Tark and fellow adherents of the Great God of Chaos - just a forward notice, from 14th December to 10th January I will be going on vacation back downunder to visit relatives and whatnot.
While I will retain net access throughout the trip, it's likely that my available online time and therefore post rate will drop down. If needed at any time, please feel free to DMPC Caldazar to keep things rolling onwards.
So what are the noble's thoughts on the ambush? What spells, tactics, prep are we thinking about using?
I'm guessing an attempt at a good old close quarters jump and shishkabob. Partially depends on whether we can get to the kid and get him onside first - so as to pick the ground for the ambush.
If we can get a couple of rounds casting prep in then we should be able to hit pretty hard.

SElective Channel is awesome, but it looks like you can only protect 1 of us. If I am going to be by the child, then you would still be hitting me. That being said, if we can get the child 30' away from you then that won't be an issue. Still sounds like a great idea though. Plus it has someone near me in case they get a lucky crit to heal me. I purchased 2 scrolls of cure light wounds by the way. I will give 1 each to Meraxilar and Caldazar in case we need the extra healing.
Recap: 1) Meraxilar and Tal focal point of ambush. Tal hold them off while Meraxilar channels to kill
2)Caldazar, Sclivian, and Pollux uses range and magic to pressure those not engaged in melee and prevent anyone from fleeing.
Range works for me.
If anyone else wants in on beating down the Priest of Abadar let me know ;)
We can keep going with the Orphan quest. We can always do the Merax Docks scene after and just say it took place before the Orphan/Draven thing if Tark is ok with the retcon.

Nope - unfortunately don't get to come back to my Uni stomping grounds. Just down to Perth and Adelaide - so should be fairly dry and slowly warming up to the 40s while I'm downunder.
I like Adelaide... but yeah dry and hot. I'm dowin in Melbourne in Jan, hope thats not typical '4 seasons in one day' this time.

@ aerieth, the show was a personal thing, only other who knew about it was bloodless because she asked him to track for her.
if you followed them, though, maybe. did you know Asmodia slept with Thesing? despite appearances, she's pretty discreet about such things.

Calseinica pretty much guessed what happened jsut by the change in atmosphere between the two. She's naive but she's also chelaxian nobility there are jsut certain thigns you're bred to keep an eye on.
As to that? Considering the situation that would probably earn Aerieth a punch in the throat when no one's looking. At least with some of the women I know.
I think folk are pretty well informed where they can find Thesing next, in the regular promotion. Hence why she went in there keeping it "natural."
Course, she had to sleep with the sleeze to make it work, which I think counts as taking one for the team. Can't do stuff like that and say, "Well, he's the demons because he's not circumcised!" and then he drops trou and proves otherwise.
Actually, to date Asmodia's been doing exactly what you told us to do - promoting the show with her natural charms. Sleeping with Thesing, making out with Calsenicia, if she can get Milech to climb a bell tower and scream her name, she's pretty much sold the darn show herself. :P
