*We* (as in, the insignificant poor sods that happen to live outside the US) do NOT have our figures.
Sorry Midnight_Angel. No insult was intended by my comment. what I should have said was "We have our figures heading our way and Reaper has their money."
I will use more care next time. I hope you get your box of fun very soon.

My girlfriend and I have started painting my bones. I have been really inspired to get back into the miniature hobby with these in a way that I never had before. Painting and modeling, though enjoyable were always a means to an end for me. I was playing war games with them. For the most part I used prepainted minis for RPGs. But for a pathfinder game my friend ran this past weekend, my girlfriend and I painted up 5 of the 6 pcs with a few conversions to have them match the characters.
For some of the more exotic concepts (gnome alchemist, or natural weapon ranger) some simple weapon/limb swaps, or adjustements in equipement were piece of cake with the plastics. These are things I probably wouldnt have attempted with metal minis, but with my bones, not only was it easy, but the crazy deal I got means I dont feel as bad cutting up some of them for parts. Either way, the only way I could be happier is if I had had the forsight to order more with my kickstarter pledge.

Wow, still rocking the rude, irritable vibe...
Caineach wrote:Which spams the thousands of people who don't give a s$++ with a useless email containing information that they already know. How do they already know this? Are Reaper sending orders to a ton of physcics?
No, the most recent information they have is in the last update. There has been no change since then. There is no need for a "there has been no change" update, because that is what it would be.
Caineach wrote:No progress emails are a waste of everyone's time. Not my time, not Paul's time. Are we not-people when we have a different view to you?
Anyway, he wasn't asking for no-progress statements: X has been delayed until Y isn't 'no progress', it's change.
Not when "X has been delayed until Y" was stated in the last update, and all you would be saying in the new one is "Y hasn't happened yet".
Caineach wrote:They don't take 30 seconds to write, and would probably be a few hours of company time spread across multiple people. That's not inevitable, it's poor organisation. FGG find it pretty easy to put one person in charge of this stuff.
Caineach wrote:As has been pointed out, any official releases like that need to go through approval before going public. That Bryan, he's such an unreliable wild-card!
Caineach wrote:That is standard at pretty much any company of moderate size.Companies across the world who need to update subscribers about a single product usually give one person that job. My fiance does this for a company bigger than Reaper (AFAIK) and she just gets them reviewed by somoeone senior if they have legal implications.
Otherwise, not bugging senior people about this is what she is paid for. Otherwise they could just do that themselves.
Except it isn't just updating subscribers. It is a very public release statement.
Caineach wrote:Its better for the handful of people [who] are affected and care to look at one of the many places they have talked about this, including the kickstarter comments. If they are really concerned, the information is easily found. Were any sent on time? So weren't we all affected? So handful becomes 17k... big hands you've got there.
One man's easily found is another man's boring and annoying trawl through websites. Or, y'know, Reaper could have given updates in the manner that FGG and Open Design manage to do. A system which seems to please almost everyone.
Is Paul really being unreasonable?
Are people who dropped $100+ really people who 'don't give a s~++'?Or do you need to cool it and accept that Paul's reasonable observation does not deserve hectoring and caricature?
They have been updating consistently throughout the project. The people currently affected by any updates on shipping would be international backers. The last international backer update is still the latest information they have. Those international backers who want updates can easily look to the comments section, or any of the many other sources, to find confirmation that the most recent post is still the most up to date.

We took the counter off of our front page... it was killing our website. So, here is a solution for you, if you care the watch along at home.
http://ks.reapermini.com/
Where does that tell us exactly about the shipping times for international backers and if there are any delays?
So there is no official information. However, thanks I didn't actually realise that you could follow someone's comments.

Not sure if you know this, but as a KS campaigner you can set your updates to message backers only OR make it public.
IMHO, posting an answer to the comments section is just as liable/public/permanent as posting to an update - only it's very hard to find and reference for those that do not scour the internet for information as it's hidden in a sub-section which you must expand and sift through.
Having it in an update is much easier to find and logical.

No offense taken :)
Still, it seems that I have just the luck to be among the last two thousand-ish orders... no notification as of yet.

If it can brace the heat of California, then it should be fine for sure.

They've taken down the counter. Still no official updates, though the comments on Kickstarter say they posted something about it being inaccurate on their Facebook page.
Their idea of keeping their waiting customers informed is really discouraging me from doing business with them in future.

I've not had a confirmation e-mail yet. Bit freaked by the tracker coming to an end.
And annoyed that I had to trawl through the Reaper messageboard to find a link to another thing saying that Reaper had posted somewhere else that it was just a problem linked to some change to do with shipping, maybe...

GentleGiant |

Due to USPS policies, our tracker data is very out of sync. We're going to take it down now. Goodbye tracker! You were fun!
So sounds like it's some legal kerfluffle with USPS. So they're still shipping out the very last ones right around now.
It actually seems like they're able to reshuffle some people to other tasks if this is true:The Reaper Clockwork Dragon
Ed from reaper contacted me today. I was giving them some space over there while they got their Bones! out of the door (a very successful kickstarter they ran last year), but they're all good now and we're about to ship in 400+ clockwork dragons.

