Jason Nelson wrote: Also, thanks to the generosity of Isuru, we are sending a copy of Legendary Swashbucklers to Changing Man!
Once Mike sends me the list of all natural 1's, I'll be rolling off to see who gets a free hardback!
Thanks to all who participated, and Merry Christmas to you!
I was offline due to holiday travels, and this was an awesome thing to find in my inbox!
Thanks again to His Mighty Badgerness, all the great 3pp guys and gals out there, and congrats to everyone!!
Happy Holidays to all!!

If I don't catch your PM before I turn in for the night, I'll be roaming around these forums during the evening tomorrow.
Thanks to taig for putting this together.
Funny about that roll off. Has a double matched 20 (or any number) happened in a roll off before?
Hoody-Hoo !!!
Now I just gotta see what goodies I want :)

Congrats to everyone who has won so far :)
I was hoping I'd have better luck yesterday, what with it being my b-day and all. BUT I've still got a runner-up thing to 'cash in'.
And at this point, I've kinda lost track of all the offers...

I don't think I have any of those, so maybe... whatever's left over (if anything) :)

Although I won't be participating in the open call (time constraints), I am really looking forward to seeing the Deadly Gardens line expand!
What about Avalon Games' various Infinite Future Aliens? Their whole collection is on sale at the moment for $1,-/ item.

I'm still hoping for the print edition of the Trusty Tavern Tome (I have the pdf). As Beers, Tankards, Etc. is already on it's way to me, I can always hope!!
Bodhizen wrote: remoh wrote: This interest me. I will be running a "Kingmaker in Space," down the line. Will you be addressing the pathfinder Campaign rules (down time, kingdom running, etc)?
Thanks for your question, Remoh!
I'm not really certain what you feel needs to be addressed with regard to the Pathfinder campaign rules. Can you please clarify your question for me? I believe Remoh is referring to the rules presented in the Ultimate Campaign book- handling downtime, building a kingdom, etc.
(And yes, this is also relevant to my interests...)
@ Rick Hershey - I sent you an e-mail concerning last year's bundle!
Will the compendium be available in print once it is completed?

Thanks,

This post of mine seems to have gotten lost in the shuffle...

Oh man. and I just bought this yesterday...
But I can say, this is all kinds of awesome!
So does that mean if I support now at the $15,- pledge level, then at the beginning of next month I'll be charged $30,- (if I don't set a monthly limit) for the two supplements already made, and that they'll be mailed out right again?
PCGen is finalizing the Advanced Class Guide, and most everything is done.
Rogue Genius has the Mosaic Mage which redefines the schools by colors. I use this (along with the eastern elemental scheme, which includes wood & metal) as the 'standard' for wizards from the east in my games for the two predominant philosophies of arcane magic.

