Safari likes him, and has put him at to top of my site previews whenever I open a new tab. No matter how many other sites I hit, he's still there.

why is chris self "blue chris" and not something more memorable like "master of coin chris" or "lizard chris"?Because most of his paintings from 1901 through 1904 largely feature somber shades of blue.
