I didn't fall asleep until well after 5 this morning....I just don't know what to do. I only slept till 11:45 though....so even falling asleep that late I didn't sleep that long.
So...wal-mart gave everyone a big fat dick for Christmas. Due to their "Customer First" policy, now everyone has to be there during their busiest times and a lot of people got their hours cut down to 20-30 hours so that Wal-Mart doesn't have to offer them insurance. Thankfully Henry is still full time, but after tomorrow he doesn't have to get up at 3 anymore because his hours are being changed to 5:30-2:30 and one day a week he has to close which means he has to work from 1pm-10pm one day a week.
Of course this screws over a whole bunch of people and will ultimately end up biting Wal-Mart right in the ass as a bunch of people can't live off of 22 1/2 hours a week so they'll probably be losing a bunch of people which will make it harder on those that have to stay.
I really don't want to work for the soulless corporation, but my options are very limited to what I can do overnight since I can't go back to nursing due to physical limitations. I can't be constantly lifting people 200 lbs+ by myself.
What's even worse is that they never held a meeting about this. A bunch of people are in the dark about these schedule changes because they never check their schedules and assume they work the same days all the time.

yeah...so even if I didn't get a night job and stayed at Helping Hand, there's no guarantee I'd get to have any more time with him since they're F'ing everything up. He said he might have to look for something else if this keeps up.
Okay....so I'm going to try to go to sleep. I'm really tired and hoping that I can just lay down and get some rest.

I'm gonna try. I already took 4 ibuprofen, so hopefully that'll help soon. I just really really need some decent sleep. We're keeping Ella out of our room, so I'm hoping that helps a little too.

Sure thing, we're heating up pizza. We're supposed to be getting some snow soon too....but I'll believe it when I see it.
Having a hard time sleeping again. Hurting and can't get comfortable.
That sucks.
I'm making herb roasted chicken with vegetables for dinner. I love cooking. Lol I didn't make as many cookies as I thought I would though. It's been too cold to really get out and do a bunch of shopping though. We've basically only been going out when we need things that are absolutely necessary.

Well...I'm not gonna be going to sleep anytime soon. Aside from all the guns going off people are just being generally loud and more obnoxious than usual. I just hope it doesn't wake up Henry, he still has to get up at like 4:30 for work now. I'll head to bed as soon as things die down a little. Hopefully they get blindingly drunk and pass out soon, or hop in their cars and drive off into the river...you know...whatever happens first.

You would think that after yelling and screaming and acting like idiots for the last couple of hours that they would eventually get tired and shut the hell up, but no....they don't.

I don't know what I did to myself, but my back is killing me.
Henry has to work till 5 tonight, so he's probably gonna be pretty tired after he gets home. At least he has tomorrow off and Alexis is fixing his schedule because he's not supposed to have any 1-10 shifts.
Well...screw that. Wal-Mart continues to be a bunch of douche bags. Now Henry has to work tomorrow as well and is just now leaving work. He says that if he works tomorrow though that he won't get a point for missing work on Saturday. It's still bull$hit and he's really going to be exhausted now, but he also says that now he'll get the next two weekends off. *sigh*
Yeah, the computer system sucks and isn't scheduling people correctly. My ASM fixed the next few weeks for me, but I have to change my availability so I don't get afternoon/evening shifts assigned to me.
Yeah...so he's back to getting up at 3 in morning again.
Back to reality for me tomorrow, so I just gotta get some sleep. No matter how my body feels about it. I guess I should have tried harder to get up earlier this morning instead of sleeping fitfully till almost noon, but what's done is done.
Rest well. Will get back to posting regularly tomorrow.

*shrugs* That's life I guess. It's okay, today I told Ashley that I would be leaving Helping Hand atg the end of the month for a night job. Shed seemed disappointed, but she understood once I explained that I couldn't be up all day with little to no sleep, and that I'd just keep getting sick.

You're welcome. I'm really glad you got it. I sent them like over a week ago, I guess maybe the Postal Service must be really backed up or something. We have another friend who was having trouble getting stuff to where it was meant to go and they actually lost some of his packages.
At Henry's store. Overnight stuff, just like cleaning and maybe some stocking. I just have to take all the meat stuff out of that area and clean it up and stuff. Nothing too difficult or that a trained chimp couldn't do.
Okay....so Henry's been feeling horrible all day. General ickiness and aches, with a side of light headedness and hot flashes. He keeps saying that he "just doesn't feel right", but I don't know what I can do for him. Today while he was at work he was trying to set down a box in the freezer and his knees just gave out and he fell in the freezer. He doesn't have a fever, in fact it's like 96.3....so I really don't know what to do.
He probably will not be going to work tomorrow.
Sounds like either a flu bug or food poisoning. either way rest is important.

Water went out in my building for a day. It was back today but it's nothing but ice water for the time being.
I know...but lots of people have been having those symptoms and their flu tests came back negative. I don't know....but there are lots of viruses going around, and yes, he definitely needs rest.
