Four votes....

This has been blown far too out of proportion over four votes.

@Archanjel

Read the official statement.

Then go to the Golgotha: Settlement Charter thread and check the date it was originally posted, and then check the date on the merger into the Pax Gaming Community.

So their enrollment happens early?

@Ryan Dancey
Why do you keep referring to the add-on accounts as OE?

"You can purchase additional Adventurer Reward Tier packages as Add-Ons. Each package of the Adventurer Reward Tier provides one Pathfinder Online account with all the bonuses and rewards described in the Adventurer Reward Tier. This is the perfect way to give a friend the gift of a Pathfinder Online subscription, along with all the special promotional bonuses and benefits of the Adventurer Reward Tier! Pathfinder Online accounts created with Adventurer Reward Tier add-ons will be invited to play during the last period of Early Enrollment, and will be eligible for Daily Deal items as of the date you increased your pledge by one or more $35 increments, not the date of your first eligibility."

While I understand that Last stage is not a definitive variable, it does make them an EE account.

But that really wasn't the topic of the thread. This was more for the members of my group that bought the 100$ EE package from the Paizo store. When will they be able to link/create a goblinworks account?

Also notice: The 100$ EE account is a horrible package compared to the 35$ add-on account. the 35$ account gets rewards like a kickstarter, aka destiny's twin, etc... The 100$ account, gets a copy of the game and get to play sooner. And alot of those people who have a 35$ account wouldn't mind paying the 65$ to upgrade their mega account to come in month 2 as well.

Just for honesty and transparency:

Golgotha has seen very few members from the Pax Gaming community join us. The majority of our membership has either A. Merged into Pax with us, or B. Applied to Pax Gaming to be a part of Golgotha. The honest trust is that we lost more members than we gained by joining into the Pax gaming community. They left for their own reasons, and we stayed for ours.

As for transparency: If anyone has asked what our stance is on a given topic, we have done the best of our ability to provide an answer that was unclassified.

Golgotha knew how to move and shake before we ever stepped into Pax.

Goblin Squad Member

What is the ETA of members who bought EE access through the Paizo store instead of goblinworks being able to connect those accounts?

There are a number of Lawful Good settlements and organizations, but how many Lawful Evil settlements have you seen ;)

Just use diseased bodies that will animate once over the walls. That should cover the basics.

@Audoucet
Just because a settlement/organization/group has an alignment in the tabletop does not mean every single individual in that organization is that alignment.

Several cities/kingdoms/organizations are listed as an alignment and that alignment is based upon a few things such as laws, ruling group, and influential acts.

@Andius

I am not contradicting you directly, but I do have a few questions:

1) Do you honestly expect any one settlement to hold their initial landrush settlement past 6-10 months after OE? This is their starter settlement after all and they will be the test dummies when it comes to finding out what works and what doesn't. It will take time to figure out the "optimal build" for a settlement.

2) Do you believe you have enough time to begin recruiting anew with a new faction in order to participate in the second landrush?

3) Wouldn't it be more constructive to shoulder the "burden" that their settlement selection caused and aid them from the inside than it would to publicly criticize them and try to make a rival settlement that will draw away from their recruiting base?

Sounds to me like an Insurgency. A terrorist group attempting to disrupt the goings-on of other groups for which you define who is and who is not oppressive. Good luck in your endeavor.

@IronVanguard

A quick explanation before advantages: To live in Golgotha means to be Golgothan, either through joining one of our initial Charter companies(CCs), Sponsored Charter Companies(SCCs), or Private Charter Companies(PCCs). Individuals may apply to be residents of Golgotha, but it is encouraged they join an existing CC, SCC, or PCC.

Advantages:
Protection
Resources
Jobs/Contracts
Cake

There are more advantages than just those presented at face value as well.

Golgotha, Aeternum, and Fidelis all have their own rosters. As a kingdom we will be providing support for each other, but each settlement/group will be self sufficient.

As we have not any concrete evidence of a skill list/training requirements at this time, this can be only speculation.

Current doctrine indicates the possibilities of growing Golgothan Territory in three ways: Budding, Annexation, and Vassalage. When game mechanics are released in regards to kingdoms and more is known about expansion, then these techniques are likely to be refined as they are just speculation.

Goblin Squad Member

Golgotha's objective is to bring order to the River Kingdoms. Our motto is: "Through strength of arms, we bring peace."

Though Golgotha will dominate battlefields and their adversaries, it is not our intention for Golgotha to "own" the river kingdoms.

Goblin Squad Member

@Ravenlute
Necromancy is just one flavor of magic that Golgothans will pursue in pursuit of power. However, that flavor is quite sweet.

@Darcnes
Anyone is welcome to negotiate trade with Golgotha. Negotiating trade may be tricky without resources with which to trade.

Golgotha is open to LE, NE, and LN. The children of the Abyss are not welcome here. There is always an approval process isn't there.

Banditry is not tolerated within our borders.

Squish

@Broken_Sextant
The best kinds of evil are the ones hidden throughout society. Golgothans are very private about what happens within their city walls.

Golgotha is not just a settlement. Golgotha is Law and Order. "If you wish for peace, prepare for war." -Roman Proverb.

In an act of transparency, The Lord Regent of Golgotha opens this thread for others within the River Kingdoms to ask their questions in regards to Golgotha and the Golgothans. Address your concerns here, for once the Golgothan Armies begin marching, there will be peace.

@Decius

Explain?
Why would my members not vote for a settlement?

Goblin Squad Member

Exciting

Goblin Squad Member

So instead of paying 35$ back in February, I need to have my members pay 100$ now in order to vote for our settlement.

Goblin Squad Member

Thats fine, but as they will be participating in the EE (Even if it is the last period of EE) shouldn't they get a vote for the Landrush?

Goblin Squad Member

Direct Quote this time:

Keep in mind, this was an Add-On just like Twice touched of Pharasma. These accounts were in addition to my Guild Level package.

Goblin Squad Member

Might want to read it again. It clearly states that they will get access during the last month of EE.

There was an add-on once the pledge manager went live for 35$ for a pioneer level account that gets EE access. I have quite a few of these accounts purchased for my guildmembers and friends and I cannot understand why I have not yet been able to assign them.

Goblin Squad Member

I can send out the accounts for the Guild ones. Aka 5 of 5 invitations sent and accepted. But I have yet to be able to assign the add-on accounts that I purchased to the individuals I would like them assigned too.

Goblin Squad Member

"Si vis pacem, para bellum"

Goblin Squad Member

So I purchased the guild level package and then in turn purchased several of the 35$ Add-on for another account. When will I be able to give those accounts to people?
