Any chance there are still spots open to run Sky Key Solution? Happy to also be considered as an alternate if that is a thing. Short two specials to qualify for my fifth star, and didn't see this until today (or I would have signed up earlier).
[edit]Weird that my stars show up, but no nova or glyph...
I will send a message to Dennis to see if he needs more on standby.

Howdy folks! It's a bit late (literally for me, since it's currently 02:21 AM here) but in case anyone was waiting for an official go-ahead to start Early GM Sign-Ups(!!) then wait no more! Early GM Sign-Ups for PbP Gameday IX are now open! :D
Remember: This is limited to one RPG table (which can be a regular game or a seat at one of the Specials) and one ACG table and to convention GMs only. General sign-ups for the greater online public will open August 12th. Tell your friends!
*edit* Added a note about ACG games!

So as of now, we have just the GM early signup stuff, and we can only sign up for a single table.
When it opens up to everyone, what will the limit be then? Not sure if I've seen the table limitations mentioned anywhere, thus far.
There used to be a page on the signup worksheet that had the info, but not there at the moment.

Can I sign up to play in both specials?
You may only sign up for one special. We will lift this restriction on August 19th if more tables are needed.
When will you open the seats for signup?
We will open up early signup for GMs on August 05, 2020. This is a courtesy for our GMs. GMs, please limit yourself to 1 table of your choice until August 12th.
General player signup will open August 12, 2020. Please only sign up for the number of games you can handle. It’s better to enjoy one or two games than to get overwhelmed. Also, please remember other people also are excited to play, so please don't sign up for a whole lot of games right away.
So basically no limit beyond the Special stipulation once the 12th rolls around but try not to go hog-wild right off the bat :)

Do to a miraculous reprieve that countered the previous event that forced me to cancel my tables, I have re-submitted one of my tables. I opted to re-open my 1-11: Flames of Rebellion table, since it didn't have a Paizo board offering.
Just an FYI for any GMs who were looking for it. I'm not sure what the lag time is for tables to get added, so it may not show up earlier enough for GMs to sign up before general sign up. If that's the case, I apologize.

I almost missed signing up!
But I did get the form filled out for WIZARDS WANTED scenarios! A scenario where spellcasters spend time swapping spells!
I signed up for one each in PFS1 & PFS2. I know in PFS2, finding spells to copy into a spellbook is not a very big deal, but with crafting we now have FORMULAS to collect. :)
Sign up sheet!
I know I am an outlier, but it would be nice to have a 'TBD' or 'open' option on the entry sheet.
Thanks all! :)

There are AFAICT some points of...discussion, let's say...re formula trading in 2e. Until they're resolved, I wouldn't recommend doing anything like this.

When exactly do signups open? It's been the 12th for me for almost 9 hours now... ;P
Find out when Midnight at UTC time is for you. I just learned 6pm Denver/Mountain Standard is Midnight UTC. So, I only have an hour.
(I actually set my alarm a few days ago for midnight in my time zone. Now I don't need to wake up in the middle of the night to sign up!).

Alrighty! It's now Midnight (UTC) August 12th and general sign-ups are now open! \o/
You will find the event listing here --> Gameday IX Event Listing.
Scroll down, find the game(s) you seek, and click on the recruitment link!
Please remember...

Now, go forth and fill those tables! :D

Duly Noted. Thank you. In PFS2 wizards do not save any money by copying from each other as they did in PFS1, it is merely a comradely thing. I will make it clear that this is going to avoid the formula argument.

I posted this over in Flaxseed Recruitment and thought maybe I should post it here as well:
I'm running Hall of Drunken Heroes (PFS1) for Gameday IX and I've received a lot of interest thus far and I don't want to turn people away, if I can help it; I think I'll end up with enough to run both a high and low tier table. Right now, I've got four for high-tier, two, possibly three, for low tier, and 3 level 9s that could play either...
Do I need to do anything to add an extra session of the same scenario to the sign-up list? Do I need to register another session even though it's the same scenario?

The second game wouldn't automatically be part of Gameday unless it's submitted. So go ahead and submit a new session with the link to the second campaign/sign-up sheet. This way you're covered for boons and all that fun stuff.

The following rules take effect immediately and will be included in future iterations of the Guide to Organized Play for each campaign.
For tables at levels that have pregens available. GMs can now run up to two pregenerated characters to fill a table up to the four-person minimum. The GM can control these pregens themselves or designate one or more players to control the additional character(s), so long as the player agrees to do so. This should help our smaller lodges and Society home groups participate in our program and continue firing and reporting games.
In the blog there are also rules for a hardmode for level 7+ for PFS2e and SFS.

@Derek Larsen
Myself and GM Dinkerty decided to merge tables for Scenerio 2-02: Mountain of Sea and Sky. We only had two players each and instead of running multiple pregens, we figured it would be better play experience with more PCs. Plus, I get to play now too. Which is always fun.
If you or one of your team members can go ahead and remove my table from the recruitment form, I would greatly appreciate it.

Just to be clear:
Due to overwhelming interest, I have had to split my table of 1-01: Absalom Initiation three ways.
The 'extra' two games are:
Additionally, as a result of a pick-up request, I am also running:
Little Trouble In Big Absalom, for which there is still one open slot :-)
(I have, however, had to cancel my table of 2-02 due to not getting any sign-ups.)

I could really use one more player in Starfinder Society # 2-04: "Future's Fall" to make it a four-player table. This is a tier 7-11 scenario, and the recruitment link is here.

It's not a complete 'tutorial' but this was put together late last year in preparation for PlayDis Con 2020 and should at least help with questions about formatting --> Discord Formatting Tips
As far as maps go, it depends somewhat on the GM but I believe most GMs will either use a Google Slide setup, similar to PbP, or Roll20 for their maps.
Pacing and posting rates are usually on par with or a little faster than PbP.
Regarding other differences/pros/cons, you can see some discussion that took place earlier this year right before PlayDis Con started --> PbP vs. PbD
Hopefully some of that will help :)

Thanks all for making this another great Gameday PbP Convention! Two specials were ran as well as over 140+ tables and still counting. Thank you to the wonderful GM's for volunteering your time and efforts to make this a success.
The next PbP Online Convention will be Outpost IV: Feb 16 - April 27th, 2021 (10 Weeks) (PFS 2E Special #2-00 and SFS #2-00)
As of right now the game reporting and boons have all been sent out for what has been reported into the PbP VO team. We are busy working on the Vouchers now.
If you could please take the time and fill out an After Action Review for Gameday. I would love to hear from you on what goes right, what we could improve upon as I want to make these PbP Conventions the best we can make them. Please be constructive on this as I have left it anonymous, though if you wish to leave you email or Paizo Alias on one of the comments so we can follow up with more questions then please do so.
