First and foremost, congrats to all those that made it. I will be looking at their items to see where I can improve next year.
PS:I would like to know when the Critique thread will be open. I missed it by a few hours last year, and it took two weeks to get a review. That is not a complaint, but a warning that you(those of us that did not make it in) need to get in quick to get your item looked at first if you want feedback. I will also say the words may be harsh. Don't take it personally.

Just remember everyone, that the judges are only looking at 300 words, they aren't judging you as a person. Neither myself or Neil made it in the first year we entered. Getting knocked back (and learning from it) really is part of the process.
