Yes I think I suit up with costume under the clothes and maybe a bag or backpack for items that wouldn't fit like the mask or googles. He's aon a campus or at a gym most of the time so not too odd.
Is Rayborn City set in any particular state of the union or is it just somewhere in the U.S. but never specified?
I see with the Whisp gone, The Conduit will not have a friend to generate Electricity for him to control. Just making sure, so he isn't surprised when there's no power about.
@veshly: i will need to know how everyone suits up before the game but thanks for the quick response. It isn't specified :P. And i hate that wisp is gone. It seems like i had such a long list of participants not too long ago, and now its widdled down to (last i counted) 6.
What's not ready about me?
First, in regards to suiting up, its a case of the image I posted is pretty much how she looks all the time. She uses her powers to change herself into a normal human. The main sticking point is clothing though. I'd prefer to deal with it as part of her shapechange effect. She can morph her clothes along with the rest of her body. However, Leccia Ebonclaw still needs to find a place to transform since even if she looks nothing like her disguise, any fool can put two and two together if the watch her change. If there is a better power to reflect this than Imitation-Human Changeling let me know.
As for the origin, you forget that Leccia's alterego, Alissa is a private detective. Obviously, she was never formally trained and everything she knows about 'detective work' could probably translate into hunting one's prey. Since there is precedence (albeit very low) to being a licensed detective without any training, that's what I have for her. She could simply be tracking the crooks who broke into the lab because of work. Her main plan is to find them as Alissa, call for police back up, transform in her demonic state, have tons of fun beat up thugs, change back before police come and tell them a good story about a monster tearing up the street. If the cops come early, she can say she backed off so that the thugs didn't flee.
In any case, I'll post the final version of my sheet in the discussion thread later on today.
@Veshly: yeah without wisp i cant just absorb the elecrtity she gives off but i can still store some in myself.
he works as a bike messenger so he carries a messenger bag around which he stores his costume.
Also he keeps the fact of his powers secret to everyone but himself.

@demonic heart: Ok what i read from the power that will be ok, assuming she wears her costume all the time and she just looks like she has on normal clothing :P. Also please put your stats into an alias so that i can look at you stats by clicking on your name and then we will start. Some side notes on your character: abnormal physiology won't cover claws as well as the natural weaponry power will, so in regards to that if you want to use your claws to fight with i will treat as though you had that power. And since your referring your detective work to tracking, perhaps the tracking power would help your character? Just a thought :)
Okay, I've created an alias but I'm at a loss as to how to actually link my stats to it. Honestly, never bothered with that feature till now.
And in retrospect, a tracking power makes sense given what I'm going for. ;)

Finished. Just to note the replacements, I reduced my resources a bit and removed my redundant talent to cover the new power and a few ranks. If she's getting tracking, she's not going to be feeble at it. Typical I can live with and Detective should give her some bonus to it depending on the situation.

I'm picturing a guitar case like the one in Desperado with a false top, but instead of guns it's a mask and an armored bra. :D
That reminds me, how are we going to play our duo? You found me and convinced me to become a symbol, that much I worked into the end of my backstory, but everything since is vague.

Or maybe the attackers were trying to trash a film set he was working on. Industrial espionage and vandalism isn't that uncommon in the film industry. Fastest way to kill a rival film is to push it behind schedule or over budget.
Special Agnet Service idea would work for me. As for the classic Spiderman moment I thought of that, difference is my character is 25, not 15, and the scene you are referring to was all about how Peter was being a jerk and the terrible consequences of that. I see Tee as well past that stage. Think late golden age/very early DC silver age morals by a mature man. I really want to work this out, he fights but is a good guy right out of the box, not growing into it. Side money fights, even if legal, are sleazy at best. No sleaze, please. Thanks.

