Alright... it was a tough choice, and I say that knowing full well that it's a bit cliche from PbP recruitments! All the submissions were good, and several were outstanding. I changed my mind twice, polled my players, changed my mind again, re-read the submissions, watched Game 6, then finally sat down to type this.
I decided to pick James Martin's Kiyomi... welcome aboard!
Fully appreciating the amount of work that went into generating high level characters, I want to pass thank yous (and apologies) to everyone for their time!

I am certainly interested. Are the character creation rules similar to DM NomadSage's? If not, where can we find the character creation guidelines for your game Wu Fen Chang?
The rules are as follows.
25 point ability score buy.
2 Traits, but NO campaign traits due to the modified story set solely in Tian Xia.
Max HP per HD.
Average starting wealth.
Alignment replaced with honor points, which will affect how some spells work.
Natural 1's have to be confirmed, while critical hits gain an extra effect determined by a draw from my Critical Hit Effect deck.
No Gunslingers or firearms.
I believe that's it in regards to character creation.
Back stories modified to include membership in the Twilight Monastery, an organization run by a powerful Sensei who worships and takes in individuals revealed to him by patterns in the night sky, will be given preference. You will have been sent from the monastery to aid your fellows at the Sensei's behest if you include this, my way of GM'ing character replacement.
Apologies for the wording, but I had less than 4 hours sleep. I'm going to go grab some caffeine real quick!
If I understand correctly, though, starting level is 3 or 4, no?
Starting level is 1, my apologies for not clarifying. Everyone will be level 2 soon, however.

When I followed your posts back I found the War of Honor campaign. If that is the campaign we are creating characters for is it still going to be using the E6 rules? Also from what I seen it looks like the premise was something like Kingmaker meets Jade Reagent is that a rough idea behind the game.
No E6 rules! That makes high CR foes pretty much able to insta-TPK, so that is being scrapped.
And you are correct in assuming the basic premise of the campaign.

Good to know Wu Fen Chang. I will keep Hiriko and just adjust her level and back story. I do have a question. I wished to take a cantrip from the 3.5 spell compendium specifically Launch Bolt.
I have a similar spell written up but I figure this one is at least vetted. Part of the reason I wanted to take the spell is to open up the Eldritch Researcher Story feat latter down the road. Well that and it is a cool visual for the character to whisper or better yet blow on the arrow causing it to fly at my opponent.
Done and done! Add it as a cantrip!
Oh, and unless somebody posts before dawn and gives you serious competition, you're in! Alaren is already in because he already tweaked his character's backstory and was, last I talked to him, almost done tweaking stats as well! His story ties in really well to the Twilight Monastery. Given that most people have not reposted, except for you three, and you and Alaren have already confirmed interest, I feel we can safely proceed this way.
Not ignoring you, Dreaming Warforged, but you have not posted to confirm your interest yet, so just know I haven't forgotten about you!
And apologies to everyone for the odd wording and sentence construction, I dipped a little too many times into the Everclear hunch-punch (not skinny-dipping, dipping a ladle which I used to pour my drink, just thought I'd clarify in case you OOC snickered about how I worded the phrase! :D,)!
Thanks Wu Fen Chang I added the Cantrip to my character and deducted 500gp from my character sheet for the research. I took Rich as one of my traits for the expense of research. Well and because my characters archtype special ability is expensive to use :) I believe everything is ready on the character including the back story.
