Grapple and negative Channel

I am looking to make a character for PFS that uses grapple and then channels negative energy. I was looking Strength domain with alternative channel. Any suggestions on this would be great.

may i ask why grapple into a channel? you would be safer just using it as an aoe while using inflict spells in a grapple.

While controlling grapple, you no have option to channel as it is standard action to maintain grapple and, after you succeed check to maintain, you only have select set of actions you can do.

While you can be the victim of a grapple and channel negative energy (or cast a spell), you cannot be the controlling grappler and channel (or cast).

I might suggest the Undead Lord archetype. Get a zombie companion with a good grapple check, and use your main character to strip away your victim's life force while your zombie servant keeps him pinned and helpless.

Or you could just Quick Channel to channel as a move action.

Or at higher levels, use greater grapple to grapple as a move action. Admittedly, this requires quite a few feats (Improved Unarmed Strike, Improved Grapple, Greater Grapple), but you'd probably want them anyway if you're focusing on grappling
