Male Orc Expert 5

Male Human (Chelaxian) Druid (Urban) - 4

Apologies for the lack of posting, I should be back and functional now.

I got really nervous about my play in the surprise round... but realized that no matter what, Sclivian's taking the long view of the combat. No dropping extra fighters on the field quite yet, let's start with a little confusion.

Male Human (Chelaxian) Inquisitor of Milani (Preacher archetype) 4

Caldazar just hopes that there is a long view to this combat....

Round 2 action may be run screaming ;)

You think it will take til round two?

Male Human (Chelaxian) Inquisitor of Milani (Preacher archetype) 4

Action may be run screaming; may be continue bleeding unconscious... potayto potahto :P

Although if Pollux gets summon swarm off that is going to create havoc. I hate swarms. That will definitely provide a distraction. Hopefully he gets to finish the spell before he gets taken out and needs a concentration check.

Male Orc Expert 5

So here we have a classic religious conflict here. An inquisitor of Milani thinks that a dozen children should starve rather than sacrifice one to a petty noble's entertainment. The abadarian priest however finds that a horrifying proposal, needs for the greater community and all.

And somewhere, somehow, I keep thinking that Pollux's solution would be to eat the children, and possibly the rich.

No no no. The poor are all tough and stringy. Do you have any idea how long you would have to slow-cook these kids? Golden boy however is a horse of a different color. Lean yes, but with good marbling. You gould serve him tartar and get no complaints.

I love swarms, and the bats have a 40'fly and cause bleed. They should cover our exit.

Male Human (Chelish) Cleric 4 AC: 17/10/17 HP: 30

Oddly, I hear old Ben Kenobi in my head telling me to run.

I'm thinking Caldazar may have had a slight Moral Horizon Aneurysm during his previous argument with dear Arael.... or perhaps it's Merax's effect on him.

Either way he has decided to dive from the 10m board into the deep end hasn't he?

Rat, probably

I nominate Merax for designated sane person in Nobles.

All in favor?

Tal would beg to differ on that proposal. Anyone who needs to carry that large of an axe is compensating for something.

With a super intense crazy guy in front of you at all times?

We all know I'm the epitome of sanity. Accept it.

And so the Nobles group finally entered book 2.

and I have almost died twice. Hopefully we can reduce that number this time around. Of course that is where the front line fighter type usually ends up.

VC - Sydney, Australia

Just a reminder, I will be slipping off the radar for a couple of weeks after Thursday my time.

POsting might be a bit erratic until I go as well, as there's a lot of admin to get through it seems!

Female Elf Rogue 2/Wizard(Air Elementalist) 3 (HP 33/33; AC 14(18 w/Mage Armor), FF 14, T 18)

You want Tark to DMPC you or one of us?

Third times the charm Tal! Keep trying and I know you will succeed. We have faith in you!

Don't worry Castor I will bring others with me if I do. You all have the 5000gp in diamond dust to resurrect me don't you? Maybe Arael does.

VC - Sydney, Australia

I'm pretty flexible...

Mostly he hits things, has Favoured Enemy (Evil Outsider) and favoured terrain Urban. :)

Hope I come back to an non-dead Bloodless (rather than undead!)

Female Human Housewife/1

oh man, why was the first thing to come to mind when I read your post the organ riff opening at the beginning of the "Veterinarian hospital" sketches on the original Muppet Show?

"The continuing Stooooooory of a quack..."

oh, that's right, I was thinking of some obscene love quadrangle with bloodless, asmodia, shade and that actress lady. hahaha.

m Human Ftr 9 HP:110/110 AC*:33,23,30 Saves:10/8*/9* CMB: +19 CMD: 38 Init: +3 Perc: +14 Link to the spreadsheet

Tark: Do we start a new month of expenses with the start of the book or are we assuming that it is included thus far?

Male Orc Expert 5

Erm, yes. It has been that long.

Male Orc Expert 5

Alrighty, if someone wants to play bloodless for now we can move on.

Female Human Housewife/1

Is bloodless with the trial group at the moment? I didn't think that the torturer came in till the second act...

I imagine the great white hunter trying to skulk a bit if he's allowed to.

Male Orc Expert 5

So someone skulk for him. :P

You have a sneaky character hanging out back at the point when all the "fun" has arrived.

Male Human (Chelaxian) Druid (Urban) - 4

Some questions about the play. Would you prefer we post in order (i.e. should I wait until "Dentris", "Tybain" and "Krona" have spoken before posting?)

