'meh'. *shrug*

I'm going to need to run that Pirate AP again so I can include all the great pirate/aquatic/age of sail stuff that's come out since I finished it! All of these plug-ins sound great!

Tarin's Crown! Whoo-hoo! My contribution came out first! It has been made amazing by Matt Goodall. He really took what I did and polished it up into something I am really proud of. And it looks beautiful! The portraits of my three NPCs and the map...very, very happy! :D
EDIT: In case anyone was wondering, I'm Geoff Roy. I think most people will figure that out from the Tarin's Crown or check my profile page or something, but you can never be too sure.

I'm going to hold off somewhat until it hits print & I can get it via my FLGS (which I'm also doing for Faerie Mysteries- it's not yet available via their distributor). Inasmuch as I'm interested in new stuff, as I mentioned earlier my players aren't really interested in a full-blown pirate campaign. But locales for adventure when they're on the way from point A to point B... :D

For those following the bonus goals in the MYTHIC MANIA Kickstarter, you'll see the the next several Mythic Monsters products have been announced!
Mythic Monsters: Fairy Tale Creatures
Mythic Monsters: Dragons
Mythic Monsters: Giants
Mythic Monsters: Magical Beasts
Fairy Tale Creatures is in final edits and dragons is about 3/4 done being written, and artwork is complete for Fairy Tale, Dragons, and Giants.
We've already previewed the upcoming products in the [url="http://www.makeyourgamelegendary.com/featured-product/"]Pirate Adventure Path Plug-In[/i] line, and we have artists and writers at work on a number of other products as well. I am in the midst of an undisclosed project in addition to the Kickstarter and writing what other bits I can as I go along, including a Treasury of the Crusade for the Righteous Crusade AP Plug-Ins line. And, of course, one of these days I will finally get Ultimate War out the door.
That drawing board is awfully crowded! :)

I'm curious to see how these minis will be distinguishable in regards to Mythic.
Also, Jason, will LG have a booth at GenCon and will you be in attendance?
Attendance yes, booth no. Turns out booths are REALLY expensive at GenCon! Also, I've been advised by pretty much everyone that on a first GenCon you should just go to soak it all in, so that's my plan at present. I think I'm on one panel about 3PPs but that's about it as far as formal commitments.

And just like magic, Mythic Monsters XII: Fairy Tale Creatures is now available! You can get it right now on the Legendary Games webstore and as soon as it gets posted up on Paizo.com, d20pfsrd, and DrivethruRPG. Mythic versions of the following creatures:
Banshee
Bogeyman
Faerie dragon
Frumious bandersnatch
Green hag
Jabberwock
Jubjub bird
Leprechaun
Pixie
Redcap
Unicorn
Will-o'-wisp
and the all-new Boojum Snark!
Plus a collection of fey-themed spells, both standard spells and mythic spells! Come and get it!

Cool! Any idea when this (and Faerie Mysteries) will be available via CreateSpace for those of us trying to save on international shipping?
I think we've finally solved the blocking issue we were having with CreateSpace and got some products through, though it was a vexing struggle. Once I get a little more free time after next Monday, I should be able to get a backlog of products pushed through CS, and I'll let folks know when they're available!

That sounds like a great list of monsters there. I'm especially hoping that Mythic Giants has a very 'Old Norse Jotuns' feel to it.
And, of course, one of these days I will finally get Ultimate War out the door.
I'm looking forward to it! I also hope that the promised book/PDF about how to stage tournaments comes along sometime soon as well.

A quick update on the coming soon from Legendary Games, and a look at a much bigger future...
Wishing you all the best on your new direction in life! Keep producing stellar game products (hopefully soon including one in particular) and I'll keep buying them.
And 'Island of Plunder: Spices and Flesh'? Do we want to know?

Islands of Plunder: Spices and Flesh now available!
P.S. If you've enjoyed Tarin's Crown, please do take a moment to write a review, like or share post about it on FB, and otherwise spread the good word however you can. We certainly appreciate your support and hope you enjoy this adventure as much as the first, if not more!

Okay I got Path of Dragons.
I love that this quote is included
Alternatively, if you believe the mythic rules have exacerbated the action economy issues that have long bedeviled solo bad guys in Pathfinder, you need not adjust the dragon’s CR at all and can simply add the requisite abilities in an effort to counterbalance the ad- vantage player characters have long enjoyed.
Item-draining magic-using dragons? Someone had arcanists on the brain:)
Normally I would say that the universal monster abilities (although they are only really 'universal' for one creature type) are probably my favorite part of the crunch, since they are the most reuseable and versatile. But the Miser and Sibilant are equally awesome. I'm glad someone finally remembered to think about non-combat capabilities for "monsters".
Time to spring these on some unsuspecting PCs!

Glad to hear you loved it. If you have time, please do post a review on the product page for Path of Dragons!

That does sound pretty sweet! :)
At this point, I anticipate that our next product to release will be Ultimate War. I should be getting the review copies in the next day or so, and if everything is copacetic I hope to be able to release it on Friday.
Next in line, aside from our Mythic Minis restarting next month (hey, I'm taking the week off right after GenCon) would be Path of Villains, and we shall see what comes after that!

I keep wondering, what is the relationship between the various Legendary Games' Mythic Mini products and the Mythic Kickstarter project? Are the minis part of the hardcover books, or will they complement each other?

Neil Spicer RPG Superstar 2009, Contributor |

The Mythic Minis will certainly be some of the content which goes into the Mythic Mania hardcovers. However, that'll only be a subset of the Mythic Mini content. They'll each still have mythic monsters that don't make it into the Mythic Monster Manual, for instance. So, while there's some overlap, each product will have its own unique content, as well.

It'd Friday (in Australia)!
I was going to write that, but you beat me to it. :)
I'm really busting for Ultimate War, but in saying that, I'm happy to wait for release. We can't have Jason being under too much pressure on a Friday. That's when all the really bad mistakes are made.
