Thunderstorms are awesome... as long as you are under hard cover.
Nothing better than a thunderstorm in summer under a tin roof.
The smell of the hot earth in the steam as the first rains hit.
I don't have a tin roof, but the piece of crap trailer I bought and am fixing up is metal on the outside so it sounds somewhat the same.

Is it as funny as the Tosh.0 larper web redemption? that was hilarious.

Mornin'
Very clever of me to have "active" maps in three campaigns at once^^
the maps are awesome Zyren. they give a table top feel to the game. very cool.

Hahahaha. Ah... Good times.
Excellent mapping, Zyren.
Good morning everyone!

Ok, if you are still open to having another character in your Runelords campaign. I have rolledstats using 4d6, and basing it sort of off of how DMHW rolled Celestra, here are 4 sets of stats at 4d6.
I like the 3rd set, has 5 good/very good stats, and one VERY bad one.
18, 17, 15, 14, 13, 6 = 87 points -- will take some work as to where to place the 6, but could make for an interesting (super clumsy, super weak, un-wise(really bad decision making), or something similar) gotta love the 1st set, how rare is it to roll 4 1s, lol
The 4th set is also nice, not as high, but no super low roll. - 16, 16, 15, 14, 14, 13 = 88 points
1st Set:
4d6 ⇒ (1, 6, 1, 1) = 9
4d6 ⇒ (4, 6, 4, 3) = 17
4d6 ⇒ (4, 2, 6, 2) = 14
4d6 ⇒ (2, 4, 4, 4) = 14
4d6 ⇒ (1, 1, 1, 1) = 4
4d6 ⇒ (2, 2, 6, 1) = 11
2nd Set:
4d6 ⇒ (2, 4, 4, 5) = 15
4d6 ⇒ (5, 4, 6, 3) = 18
4d6 ⇒ (1, 3, 5, 3) = 12
4d6 ⇒ (4, 3, 6, 4) = 17
4d6 ⇒ (1, 4, 4, 3) = 12
4d6 ⇒ (2, 4, 3, 4) = 13
3rd Set:
4d6 ⇒ (5, 5, 3, 3) = 16
4d6 ⇒ (2, 4, 4, 6) = 16
4d6 ⇒ (6, 2, 4, 5) = 17
4d6 ⇒ (3, 1, 1, 2) = 7
4d6 ⇒ (6, 3, 6, 6) = 21
4d6 ⇒ (6, 6, 5, 3) = 20
4th Set:
4d6 ⇒ (5, 4, 3, 6) = 18
4d6 ⇒ (3, 1, 4, 6) = 14
4d6 ⇒ (6, 2, 6, 2) = 16
4d6 ⇒ (5, 5, 6, 4) = 20
4d6 ⇒ (5, 5, 6, 3) = 19
4d6 ⇒ (2, 6, 4, 4) = 16

You fool! He has his arms in a prayer stance that means he's Obfuscated! I'm reporting you to the ST!
In other news I didn't know that HoR was in need of a player so I can't honestly give an opinion one way or another...
Well perhaps I should clarify.
We've got a melee paladin "tank" which often translates to "destroyer" since despite his high AC he gets beat up alot. But god help anything he actually manages to hit.
We've got a dice blessed rogue very good at the facey stuff.
We've got our hard hitting ranger/scout.
We've got our withc/arcane caster support guy.
Honestly there's not a whole lot left to cover there.
And actually all of the melee guys hit like a truck.
Zyren Zemerys |
Heh, It'n not 4D6 it's 4D6 and drop the lowest dice from each roll :)
So your stats won't be as good as rolled above (which would be ridiculously good :)
As Tark pointed out, all classic spots are covered, so you can pretty much choose every class you want.
Mornin' everyone, have to watch the film now *grabs popcorn*

I will say us Aussies do humour very well, especially cheeky humour that pokes fun at things... yet at the same time it tends to be good natured.
Unlike my idiot neighbours who kicked off a party at 4am yesterday morning. It was over by 4.08 :p
Relaxing and listening to Slayer, and wondering where all the PBP peeps are at...

I am still bouncing between some type of a offensive Oracle and a spellcaster.

Do you care what race? While I like the Aasimar that DMHW has because it has no (-) scores and a total of +4, I was thinking that more diversity would be good. It seems that I should either go with the old standbys, Halfling or Gnome, or I could play a Changeling which has about the same bonuses as the Gnome, but will still be the same size as the rest of the party (at least I see no short people (Dwarf, Halfling, Gnome) yet. (I assume that you are not allowing a Drow Noble with all of it's bonuses, lol.)
Right now, I am thinking that the Changling would be good, and could make for an interesting background.
Zyren Zemerys |
Oh I love changelings! But varisia is a very uncommon playce for a changeling to grow up, so he would rather be a traveller I guess.
Which means you need a reason why she is in Sandpoint etc.
Did you decide which class to take? (I would strongly recommend a bard, if you like to play a bard).

Friday evening for me, and I'm sitting here feeling a bit cruddy. That head cold I had a couple of weeks ago has definitely turned into a sinus infection. I wanted to just spend the night curled up watching movies on Netflix but I guess my net connection is being sketchy because they all kept skipping :( Oh well, I've got plenty of good books to read instead.
You know what will make your day go faster? Get up and dance :P

Ha!
Good news is Saturdays are only half shifts.
I already went running training last night (on track for my 10k'er!), got up and went boxing and cardio at 6am in the cold here (still winter!) and after work I'm off for my next session for a few hours.
TOOT TOOT! PAIN TRAIN BABY!
(My legs, I can't feel my legs...!)
