I don't think it is the 'Skyrim Curse' - although I do play when I have time, I still try to post at least once a day in HoM - but if any of the other games are in scenes that need to be resolved more or less with every player posting, the progression of scenes will lag.
The campfire activity seems to falter around the weekends (I wonder how many of the players post from work...)

^ Are you kidding? You have absolutely nothing to worry about Zyren. Youre DM style is one of the best Ive experienced. Keep it up!
Two thumbs up - I would use more, but that shows my demonic heritage and with all the religious freaks in this country, I have to keep my background hidden.

I guess, DMZ would know my opinion on the group kill anyhow; however, as I perceive the gaming in HOL as a very good one and I have fun playing with the group as well as with your gaming style, I would be very disappointed when this constellation would have come to an end. Especially, because I am really looking forward to see the next steps of my character and the group. Therefore, if you ask me: please adjust the difficulty. However, you are the DMZ...

Yeh - I cannot believe Journeys, it has gone from 25 posts per day down to only like 15-20. Ok, this is still way more than anything else most likely. Although the character interaction in this group is great - if anyone is having a tough day, just read that thread, if it does not give you a smile, nothing will.

It goes slow from time to time...
I think on HOJ we are a bit stuck in that we know the whole thing was a sham, but short of ganking off the last jurors we are at a bit of a dead end. There's a pair of nasty men that AREN'T with us that probably need a lynching... other than that we are just searching for clues of how to get out.

In the meantime Karlan would facepalm if he could. As he's in a rather nice position to be coup de graced....

On the positive, Harry is alive and kicking and has just wasted at least one Ghast (surely), and Kanyk will probably be up them for the rent as well... so Karlan can just hang cozy for a sec...!
Well I'll have plenty of time to contemplate the fickleness of the gods of chaos and remember to expound about the problems with chaos at length with our priestess. Would be nice for the paladin to get preachy for a change.

Not playing it is not an issue, I just fear that this could change their focus - which would be a sad thing (for me, not the company :)
At least in their threats concerning this, Lisa, Erik and Vic promised that this would not be the case, in fact that this was one of the reasons they chose to cofound another company, so the focus of Paizo would not change.

Good Morning Folk! Today we had our first real downfall of snow. My son and I have been sledding all morning. What a blast! This is a great start to a nice long weekend. Tomorrow afternoon we will have a big Thanksgiving dinner with family and friends. Thus, I will probably not be posting too much, but you can certainly expect my morning and evening posts.

we're not far away from DMHW, but our downfall was rain (and only a little snow, which was gone by 8 AM). Blarg. My kids aren't into rain sledding . . .

Afternoon everyone. Busy day preparing the house for Thanksgiving guests tomorrow while trying to make my way through a 600 page book in order to write a 4000 word minimum paper critique by the 5th of December (while not falling behind on the other work that is due in the meantime). Busy, busy, busy.
Also, we've had a couple of light snowfalls here so far, but nothing heavy enough to stick.

So, I've been considering starting another PbP game set in golarion after thanksgiving with the palyers being assassins and working for an undergound network simply known as the Spider's Web. They're a much more secular rival to the Red Mantises so there is the potential of antagonism there.
It'll be fairly open ended on how the group will operate. Essentially you get a job, the parameters for it, and the group carries it out. I'll probably work in some sort of reputation mechanic to give incentive for the characters to be professionals and not just hired killers. I'm jsut posting this as an interest check to see if going through the effort would be worth it.

They publich a Pathfinder MMO?
.
I have to say that this news rather makes me furrow my brows...I like my P&P RPG...
Honestly . . . Paizo has done such a great job with PF because of the way they do things (like gamers/for gamers), I'd be eager to see how they would do a computer game. Me and my P&P DM have "drunk the kool aid" as the expression goes.

I share your trepidation. I just don't want them to get spread too thin and as a typical grognard, i'm really not into computer games.

Meowzebub |

me want turkey too!
@ Voodoo: I'm not against computer games in general, I was just hoping for a new Baldur's Gate...I wouldn't try another MMO after WOW stole 6 months of my life :)
I would love, love, love a Pathfinder version of Balder's Gate. The MMO not so much.
And Happy Thanksgiving to those partaking!

Bree Longfield |

Yes, because it was the turkeys that were slaughtered and worth mentioning, not the Natives :P
Good thing us Americans are soooooo good at commercializing everything we do and so it really no longer has anything to do with those times at all, and is now simply about gluttonous behavior and football!
I'm thankful for my daughter, each and every day. I'm thankful for my friends and family, and you great guys here on paizo. :) I hope you all have a great day.
