Based on an older discussion, it seems that wands are considered weapon-like objects, but are probably not considered weapons.
[edit]
For argument's sake, let's assume they are considered weapons. Does that mean you could cast magic weapon on a wand that casts a spell with an attack roll, and get a bonus on the attack\damage?
Personally, I'd say no you can't, because they're just magic sticks. Now, if you wanted to do the above, and then use it as an improvised weapon to jam up a troll's nose in the bathroom at Hogwarts, then I'd give you the bonus...

Is there some limitation on weight?
Dervish Dance (Combat): "You cannot use this feat if you are carrying a weapon or shield in your off hand."
That doesn't prohibit you from carrying a Water clock in your off hand, despite it weighing 200 lbs.

I don't think you can cast greater magic weapon on a wand to improve the attack and damage of a touch spell anymore than you can cast greater magic fang on the wizard's hand to improve the attack and damage of his touch spells.
Well, if you're using the weapon to make an attack with a held touch spell against normal AC, the enhancement bonus stuff would apply to the attack roll and to the weapon (not spell) damage roll.
Also, what can be used that is not a weapon or a shield?
"You cannot use this feat if you are carrying a weapon or shield in your off hand."
You can carry or use anything you like in that hand as long as it's not a weapon nor a shield.
