About Rexx
Rexx was my first character, rolled on straight 3d6, created on February 12th, 1983. He's been my online persona since my time working for TSR Online and Wizards.COMmunity (TSRO_Rexx and WizO_Rexx) in 1997. The character was pretty munchkin...still is, but that's how the game was played for a couple of years before roleplaying became the focus and not rollplaying. Rexx was the lead Administrator for the Juxta setting on the Wizards.COMmunity ISRP site from '99 through '01, technically designing the Juxta setting before it became a fan-maintained setting.
The person behind the name (Rod...that's me) has been playing D&D since '83 and running game(s) 97% of the time since '86. After Dungeon and Dragon magazines were taken from Paizo I went into a long "anti-WotC" funk which killed my desire to play D&D and RPGs in general. As my kids grew older they began to bug me about playing which sparked the roleplaying fires again. I dived into PFRPG as a means of starting "new" and a means of thumbing my nose at WotC and 4E (didn't realize this was part of the whole "Edition Wars" saga, just my personal feeling). PFRPG preserves the essence of the RPG I have played for so many years better than whatever ruleset WotC pushes on the masses. Long live Paizo!
"difonix" on YIM should track me down if anyone ever cares to real-time discuss something. Just be sure to introduce yourself with your Paizo SN!
