Sounds like Tigari wants to make Deadapults.

Goblin Squad Member

I like the name of that! Can we claim that as a thing? Deadapults, sold By Pax :D (you must provide the bodies, training, and gear, we will provide the necromacy, and catapults)

I will agree with we need more assassin types. It's hard to gauge how many there are though. Most assassins want to stay in the shadows, not letting people know they are assassins :(. Only myself and a few others have actually left the safety of the Shadows and stepped into the light to announce our true identities.

I applied for Golgotha and I plan on being an Assassin. Although, now I will probably have to choose a different name for him to keep his identity secret. :\

Goblin Squad Member

Glad to have you aboard. Good luck on your application =)

Or just craft really good disguises for yourself.

It would be more impressive to be a famous assassin whose name is only whispered in dark corners of taverns, because heis so good at disguises that he could be ANYONE.

It'll be interesting to see what assassination looks like once its fleshed out. Hopefully there is a decent balance between training perception so high ANYONE can spot a high end assassin and making perception training so difficult people have to be severely hampered if they want to spot an assassin.

I expect assassination will not come down to an opposed bluff vs. sense motive or anything like that. When it is implemented, I expect it to be a robust system which gives both sides of the assassination many options, and which can be used often and to good effect without it becoming an end-all-be-all for weakening settlements.

I agree with this! And I have since Day 1 when I announced I was going to be an assasssin, and I WILL be using this name. So when people hear my name, they know. Tigari, The Poisoned Blade, is hunting again.

OOOO. I make dead people, Phyllain, you raise them to Undead, and we can put our engineers to work making Catapults/Siege Engines, and then our Military can Train/Arm the Undead, and we can Catapult the Undead over walls!!!!

Forgive the random lurk intrusion, but teamwork like that must always be commended!

@Areks, why did you have to mention the hat?

You asked for it!

Goblin Squad Member

LMAO!

Goblin Squad Member

I think I may have poked an eye out laughing at that, does that count?

Goblin Squad Member

So who wants cake? =)

Goblin Squad Member

Is it poisoned? I only eat poisoned cake, the normal kind plays havoc on my evil tummy. :(

Goblin Squad Member

"Cake for the Cakeless"

The motto that got the Lord Regent Elected.

Goblin Squad Member

Then no one got cake :D

If you gave them cake, they we're no longer cakeless, meaning they didn't get cake :D

Goblin Squad Member

Blood for the blood god?

Goblin Squad Member

Shameless Bump

Goblin Squad Member

Goblin Squad Member

I know it's not true (and an old "one liner"), but it got a chuckle from me anyway.

Goblin Squad Member

Golgotha is represented and going strong in the landrush. Show your support here to bring about the first of many Golgothan victories.

Technically the army is UNdead... but that's just semantics.

Goblin Squad Member

LOL, or Animated Dead

Goblin Squad Member

I guess it really doesn't matter when they are flying through the air at over 500mph. Still, I wonder if Phyllain and Tigari have worked out how to stop them from shattering on impact.

Goblin Squad Member

More spiky bits, I am also currently composing a spell that will let them reanimate upon impact.

Goblin Squad Member

Perhaps a delayed effect spell that doesn't actually animate the corpses until impact?

Goblin Squad Member

Full Plate

Goblin Squad Member

That'll make them ineffective. You are going to slow and weigh down the undead that are already slow. If they would only have the intellect to remove the armor after impact....

Goblin Squad Member

Perhaps we could encase them in jelly.

Goblin Squad Member

Disintegrating Gelatinous Cubes!!

Goblin Squad Member

Just use diseased bodies that will animate once over the walls. That should cover the basics.

Goblin Squad Member

Pillows then?

Goblin Squad Member

I like this new idea of launching gelatinous cubes.

Goblin Squad Member

Flaming Gelatinous Cubes!!
