Digital spellbook

Technology

Hi,

I was just wondering if there is some sort of digital spellbook for Wizards that might help track spells memorized, known and effects. Presumable something with a sorting mechanism.
I am making something i Xcel, but to tell the truth it is alot of work, and im not a xcel champ.

Any one out there who can help??

Thanks in advance.

Not that I know of. I was about to recommend excel. Using a database such as Access would most likely make it easier. You can sort everything with a single click once you get it setup. There is also Oracle, but I have never used it.

if u have a android phone there a few free spell book apsbut the main problem is im awaiting the dang UC spell update. they work well for the other books

I put all of my spells into a PDF and then just use pencil and paper for tracking prepared spells (for classes that require spell prep) and uses. I also have one for Summon Monster and one for Conditions (because you can never have a quick enough access to Conditions to prevent arguments over what effect X condition has).

Here's the spellbook for my Waves Oracle as an example:
Oracle Spell List

Works great on my HP Touchpad

N00bbxqb, your solution doesn't seem like much more than a copy/paste product from the books with no real way of sorting. Am i missing something?

I can hardly believe that no one has done the work before me...
I fear i dont have the skill to make a complete version, but someone diffently should, if no such program is available...

Still kinda hoping for someone who knows better;)

It's a copy/paste from d20pfsrd, but I don't see what's wrong with that. It's MUCH easier and quicker than looking through the books.

If it doesn't suit you, that's fine. It works for me and other players at the table have adopted similar solutions for their spellcasters.

There's already a sortable/filterable Wizard spell list on d20pfsrd:

Here's a sortable/filterable one in Excel that I made up in like 2 minutes:

+1 to the Android Pathfinder spellbook app! It is just flawless and so easy to use. They should have it updated soon to include the new books! They also have a Pathfinder Feat app that is just as good. Both apps are free.

N00bxqb, nice work on the excel you're certainly alot better than I am at the officestuff.
The only thing it really needs is a link to the complete description somehow.

My own had the info in a commentbox that showed when selected, but that was alot of work, so maybe its possible to link to either books of d20pfsrd somehow.

Its really awesome work for the community i think.

I tried the Playbook spellbook app.
Looking good at first but then Bugs galore.

"Perram's Spellbook" isn't bad, but it's incomplete

I used SRD Spellbook ($0.99) at the gaming table. I even replace this app with one of the 4 on the bottom of my main screen.