If you missed out on some of the Bones Kickstarter specials, please note that they're starting to arrive on preorder here (though not nearly as good a screaming deal as they were on the Kickstarter).

Feros |

I got mine today! 1 Vampire Set, plus C'thulhu, Kaladrax, Nethyrmaul, Hydra, Deep Dwellers, Jabberwock, Fire Giant Warriors, Red Dragon, and Demons.
...
Dear sweet Lord, what have I done?!?!?!

Feros |

You've missed out on some cool giants.
:D
Nah, they're already available on pre-order, and I have no idea when I would be getting to paint them anyway. I'm done for months!

![]() |

me too...but reading elsewhere, it looks as if our stuff was packed a couple of weeks ago, and then they had to relabel it due to USPS telling them something different, and the system treats it as a separate, and empty, order.
As for the other Australian orders, a friend emailed them, and the reply indicated that the orders are all packed, ready to go, and waiting on the second USPS truck. They have no date for that truck at the moment.

Yeah but Reaper have not set any records for excellence in communication so far over the Kickstarter.
I'm not one of the guys screaming bloody murder because they didn't arrive April, I'm happy to get them when I get them but overall they really could have held down a lot of the ranting and dissatisfaction they are seeing from some backers by being a bit better with their detail and frequency of communications.

I can verify that; a friend of mine got his pretty early in the run--I think he received them early April, which means they did ship in late March.
On the sort of downside, he also accidentally received a box of someone else's minis meant to go to Alabama. He contacted Reaper, they gave him shipping instructions, and he sent it off to where it was supposed to go. Reaper gave him a store coupon for his trouble, so that was cool. Hopefully the guy in Alabama got his.
In other news, when yours is about to ship, all of y'all should get an email with a list of what's in the box; I did. Check your junk mail and stuff too.

I did a complete inventory of all my 2 vampires plus like 1 of everything else, and it came in spot on!! I did hear some early grumbles of some of the larger figs having 2 left arms and now right one, but I believe they rectified this quickly and went through their inventory and made sure it did not continue.
One benefit of being last of the shipments is that they should have corrected most of the 'oops' early in the process.
I know this does not molify the angst of being last, but 'glass half full"?!

I received mine about a week and a half ago.
I didn't stress the whole communication thing. The Kickstarter updates were enough for me. They get here when they get here and they got here an MY GOD WAS IT GLORIOUS.
Waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay too many minis. WAY TOO MANY.
Even my 11 year old who helped me unpack them and set them up on our folding table turned to me after they were all out of their plastics and assorted boxes and said: "Dad, that's a lot of minis."
This is right before he took the Ebonwrath and the sci-fi Marines that I ordered for him and retreated to his room.

Mark Sweetman |

Mine are waiting for me in customs, so I'll pick them up Saturday and pay the 10% import duty (Malaysia).
Communications were perfectly fine for me - followed along the KS and didn't stress too much. Then received my email with packing details and USPS number. Looking forward to an epic unboxing with my little one on the weekend :)

yes, an email should be coming, but don't be too dismayed if the list is blank (this happened to mine). This occurs when the package has to be relabelled, the system treats it as a new, and empty, package.
I am cool with this, unless, of course, I get two empty boxes :)

Midnight_Angel |

At long last, my bones have been picked up by USPS.
A sending of

Does anyone know who USPS hand over to in the UK?
Is it Royal Mail or another post handler?
I believe it's the Royal Mail, you should get a black secure envelope in the mail - with a demand to pay customs and then when you pay it you can say exactly when it'll be delivered to you.

Just got the letter. It is ParcelForce.

I'm a bit bummed as I got all excited about the ROW shipping, didn't get a mail... and not a word since. It's been more than a week IIRC and I have no idea.
I've been darned patient so far, but this getting hopes up then silence is very demoralising. Plus in the months of delay I've missed my birthday, some holidays and now this period of holidays too. By the time they arrive now, I'll just have to put them on a shelf until next easter. Bah!
(Not exaggerating, there's a baby on the way at the end of the year, the Halloween holidays are fully booked for nursery building).
I don't understand why it's so hard to send a tweet at the end of every workday or something - especially for the RoW Vampire and above who invested plenty of money and had to wait for everyone else to get theirs first.

Bones communication has been poor. It had me wound up.
All I can suggest is that you send them an e-mail.
I got a reply in less than 24 hours.

I have got mine...two boxes full of minatures. One was the size of a decent sized microwave box, the other about half that.
We had a box opening party with the four friends that went in with me involving champagne and cheese.
Considering the size of the order we did pretty well; two missing figures, three miscasts, extra Nova troopers (apparently very common) and two right legs on Kally.
