If someone can cast a floating disc, we can probably start opening them soon.
Looking if there is somewhere the water can drain into: 1d20 + 15 ⇒ (18) + 15 = 33
Bear assists: 1d20 + 20 ⇒ (5) + 20 = 25
*Starts drooling as she smells boiled crab and is a little distracted.*
Nasty: That door is really hot.
The rest of the dungeon is now drained thanks to you opening that valve on the way up here. at the bottom of the kelpie pool there is another room with a door much like the 3 steel doors you opened to reach the dreadcrab. On the otherside is a looooong corridor that leads to... BOORDOR.
As always you are welcome to try and deal with the lake of fiery water and the now throughly boiled crab within.
"Soon as the pot cools we can open it up and have lunch, dibs on a claw!"
Pulls out small hammer and bib....
Do we have a hook and some rope? Maybe we can fish it out.
That would be one lucky shot. Probably need a cargo net to catch it and to let the water thru.
It appears as though we have hit a snag, here is your situation.
You are all behind a metal door that is keeping a lake of fiery water from flowing into the hallway and burning you all real good.
Down the hall, in the former demense of the kelpies you found a room that was covered by water(The dungeon is now devoid of all water in the halls) with a hall that lead out toward Bordoor.
I believe we might be waiting for the crab to be done - a 'last supper,' if you will, before BOORDOR.
Can we teleport the crab out of the room and onto my plate?
"But, but we can't waste the food..."
"Is there anything to eat in Boordor?"
Can any of you spell chuckers make a wall or tunnel?
"My dear Alissa, I am appalled! You do NOT use that hateful term!"

My boyfriend is a spell chucker. When he gets back, he will tell you he likes it when I call him that.
"I just learned the spell Wall of Green Slime... It does have some... Structural problems, though. Maybe not."
That is an interesting idea for a spell...scribbles notes to spring on FtF group
"I think it is ok to use the term in an intimate relationship or during said relations though in other circumstances it is an insult."
Trap impresses himself with his knowledge of insults and taunting peeps, it is after all a well established kender talent......
@Jenny
"It's better than letting it over-cook! You ruins it!"
Time to open the doors, 1 at a time please.
Which doors do you speak of Alissa? You have one in front of you holding back a lake of fire. The 2 steel ones behind you are no issue what so ever.
You aren't a spell chucker? What do you do then? Are you a stealer guy? Or a Basher?"
At the mention of a basher Trap slowly turns and looks in AM Healers direction......
I do hope the water will drain out...a feast of crab before we enter Boordor would be grand, but more important still is the equipment I left behind in there....
The water will not drain out...unless a certain door is opened
A look of horror crosses Tvashtri's face, then he leans over wall beside the door, and inscribes a complicated arcane mark on the wall: A grave marker for his Traveler's Any-Tool.
"Well," he says weakly. "BOORDOR awaits us. Surely there is much treasure and other wonders there...."
"So we are not opening the door to get the crab?"
Can we get out of the way of the scalding water somehow?
We, or at least I, could levitate above it. But that would get us steam broiled, just not boiled.
You could block off the hall behind the kelpie room and let the lake drain into Boordor, of course that would mean someone would have to open the door and take the pain...Rubs Chin Now who do we know that can take alot of pain and still recover...?
I need a volunteer for a possible suicide mission.
"Do I get to eat the crab if I live?" He looks around "Cause if I get first dibs on the crab I will do it."
Sure, go ahead.
*Goes to the far side of where the water was drained.*
Why don't we say that you all bravely hide behind....something while the lake drains. Inside you find a well done crab and the blade of a sword black as night.
The crab is all yours nasty.
*Takes the black sword bland and put it in her haversack.*
"Yeah let's just take the whole sword into Boordor..."
Congratulations, You now have "Blackrazor" A weapon capable of hitting Booraun and with the completion of this part of our adventure.
Everyone gets to level up
Taking the long hallway under the mountain you get your first look at the ancient kingdom of Boordor. Tales had described the land as a barren waste, but what you see is quite different....
Wait! *rushes in to grab Traveler's Any-Tool*
The crab is NOT all Nasty's. I didn't melt all this butter for nothing. Let's get cracking!
Sure, stuff your face.
*Compares the black sword blade to the black scabbard.*
TAK, hand me the sword hilt.
Alissa: With your trained eye, you realize that the sword will fit perfectly in the scabbard.
Gentleman that he is, Tvashtri obliges.
*Examines the hilt and blade.*
Is there a locking mechanism to attach the hilt and blade, or will a forge be needed?
(Could be as simple as a pin under the leather on the hilt.)
"A little lock? Child's play! I can make you one of those, if I've got the right metals for it..." Tvashtri begins sifting through his collection of salvaged scrap and widgets.
Have I got it?
Alissa/TAK: The blade melds onto the hilt as soon as the two touch.
"Now look what you two have done!"
Trap is still lagging behind on the whole ideal of leveling...
Interesting.
*Sheaths the sword.*

With a mouthful of Lobster spitting out as he talks. "Nice sword boss. Can I borrow it a moment? I want to get into the claw meat."
I just focus on the thicker legs. Need more butter?
Aren't your teeth strong enough to crack any shell?
"I was thinking his teeth grew so fast that he had to chew through stuff or his mouth would get stuck open."