If so, and we post in more than once in an Act, should we make a sepatate Acting roll for each?

Finally, do we get any bonus for a hugely successful dress rehearsal?

Male Orc Expert 5

Yes, no, and no.

Male Human (Chelaxian) Inquisitor of Milani (Preacher archetype) 4

Unless Mr Ruttle knocks it out of the park it would look like Tal might end up with the lead....

Any chance we could put the Gorumite in drag as well?

THERE. Posted. Finally. Sorry for the delay.

Male Human Barbarian 5

Busy at work and with a sick baby the past two days, I'll post after work tonight.

Male Human (Chelaxian) Inquisitor of Milani (Preacher archetype) 4

Looks like our six trials will be the story of a Rovagugian priest and his cross-dressing Milani worshipping lover....

Lmao! Sad isn't it?

Male Human (Chelaxian) Inquisitor of Milani (Preacher archetype) 4

Caldazar still holds a torch for that time in the sewers where you made for him a gift of a silver necklace...

Male Orc Expert 5

Don't feel bad. There were two females in the rebels group and it still ended up being a barbarian in drag.

Meraxilar made some ridiculously good rolls he really could fit into alot of different parts. We'll see how Pollux and Sclivian do.

Also the Clivian talking the bucket out of hitting him crack was great. I can already see it.

"Sir, if you may hold for a second I am legally required to inform you that any harm upon my person, lethal or otherwise, opens your person up to any number of legal ramifications as is my right under Asmodean Code 101.a.4b. Your soul may be consigned to a period of service on any one of the nine layers as per the contract as is the choice of my employers. I believe they typically choose between the classical Carrion Bird and Regenerating liver clause but just as often try the smelted gold poured down the throat torment. I advise you to cease and desist your action lest the full power of these contracts become invoked and undue harm come upon your eternal soul, and those of your firstborn children."

*brokeback mountain theme plays*

Male Human (Chelaxian) Inquisitor of Milani (Preacher archetype) 4

Tears roll down Merax's face as he turns to Caldazar speech choked with emotion "Why can't I unmake you..."

You sick people! I was just helping divide the treasure! Rovagug followers don't do shiny. Even our armor is supposed to be battered and worn looking!
Teaches me not to hang out with crazies in a sewer on a Saturday night.

Btw, a Meraxilar rendition of flashdance is out of the question.

Perfect!

Wow...just wow.

Um, Tal I don't want you associating yourself with these people anymore.

I am hoping that Pollux knocks the paladin roll right off the chart as then we would have a Rovagug Larazod with a cross dressing Milani Krona, Sclivian as the scholar, Tal as the torturer, and Pollux as a paladin. The only way it could get worse is if Sclivian and Tal switch roles.

Actually a cross dressing priest of Rovagug would be comical too, but I like him as the lead for now.

Rat, probably

Gads that fool Pollux's dice were on fire! casting this should entertain Tark.....

m Human Ftr 9 HP:110/110 AC*:33,23,30 Saves:10/8*/9* CMB: +19 CMD: 38 Init: +3 Perc: +14 Link to the spreadsheet

That is definitely going to make this interesting. Everyone has a couple of choices but for Tal. The only part he did well was the bucket test. Unless Tark let's him use his tower shield antics to just absorb all the hits, but that wouldn't really present well to an audience...hiding during the entire play.

Male Human (Chelaxian) Inquisitor of Milani (Preacher archetype) 4

Just because:

Lazarod: Tal: 8 Mer: 20 Cal: 18 Sci: 13 Pol: 20
Dentris: Tal: 13 Mer: 22 Cal: 12 Sci: 25 Pol: 28
Tybain: Tal: 15 Mer: 21 Cal: 23 Sci: 9 Pol: 20
Drovalid: Tal: 23 Mer: 20 Cal: 14 Sci: 20 Pol: 6
Krona: Tal: 3 Mer: 17 Cal: 28 Sci: 16 Pol: 4

Pollux and Merax tied for lead.
Pollux edges out Scliv at the moment for Dentris, but Scliv might still get it if Pollux gets another role.
Tybain is a difficult one - I've the highest roll, but I think I've sealed my fate with the Intimidate roll. Could go to either Merax or Pollux.
I think Tal's got Drovalid locked down as well.
Unfortunately looks like I'm a lock for being in drag... it's ok, not the first time in my life.

Well those pathfinder hardcovers don't pay for themselves.
