Harry doesn't believe for a minute that diplomacy has any real place down here; frankly after they attacked the town that he kind of has a soft on for (they took him in, he got good treatment, honest work with good pay etc) he'd kill every last thing that breathes in this place without a moments hesitation - attacking the town was bad, and watching the young girl die while he held her helplessly with no one able to heal was a bit 'defining', but to now hear they may well have killed Shalelu, the one chick who knocked him back is just another step too far.
He's on a bit of a warpath over it all.
If a few people found deep in the middle of an evil cesspit get a few hurt feelings he wont sweat it he still thinks it's a small miracle they still have all their limbs.
On the other hand he understands exceptionally well that word=bond as tight as any contract, and if Karlan has made a deal then harry will honour it. As long as they leave with nothing.
A few days in the bush wargaming was 'interesting'... half glad its over for a few weeks! I can live with cold, I can live with heat, but being soaked through for three days sucks.
Yeah I know the 'Aint raining = aint training', but I invented my own phrase "If you aren't dying, you aren't trying". Nothing gets the look of horror on the new kids faces quite as quickly as that.
But yeah it was pretty horrible weather out there, heavy showers and high driving wind. Just made wading through the creek lines all that much more pleasant :p
I only earned a couple of hours downtime for medical attention, but then back out... pip pip tallyho!
Just noticed the Gargantuan Black dragon (D&D Minis) still climbs in price in the US?!
Here they are still 19€ including shipping...anyone need a cheap one?^^

So very tempting, but I think two is enough for me :D I'm anxiously awaiting to see what big dragons WizKids produces next year (besides the black) though.
Okay I am officially in the "moving back to school phase." I know I've been slow already the past week, but really really once I'm done moving on Thursday I'll be all back to normal.
I guess you bow out of HOR? No post in three days is quite a bit too much, I guess. But I can understand that, I always liked DMing more than being a player :)
At this rate I don't think I have a choice. I am stressed and exhausted, I barely have any energy. I've scarcely posted in any of my threads for the last week, nor in the games in which I play - and for that I apologise.
I don't truly feel as though I have a place in the HoRunes campaign as it is right now. I'm rather detached to the group and the story, which is more my fault for not having taken my time.

Haha, yeah that always blows. I like being soaked by monsoons while running around in soupy clay. That has to be my favorite.

That was my three days! hammering rain, horribly thick vegetation, and then having to move up through creeklines and wade rivers to get at reentrants to scale features.
Anything brown was mud, and the green was thick and overgrown.
At least the next one is mountains, not thick vegetation.
Feet weren't happy when I finally got my boots off after all that.
Hoping my there is seat open for my reclass into a medical MOS. If everything goes as planned, I'll be soon looking for microbes and not SCUDS or TBMs. Not much need to get rained on when you are running test on cells.

Nieve, I am so sorry to lose you! I really thought we were on to the start of something good! Good luck with the rest of your campaigns! I hope you stop by for a visit around the campfire now and then and let us know how you are doing!
I hope the whole Mashja encounter wasn't too boring, I know it was quite railroady :/
Not at all. That was a really cool way to work in the background information. Just wish certain rude demon elves would shut the F-up so I could enjoy the show! :)
Ghostrider is good, it's one of the few I've managed to get on DVD. I don't have a very large DVD collection... yet. My ex always acted like I was stupid anytime I purchased anything on DVD.
His theory is that they are a complete waste of money for two reasons. The first being if you've already seen it, why watch it again? The second being, if you haven't seen it, then you're paying DVD prices for a movie you may not even like.
