Here we are again. The mad rush for Gen Con event reg is over, and I start thinking about Wednesday...
I'd like to run We Be Goblins Too! (See here) in an early afternoon-ish slot. I've got myself and 3 players. (will we have 6 goblins?) I don't see any official events (yet?) for Wednesday in the reg system. There's typically a VO/GM function in the evening IIRC. I'd plan to finish before then.
I've got an email in to the Indy team. This gun ain't gonna jump itself... :D
See you there!

Pretty busy here in indy plans haven't been announced yet.
There a couple things that need to be done yet. Plus in middle stages of planning Inconjunction and beggining stages of another event. I will try to contact the Scotties this week. Perhaps another week before we can work out # of tables and slot hours.

@Bob, I am doing the judge-all-slots-but-one thing at PaizoCon this year. At GenCon I am mostly just playing (currently only running the Special).
That being said I would be very willing to run that table of cools kids should it manifest.
I may be interested, but Im not sure at this point when we would be getting to town.

You were more dangerous than anything in that scenario (see Paizo con 2011live blogging hijinks)

Can someone please run #4–21: Way of the Kirin Wednesday afternoon? It looks like there's no way I'm going to be able to play this this summer before Lord Brock kills my Lantern Lodge. Maybe, he might find his heart and at least delay his death sentence until after Gen Con.

@Swiftbrook...I might be in position to help with that should no one else pick it up. I should be playing it at a local convention before then. A lot would depend on getting fully prep'ed for my seven different scenarios to GM over the ten slots of GenCon. A daunting task, but I look forward to the challenge.

New VC Chris Bonnet is working on the details. So far it is rather fluid and nothing is confirmed as of yet. We are currently leaning towards arranging venues and table quantities at each.
When Chris and I discussed PreCon events last, he was considering a single Warhorn site to consolidate the various PreCon gaming that Indiana PFS is hosting. Once the specifics are ironed out Scenarios will be added based on what the GMs that are volunteering wish to run and at which location.
To summarize, since that seems awfully wordy to me this morning:
Scheduling is in the works
Multiple Venues (probably Arsenal & Scotties(
Indiana PFS to manage Warhorn (one site to rule them all)
GMs select scenarios and location
I plan on being on site all day again this year for mustering, direction, guidance, eatin and drinking. Though I intend to drink much less than I did last year. :}
As a side note that should not need emphasizing - this is the planning stage nothing is finalized and everything is subject to change until 9am Wednesday morning before GenCon. :}
Stay tuned. . . .

How wide is the availability of the events (tentatively) planned for Wednesday?
Meaning, is this something that is planned on a more personal basis for the GMs and friends here, or whoever can join?
I ask because I will be arriving with a friend of mine on Wednesday early to mid afternoon and we'd probably be interested in playing as well (although will need to double-check with him to confirm).
But if it’s not something that open, I completely understand.

I can't speak to this year's plans, but last year, they published the Warhorn registration, and anyone who wanted to could sign up for a game and play; it was an open session for anyone who wanted to come, coordinated by the local community in Indianapolis.

Only people who know the secret code word can play.

Did I get in?

Where was the registration posted? Would it be on this forum? Or at least would information for it be on here?

I would imagine so. Here is a link to the events that Tracy organized last year, for example. Interesting to note that that thread began much like this one; I would expect that once it's settled and the Indy crowd is ready, they'll post it either in this thread or a new one in the Grand Lodge section of the forum.

I can run a game Wed @ Scotties. I'll run whatever Bob wants to play :)
Hmmm... Seems like you said something like that last year too, and weren't you supposed to run for a bunch of Venture Captains, Bob being one of them? Remind me Rene, what happened to those Venture Captains? Oh that's right, they decided to go to bed early instead of playing... Punks... ;D

The planning for Scotties, the Arsenal, and possible other locations in in the works. We are currently looking at morning slots and evening slots with a long break around dinner time for the GM and VC meetings / dinners.
There will be a warhorn site to sign up for games. Most likely combining the various venues that Indiana PFS is organizing.
When we get to that stage we will add tables based on what is available for our use and what GMs want to run. In other words we are leaving the scenario selection to our esteemed GM volunteers. Any player will have access to sign up for games on a first come first serve basis.
I will be present at Scotties all day (except for the GM meeting) to heard everyone in the proper direction and handle the scenario tracking and reporting. As the details get ironed out I'll post the specifics here and on the Warhorn event general info section.
Chris is curently waiting for conformation from the venues on the amount of table space available for Society.

** spoiler omitted **
Ha! I hadn't even noticed that the same person started both threads. I was just commenting on the fact that both started with, essentially, an offer to GM.

I'd be happy to run a table of this. I will have played it in June and GMed it in July.

I would love to play some PFS Wen. Should we be looking for the Warhorn link to be posted here?

I would also be happy to run this or Rivalry's End for those that have to get it in at the last minute.