No worries :) SO I just have 2 versions instead of one.
What would really be cool is some Mini's for all these critters- or, since the artwork is so awesome, some of ArcKnight's FPMs. Now THAT would be an insta-buy...
Oh, and PCGen support for MKoM... I guy can wish, eh?
Gotta catch 'em all :)
err, I mean- snagged it :D
I got two different files in my DL via DriveThru; what it the difference between the two? I haven't had a chance to look it over as closely as I'd like with my daughter lurking about, peeking over my shoulder, and wondering what's up with this mysterious package that arrived that I HAVEN'T opened (for a change).
I'll drop you an e-mail :)
I was wanting to snag a few things, but it seems like the site is trying to charge me shipping costs for pdf's?? Is there a glitch somewhere?
Well, if you hadn't gone and , Psionics could easily be reskinned as a form of 'Spirit Magic' or 'Medicine', with the inner reserves of psionic power being the individual's connection with (fill in the blank- the earth, the universe, mystery of the cosmos- whatever works). The spectrum of psionic classes and powers have many analogs to mystical or supernatural abilities from indigenous myths and legends, so it wouldn't be too much of a stretch.
And since, as you mentioned, only one type of magic is really common, then this 'alternative', rare option still works for the odd character who managed to learn to find his connection (or was born into the tradition).
I have one I'm meaning to send over; I have my illegible notes on scratch paper, but I rather doubt scanning that in would qualify as 'submitting a character'. I wish I had a form-fillable PsiCharSheet; I think I'll plug my notes into PCGen instead and use its export function. That will also help to double-check my math- I often tend to give myself less than I'm actually entitled to...
As was depicted in The Worldwound Gambit, you pretty much have to bring your food with you. Or resort to cannibalism, which the cultists are certainly more than willing to do. That and steal from the Crusaders who are usually smart enough to bring supplies with them.
Spells like Create Water and Create Food and Water are your best bets for survival, although some limited foraging might be possible, albeit unwise.
Some Tieflings may have the alternate racial trait which allows them to eat ash and such ( I think that is from Blood of Fiends).
Also in the aforementioned novel, you see that many of the human cultists are indeed infected by the diseases and whatnot, but their fervor (or maybe fever?) pretty much gives them a 'who cares' kind of attitude. Of course, the more they can align themselves with certain demons or persons with the ability to cure (or at least stave off the effects of) their disease, the better- and the demons encourage this kind of sycophantic behavior.
Looks like a steal at $70 for the deluxe set- what with all the minis and extras!
silverhair2008 wrote: I have not received the Backerkit for Quests of Doom yet. Has anyone else received theirs? I got my invite well over a week ago (I also got the one-week 'reminder' from backerkit). It'll be coming to whatever e-mail address you use for Kickstarter, and you might want to check your spam filter, since it is kind-of like a mass-mailing.
So when will the Backerkit be locked down? I kinda need to know to make sure all my monies are shuffled where they need to be :)

Was I mistaken, or hadn't I read somewhere that subscribers would get some sort of %-off the print copy? Yes, you should get it at $10 off. GhanjRho wrote:
This is news to me. How should I have accessed this? Is the ~60$ I just spent locked in?
Changing Man wrote: Cool! So how does this work for those of us who subscribed via your website directly, and not OBS? Just bumping up these queries that seem to have gotten buried :)
Interjection Games has Words of Power Unleashed. This, along with the aforementioned Jon Brazer Enterprises works are pretty much all I found when I went on a similar search a few months ago.
Which is unfortunate, since the system has a great deal of potential.
Hey Greg, just so y'all know- some folks are trippin' over in the 'comments' section for the Quests of Doom KS... I guess they never heard of using e-mail.
This definitely looks cool. Probably should cross-post to the minis portion of the forum, eh?
Dotted for interest.
I already have the first, and although I've only glanced through it, I liked what I saw.

@ Choon - Ah, ok! Thank you for spelling that out for me. Still, at 11th level, when I consider the adversaries a party should be facing, that amount of healing will only be a stop-gap measure at best (especially considering the amount of PP's involved, and proper resource management, etc etc.). Unless of course, the party is only having a one-encounter adventuring day, in which case going nova isn't such a big issue.

I think I'm missing something here- how is the amount healing being multiplied, when it says:
Heal Injuries wrote: You psionically augment the healing ability of the targets with your power. The targets heal 110 points of damage total, divided among the targets at your discretion.
Augment: You can augment this power in one or both of the following ways.
1 For every additional power point you spend, the total amount healed increases by 10 points of damage.
2 If you spend 6 additional power points, you can heal all living creatures within 20 feet of you.
Boldfaced for emphasis. As I read it, 2 guys could get an un-augmented 55hp healing from this, and so on. How exactly were you getting numbers in the thousands from one use of this power? I'm not trying to be critical, it's more of an 'inquiring minds want to know' thing :)
I have a question for the Necromantic Frogs related to the Quests of Doom KS & Backerkit:
I wasn't able (due to lack of funds) to add on the Book of Lost Spells during the KS, but I see I can do that now via Backerkit. Would there be any way to also toss in a hardcopy of Stoneheart Valley to my 'order', and have these all shipped together (to save on postage)?
Just how short is 'short'? 5 pages? 25 pages?
more pertinent to my interests - is the page count sufficient to warrant a print option?
Yes (they are people too), maybe, yes-no-on-again-off-again, yes, yes (and divorce), yes (including adoptions), yes and no.
:)

Fine. You could see this as a great chance to fix things you didn't like about the Cartomancer and breathe some new life into this class...
