I'm trying to figure out if that's a good or bad thing. Lol

So, dad's surgery seemed to go okay. He's really not feeling good and in a lot of pain, but otherwise doing alright. My niece Brandi that drove them was in an accident though. She was in my parent's vehicle on her way to pick up JJ's carseat from the house and was T-Boned on the driver side by a jerk in one of those electrical service whatever trucks. My niece is almost six months pregnant and right now she's at her OB clinic being monitored to make sure the baby is okay. I'll post more when I find out how she's doing.

Henry had a bunch of work done on his teeth this afternoon and his face is all numb. I gave him something for pain for when the Novocain starts to wear off but we gotta figure out what he can manage for dinner. Right now he's giving the numbness some time to wear off so he can actually eat.

There's just a lot of stuff going on, but mom and dad will be here till at least Saturday unless Dad is feeling really bad and then they might stay till next week to check in with the doctor. It just depends on how he does and how his recovery goes.

Okay, so the way mom described it, it sounded like the guy t-boned her...but I just talked to my other niece that took her to the clinic and she said what actually happened was that Brandi was in her lane like she was supposed to be, and the jacka$$ swerved into her to avoid hitting someone in front of him that was turning because the stupid Fu<k wasn't paying attention and you know he had the audacity to try and blame it on my niece? He hit her so hard that it blew out the driver side window....anyways, my sister went and took pictures of the scene and stuff and it's not going to be very hard at all to prove that he was at fault.

The doctor said that there was no sign of blood or anything in her urine and the blood tests came back okay so they think she's going to be okay but she'll be really really sore once the shock and adrenaline wear off. They're gonna keep a close eye on her for the next 24 hours or so and if there's any problems they'll get her back in right away.

OH...something else that happened today. I was talking to Ashley and she said, "I'm gonna miss you sweet girl." Weird huh? Where does anyone get off calling me "sweet"? Lol

Yeah, she made it past the four hour mark and they said that's the most crucial window. But she said if she has any cramps or anything that she'll go back immediately.

Brandi started having contractions and even though her cervix isn't open, it is thinner than it's supposed to be so they're putting her on IV and trying to stop her from having the baby since she isn't even quite six months along yet.

My other niece Tiffany just texted me a little while ago and told me that the doctors just gave Brandi something to help her feel less of everything and that she's finally passed out so we're gonna wait till the morning to go see her. Tiffany said she was gonna stay the night in the hospital with her.

In the room with Brandi. She's still having contractions, but they have her on medication to try azndc keep her from going into full on labor.

She has to be out of work for at least two weeks and if these contractions keep coming back she's probably gonna be put on bed rest, and yes, they are going after the driver that did this to her. Her dad was in thed room when I got here, and hed told me they're already consulting with a lawyer.

We will, and thanks. My parents should be heading back home tomorrow provided everything goes well and my dad doesn't feel like total crap. One of the cancerous places on his face was the malignant one, and apparently a very aggressive one because they went really deep to make sure they got it all, so he's really not feeling very good at all.
