Hey Guys,
I've spent a good amount of time creating portfolios in Hero Lab for all the NPC's in Part 1 of the Skull and Shackles. The intent is for using the tactical console and for quick reference through the dashboard.
Do any GM's of Skull and Shackles want a copy of them?

Plugg's damage on the tidewater cutlass is not coming up properly, so keep an eye on that
The Heavy Blades weapon training is the culprit. A cutlass is a light weapon, roughly equivalent to a rapier, and is not a "heavy blade".
I changed Plugg's weapon training to Light Blades and the damage popped up to +6.

Yeah, but if you look in the AP, his weapon training is set as heavy blades, must be a mistake

I get an error when loading the book 1 NPCs, is that just because the additional options for Skull & Shackles weren't added to HeroLab when you put those ones together? Just curious, I really appreciate you putting these together and look forward to book 2.
OMG, wish I had looked this up sooner. Found it after I was trying to add 'cutlass' to Cog's weapons and couldn't find it after purchasing the correct package from Hero Lab. Weird.
Maybe this is addressed somewhere else, but what is the benefit of hero lab? other then insuring the character is correct? It costs money so I just want to be sure its worth it.
Hero Lab just makes it easy to create valid characters, without adding to much or forgetting something. Also it calculates any modifier from class features, feats and items. It also calculates the value of the gear of each char helping you to balance the wealth.
So esp. for a GM it is easy and fast to create a lot of NPCs or to keep track of all PCs.
Also the tactical pad can be really useful for mass battles, as it not just helps you to have all stats of all NPCs at hand, but also orders the NPC by initiative count helping you to keep track of which NPC already acted this round and which round it is. I created a set with all NPCs for the mutiny. I don't know how I should handle so many NPCs on a piece of paper without missing some things.
