Looking for simple, one night adventure

Advice

Anyone know any good one night adventures?

I have some friends joining me this weekend, and they haven't played Pathfinder ever, but are interested.

So, I am looking for a one night adventure, that isn't too difficult, as my friends would all be newbies.

We Be Goblins is amazing. Short, fun, funny.

Bonus, the pdf of it is free!

Edit: Based on their level of experience and expertise, the Beginner Box may also be a great place to start. The introduction adventure is quite fun, but pretty much assumes minimal roleplaying experience.

Why not pick up the Beginner Box with all it's wonderful prefabs, tokens, maps and awesome intro adventure? or just pick up the pdf version for just $10!

I didn't know the beginner box had an adventure in it. I'll have to take a closer look.

Chris: I had thought about "We Be Goblins" and I might still use it, but I was looking more for a normal hero feel.

Grand Lodge

Check out the free intro Pathfinder Society scenarios. They are neat. I incorporated them into my new about-to-start campaign for my BB players and they will never know the difference between BB and 'Core'.

In theory if they are new you can use anything and they would not know the difference.

I like hollow's last hope quite a bit. There is just so much more story to it than the pathfinder society scenarios or even the beginner box adventure.

P.S. And if you buy 'GameMastery Module D1: Crown of the Kobold King', you can continue to level 4/5 for only $8.99 using revenge of the kobold king.
P.P.S The adventures where written for 3.5 though converting them shouldn't pose all to much problem. I even think d20pfsrd has conversions for them.

Masters of the fallen fortress is another free option.

I second the recomendation of the Begginner box for new players. But of you dont want that, I recommend the super genius games One Night Stands They are specifically designed with your purpose in mind.

I've looked at the One Night Stands, and got the impression they were for more advanced players who needed to be challenged

hmmm.. you are right, i was thinking about it from the angle of the one night part, and less about the difficulty. For a begginer group I'd hold off on them.

I'm planning to run Master of the Fallen Fortress for some new players in the next couple of weeks sometime; it looks like a pretty good "intro to roleplaying" kind of adventure. I'm moving it to someplace in northern Andoran so I can segue into Hollow's Last Hope if they want to keep playing, probably just outside Falcon's Hollow itself. Reading through MotFF, it doesn't look too tough, so I wouldn't worry about accidentally killing off new players when they weren't expecting it.

I like long walks on the beach, talking about nothing, and slaughtering goblins and kobolds

That's a good idea. I've been reading over both and trying to decide between them. But why decide if I can just run one after the other.

With college friends: Pathfinder the Drinking Game

With my spouse: Strip Pathfinder

With the famous and charismatic real-life hero Panama Mojo: Visiting dark allies until we find a small group of criminals and then teaching them Pathfinder

For what it is worth I second this suggestion. It has a good strait forward story with a nice map and a couple of Interesting NPCs for the p,ayers to interact with.

WBG is great, i played and ran it. of course if u are thinking they may want to continue their palying after it may not be the one for u or your crew