Lol but your a cop like person are you not? Also i would prefer you just post as "the standard" instead of making a new alias cause it makes things confusing. I didn't know who you were and had to look at your alias's to figure out

@bluestar: Sounds good to me :). If you want (since you are a reporter) i can go ahead and throw you in the game. I will just write a post about a reporter coming in asking questions. It will actually work perfectly (more so than what everyone thinks).
@breakneck: After thinking about it, i want to keep the story of you fighting if thats ok. But just make up a reason why you would have been fighting :)

It's not OK or I would not have argued in the first place. How about I was asked by U.S Marshalls to go undercover? They had video of me racing away with the Prof. that they took and suppressed. Knowing that I was "special" they monitored me and figured out my powers. With that they saw I was perfect for an ongoing investigation. The earlier scenes are me playing along as totally clueless when I know bit more but since there are other people around I do not know, I'm concealing any prior arraignment as instructed. May have been with Agent Service, may have been with someone else. Does that work for you?
@breakneck: You can have whatever reason for being their at that fight it isn't really important for the story. As long as you were there, that's good enough for me :P
Edit: don't dread on minor details that are unimportant to the campaign. I wasn't attempting to change your entire background, i just merely placed you in a place to get everyone together :)

@the standard: If it posing no problem with you :p. The necessity for alter ego while posting will soon go away. As talk will be between the other players and you will be in costume. Their will be limited talk outside of the costume. The everyday self is more for posing difficult situations that conversations :P

This following sequence won't necessarily happen in post order. Breakneck will probably be the first to respond as he is the one being immediate ly threatened.
We will go from there, i will try to keep from having initiative, i will tell you who goes first and what not when we get to that point. But i much more prefer it just be a back and forth sort of thing and me lol "judging" how things go. Just because initiative can be complicated and annoying and also it can end up badly. But you will see how it works when we get there. I will just let everyone post as if they were talking and i will respond appropriately.
I want this game (especially actions sequences) to be fast paced. So if one of you end up not posting in time... You may be left out :P. Which shouldn't be an issue... If things get too far out of hand without someone posting i will say we need to stop until we give this person a chance and i think thats fair, but at the same time keeping things going :)
Edit: my last campaign died (its still "sort of" going). And most of it was due to people being slow at posting, WHICH IS FINE, i can't stress the fact enough that i understand people have to work and have lives outside of here. But in my experience when i play pbp, when the gm pushes things along it makes a world of a difference and really helps things. BUT at the same time i want you guys to have a slugfest and REALLY dish it out and have fun and go back and forth :)

Basically damage - Armor/resistence
Damage is usually either Str. or material str of the item you are swinging... whichever is lower.
Ranged weapons have their own scores...
Given that The Standard has Shift-X fighting with his weapon, it would need to be made of something stronger than Adamantium Steel, something like Adamantium itself. It's very expensive but given that The Standard is a better fighter tha Ol'Cap himself, the government might spend the millions it would cost.

ShX FIGHTING, would mean you hit ALL the time.... but it's still the Strength that gives ya the damage :)
So basically EX or better should be sufficient as long as nobody is trying to break it on ya.

I will upload a map of the parking lot tomorrow. But basically. It's a so sorry hospital. There is a big are for the entrance that had a terrace (circular) . Bushes line the walls and there are several fire hydrants on the sidewalk next to the designated fire try k parking zone. The parking lot is rather full. There are numerous streets lights. And you can probably a few cokes machines in the designated smoking area that is away from the entrance off to the left side (facing the building) . The room is about half off to the left. About 3/4 the length of the entire building to the left is where you guys are. Goodnight all :)

Okay, given her roll, I'd say its going to be common knowledge that one nurse turned into a bluky hulk while another turned into a winged demoness. I'm just glad that I went with a nurse disguise first. Alissa isn't compromised even if Leccia is.
Edit: Actually in Retrospect, could I change my weakness to On Contact rather than on sight. Otherwise, she won't be able to do much of anything around this group. In story, I can say she did panick and run but her shapechange holds.

Regarding how long this campaign will last.... I will keep this thing going for quite a long time. I plan to just keep rolling you guys into another campaign after you finish with one. And when someone leaves, immediately re-open recruitment and except 3 for everyone 1 that drops out. So its only if EVERYONE here drops out at the same time that this game will stop. In which case i will just open a new game :P. I am REALLY enjoying this so far. I haven't had this much fun GMing before. I think its because its marvel. And just sitting here smiling when i know there is an obvious and easy way out of situations :P.
So you guys good very well level up, its all according to how long YOU stick around. The ONLY thing that will inhibit my GMing this game, is honestly ESO when it comes out. In which case i will just drop out of every OTHER campaign so that i can still continue this one :). I am having a rather larger amount of fun so far and i hope you guys are having half as much :P.
