Maybe when I'm in my 60s or 70s, the tech will be good enough to put in some cybernetics and jack into the MMO I'm playing at the time.

If the singularity comes, I will be looking forward to much more than being able to play games with my datajack.

I am curious on what the physical age people of people following PFO is.
Of course this is all voluntary and if you feel more comfortable leaving a range or ignoring this post feel free :)
I am 50.
35 here.
Glad to see you here, Valakasch.

I am freshly 50, and until now i supposed that i was an old player ...
I started playing RPG in 1980 with D&D and playing computer games in 1981 (or 1982) with Mystery house.
(For french people I really was/am a proto geek)
I also started to PEEK, POKE and CALL-151, but this is another story...
I'm turning 25 this Saturday. :)
Tomorrow I'll be 31!
And you all are invited to my bbq party. Gaucho style barbecure:

The detail is that you will have to discover the place. Rolling Diplomatics or Local won't help.
Happy birthday, Kemedo. If you're interested in the genre at all, you should check out Paradox's Europa Universalis; it's a *blast* to play Portugal.
Damn, Jazz, there goes my weekend...
Prepare for way more than that; Paradox makes some frighteningly (in a good way) oh-ghod-where-did-my-life-go games.
Oh I know - haven't played EU4 for a while, but CK2 and Victoria - timesinks extraordinaire.

My husband's 55. He's in my Crowdforger Guild, but is a really, REALLY bad typist so he never posts. Does that count?
Is that similar with Total War? I played a lot of Total War games...
I think this is really interesting data from a company perspective (although from a very limited sampling). Would be interesting to see this data in relation to all players at the beginning of EE, the end of EE, and 6 months after OE.

29 here.
Having seen the demographic data, I can't help but imagine PFO PvP as something like this.

Monty Python always made funny stuff. A classic.
One chalk for 40-44! I'm 44. This November, I might have to post again to move the next group. How exciting!

Is there anyway you could share the age bands and percentages with us at each of those milestones?

I'll be 26 in a few weeks! (Don't count that as a new result hehe).

I didn't have to watch it to know what it was.
35, and a member of Her Majesties Royal Air Force, United Kingdom.
32 methinks. I stopped counting when i hit 15, figured that would be enough. I´m probobly one of the very few from the frozen north of sweden.

And I think 10 in the 50-59 if you include "Delanira husband"
I would be happy to have an elder besides me.

Would you appear on "Antique Roadshow"?
I am 2^5 and, sadly, no longer able to show my age on one hand. ;)
For whoever commented on twitch fighting earlier, Dark Souls is my ideal combat system. Not as twitchy as Halo, not as deliberate as KOTOR. Though, Transistor has a special place in my heart for the blend of the two.
My father is 62 and he will also be playing.

I wouldn't represent 60+ as 60-69. I think I have members in my guild starting at 13 and going up to 70+. I doubt they left their age here yet.
Okay - to add some years
48
40-44
13
That is all three members which have finished the Eye of the 10 in PFS and are signed up to play and also all have some PFS GM experience. It's only me active here on the boards but the whole family tends to go to PFS conventions here in the UK. There is also my daughter at 11 - but she is less interested and I dedicated my wife's destiny twin for her should she want to doodle a little bit and I rather left her out as I'm not fully counting her.
The hardcore will be me and my son for which I originally opted for a buddy pledge very early in the KS before upgrading to guild level.
I'm proud to have been 29 for 20 years now!
So you're 29 again,/ Don't tell lies to your good friend

(okay, so I'm 49 :) )
Harad Navar wrote: Would you appear on "Antique Roadshow"? I certainly do have an interesting provenance...
Not that they spend much time in the forums, but the majority of Audacity falls in the 30-39 category as well.
No offense meant Thod, but the name of the thread is "Forum Reader Age", not PfO Fan Age or some equivalent. ;)
I was born about the same time Jimmy Hoffa went missing :)
