spell like abilities DC

how to increase the dc of a spell like ability? using ability focus feat? or spell focus?, and if i sue ability focus will i increase the dc of all spell like abilities of the monster? or i have to choose one?

Interesting question. My hunch is that you can't, though that would depend on whether a spell like ability counts as a "special attack" for the purpose of ability focus.

Spell focus wouldn't do the trick for sure.

If ability focus works, then it would only increase the DC of a single SLA of your choice.

depends on the ability most are cha based (breath weapons are usually con, and a few other exceptions may exist)

up the corresponding stat, and up the stat based dc

I just ran a Spell Focus search in the online bestiary. Not a lot of hits, but the Brass Dragon has it, and applies it to both Spells and SLAs.

So the feat is modifying the save DCs for his enchantment spells as well as his enchantment spell-like abilities? That's an interesting precedent. Are we sure that's not an error?

summoners can do it with their summon sla's

ok thx for the info, i was just thinking spell like abilities from demons, but it seems if i increase the spell focus the SLA increase too so thx

When all else fails, boost the relevant ability score that helps set the DC. Usually, that's Charisma.
