Jason, a while back there was mention of a book about tournaments. Is that still in the pipeline?

I was just coming in to ask about this one too.

Thanks for the update Jason.

ULTIMATE WAR is finally in print! After SEVEN versions, we finally managed to exterminate the glitches that were dogging our heels, and the print order has been placed. They should arrive at LG central in 1-2 weeks and we'll be dropping them in the mail as soon as they arrive! Many thanks to all for your patience; this one has had far more than its share of troubles getting to see the light of day, but see the light of day it shall!

Cool! When you say, 'exterminate the glitches', does that include the glitches Eric Hinkle found in the post where he said

Eric Hinkle wrote:

There seem to be some minor errors with the lists of ships in the book. For example, Table 9 on page 21 lists the required types of buildings for every sort of ship except the Nautilus. Not a major error, as I'd assume it needs the same ones as the Dreadnought (and let me say, I love the addition of needing not just BPs but certin kinds of buildings to make certain vessels; as well as the idea of artillerymen and ships' crews being separate from the soldiers in armies while still counting against the maximum forces you can have).

Also, in Table 11 on page 23, some entries for things like required crew for the Dreadnought and Greatship, with a '1' for the former (just one crew? Talk about a ship that sails itself!) and a '?' for both crew and oars for the latter. I assume the proper number of crew for a Dreadnought is meant to be '100' and ''50' for a Greatship, the same as a Longship and Gallleass, and that it needs no oars given that no oar speed is listed for it.
(truncated for brevity's sake)

In any case, I'll likely be ordering this... soonish. :)

Those got fixed a long time ago. These were more technical glitches with the CreateSpace interface and the PDF itself. Weird stuff kept cropping up with it. It all came out in the wash, as they say.

gotta love technology- it gives us more and more ways to say 'what the heck just happened?!'
;)

Sovereign Court

Eight versions, Jason, eight. We just did not need to use that final one. ;)

Speaking of new stuff...

Behold the first preview for our upcoming PATH OF VILLAINS, in layout now and available probably by the end of this week or beginning of next. It's a product chock-full of advice as well an array of malevolent mechanics for making life miserable for the heroes in your campaign. Check it out and look for the remaining previews as we run up to product release!

Another preview for Path of Villains, along with a 5-star review of Mythic Monsters: Devils - diabolical delights all around! Check em out on our website!

I've seen them scattered about in the various Mythic Monsters, but when you get enough, or even when you don't, you should create a Mythic Monsters: Familiars. Give us mythic versions of familiars to use with the Mythic Improved Familiar feat. I would buy that. I would buy the heck out of that.

Also, if you already have this, point me to it. If this is already planned... I can wait, probably...

Mythic familiars are, in fact, planned for the MYTHIC MANIA hardbacks. They might make it into an upcoming standalone product as well, but uncertain at this time.

Is there anywhere that lists the Legendary Games product schedule for the rest of 2014?

Scarab Sages RPG Superstar 2008 Top 4; Contributor; Publisher, Legendary Games

I'll try to get that up by the end of the week. Schedules are always subject to change, but I think we've got a good notion on a fair number of things coming down the pike.

Well that's good. I'm super eager to get my hands on another mythic monsters.

The villains are on the warpath, and they're bringing MYTHIC MONDAY with them! PATH OF VILLAINS brings you a complete toolbox for making the most of your villains, helping them survive close encounters of the hero kind (or return from the grave or an improbable escape just when your heroes thought they'd seen the last of them), while FEATS OF MISCELLANEOUS MAGIC brings you 10 new mythic feats for spellcasters of all sorts.

So with the ACG now in the PRD (as of TODAY!) will we be seeing Neil Spicer's hero collections soon?

Working on it. Nautical Heroes first (since the art is ready). Metal Heroes to follow.

I just want to give my compliments for the personal message in my Ultimate war book, a "thank you" (Takk in Norwegian) and in my own language even. That was just awesome and totally unexpected.

That was indeed cool of them. And hey, thanks too for the personal messages in Ultimate War and its predecessors Ultimate Rulership and Battle. I'll be just as delighted to read it when I get my hands on a copy of the forthcoming one with information on the Troop template and troop types. Now THAT is desperately needed!

Agreed. A very nice touch, indeed. :)

I cannot wait for that book to happen. Just sayin'.

Glad you guys enjoyed. I figured it was the least I could do in appreciation of your patience with the delays in getting the print books out to you!

Pushing hard to get the next pile of stuff out the door and hopefully have much less than a year pass until Ultimate Armies! :)

Very excited for Nautical Heroes, I hope it arrives soon.

A little over 3600 words to go (i.e., around 450 per PC), and then it'll move to layout. Certainly expect it at some point here in October, assuming that jives with Jason's production schedule. The good thing is we already have all the art on hand. So, we're ahead of the curve in that regard. The overtaxed author just needs to bring it home. ;-)

RPG Superstar 2009, Contributor

Took a bit longer than I wanted, but the manuscript for Nautical Heroes has been turned over for editing and layout. Hopefully, Jason and the crew can get it released here in November. If so, I'll be sure to "give thanks" for their efforts and everyone's patience.

Yay for Neil! We'll get this put together and through layout as soon as we can; best guess is that it'll be available by next week.

Meanwhile, time for you to finish up with that other product. Something totally METAL!!!
