Would it be cheese for me to try aid another actions to assist the pitiful monkey I'm saddled with in achieving something near competence?
Castor takes the bread, sniffs it, and drops it on a table. The rat then darts into a mouse hole. There is a great deal of squealing. The screamlike sounds echo through the walls before being cut suddenly short.
Castor emerges from the wall and climbs back onto the table. He holds his paws over the bread, something red and moist between them.
There is a soft popping sound.
Thick liquid drips from Castors paws moistening and colouring the bread.
Castor eats your gift with all appearence of pleasure.

Just waiting on petroncs to get finalized adn then we can move on. It'll be a big post by necessity as sadly ill have to reach deep inside my colon to find a reason why robahl would not replace sclivian with a cheap special effect.
OK... Petronicus has been updated and his gold spent. I put a * by the spells in his spellbook that he purchased as scrolls and then copied into the spellbook.
Tark - please let me know if anything (spells or otherwise) is out of bounds and I'll change it.
Any background info I should know about Westcrown or Cheliax in general?

Er, I thought that being insane was a requirement to be in the nobles group. Well, maybe not a requirement, but with your companions, it would certainly help.

Also yes it would be cheese. But more importantly also a tad implausible for castor to aid another on these particular perform checks. I can see where it might work in general but not on this one.
Probably an appropriate juncture to do a cross-post to all my more active PbPs about an interruption to my posting schedule that is imminent.
My wife is about 37 weeks pregnant, which basically means that the bun is fully cooked and ready to pop at any time. This means that at some point in the next 1 day to 4 weeks I will suddenly and without notice disappear completely from the interwebs. I can't say when or for how long, but it will probably knock me out for up to a week or so before my wife and I get back on our feet and I'm of somewhat sound and untired enough mind to jump back online.
So if I do vanish, please don't fret as I shall return :) I would just ask for some leeway on posting frequency for a while as we adjust to the new baby floating around.
Unfortunately if you want to be untired good luck. I have a 2 year-old and have been tired ever since. Good Luck on the delivery though. Congrats.
Heh - got a 5 and a 7 year old. I loved em when they were small, but do not miss the schedule, or is it lack there of. Once again, congrats and enjoy.

Sleep is overrated - that is why they make coffee (this coming from someone who does not drink coffee or caffeine.)
To be honest there's very few drinks around that will give me the ol' caffeine buzz anymore. Mainly vietnamese and arabic coffee - normal stuff puts me to sleep...

Acting to get the mayor to like us so we can infiltrate his house and steal plans and a key. Once that happens we try to get rid of the snight shadow beings.
Yeah simply put. At night shadow things come out and eat everything that currently isnt cowering indoors.
The group recently heard from the heroic (and somewhat rebellious group) that they are a part of that a contact from the Pathfinder Society is doing research along the lines of getting rid of them. Long story short the group has to partake of a murderplay in order to get an invitation to the mayor's house and rummage through his things.
Oh and we need to survive the play. Something that hasn't been done since the play was first written. Actually I don't think it was ever survived by the entire cast.
How many days until the play is scheduled to debut? Curious to note how many times Tal is going to screw up practices. Definitely need to get some help from Calseinica or someone else.

Always a way around stuff if we are smmmurt. And rich. Must not forget that part.
Remember, when necessary, you have a fairly sneaky wizard: +8 Stealth
I think more charisma would help this group more than stealth. Or at least better diplomacy rolls. Yeesh.
Lets see: No Bard + No Sorcerer + No Oracle + No Paladin = No Charisma. Although it definitely would not hurt.

Lol - if there is a class that is not built for Mystic Theurge, it is definitely Bard. I suppose you could go Oracle/Bard/MT and get no class benefits and poor spell casting.

To be fair I'd divorce you too.
To be fair, I haven't seen too many spots that needed Diplo/CHAskill rolls so far (which we have at least Bloodless with a +11, and a halfway ok Intimidate), except for maybe getting Perform:Act, which sadly we didn't really have a chance to purchase before needing it.
Similarly there hasn't really been a tactical need to sneak about either - and we have skills for that.

It's a good thing that I know how to impress outside of character creation. When he learns to make his own pizza dough, I know I'll be out on my ass.
For those that aren't aware - wife had our baby boy yesterday and we're in the throes of sleep cycle adaptation.
All things considered should hopefully be back in our own home as of tomorrow. Will see how the home-life settles out before committing to a specific time for wading back online.
