Anycase, I'm going to wait for one more person to post at least before I post. I need a bit of time to really think, especially away from work.
Hey guys I was wondering if we could pick up the pace a little. When we joined, the GM asked us to commit to posting at least once per day. We are currently averaging more like one to two posts per person per week. I feel frustrated because I keep checking and finding no new posts. Wouldn't be fun if our party actually did something? Thanks.
I'm checking as well all the time, both threads. I need a couple of people to post inbetween my posts though, so I'm not an overbearing player.
Same here. I've got really no action for virgil right now. Cept maybe make a donkey of himself or something.

I suppose Deidre was busy praying or something and missed it.
So here we are again guys. Instead of picking up the pace, it got worse this week. I was tempted just to have a one on one conversation between Dzae and Virgil to give us something to do. Instead I have been waiting for others to act.
I do appreciate Korvus being sick and Deidre waiting for a response from the GM, but nothing is happening at all. I thought if one of us was out of action the GM was to takeover to keep the flow. We haven't even had a comment on either thread by the GM in four days. Meanwhile Korvus said he was sick and Deidre made it clear Jere made it clear Deidre was waiting on an NPC 24 hours ago. Is Jlighter MIA?
So here's the deal. Although I really like the characters in this party, I am considering dropping to go join another game. I thought about joining a second, but I have a very full life including a 9 week old son. I really want to see this game take off. I believe I am not alone in that. Can we get it rolling?

I actually totally agree. If you look at my posting habits in my other PbPs, I'm a very active player on the whole. I'm on the forums every day, ready to respond to the slightest amount of engagement. I don't just post to fill space, though. Idle banter and descriptive passages are all well and good, but I'm waiting for the plot to move at this point.
I'll be honest, based on my previous experience with PbPs on this board, I am very tentative about this one working out. I'm certainly not going to be the one to drop out, though, and if jlighter has some stuff going on that's preventing him from being as active as he could, I totally understand that and will not give him any grief over it. But yeah, things do need to happen, or else the death of the game becomes inevitable.
I just got an update from Stomphoof, whom I work with. He said Jlighter has not posted in a game they are both in and he heard J has not posted in a 3rd game either. He is clearly MIA. As you said life happens and it makes sense to be patient for the moment. Hopefully he will be able to jump back in and we can get this thing moving.
Yeah, I've been waiting for the reply to explain what words mean for virgil. Its a bit hard to play a character who is both smart and dumb at the same time.
Ok, I gave Virgil the opening he needed even though normal for Dzae would have been to make fun of him for being absurdly serious. Now can someone please show curiosity, confusion or at least annoyance that this Elf keeps behaving rashly and making comments about being a gnome?! I mean, come on, he juggled daggers at a funeral and no one, not even the minister or the dead guy's daughter so much as blinked. I need someone to respond somehow so Dzae's background gets clearly explained. Without it he just seems crazy, which he is absolutely not.
Well I virgil wouldn't notice that sort of subtle behavior, obviously. He probably thinks its normal at that too.
I just emailed jlighter asking for status and timeline. His profile shows him in the S F Bay Area; so unless he was traveling he would not have been affected flood or tornado. If he responds directly to me I will let everyone know, but I think he will probably post here first. We shall see. Korvus seems to be off the grid as well. I asume he is still sick.
I will be traveling tomorrow through Monday and may have limited computer access. So if I miss a day, don't worry.

Hey guys! Since your DM Vanished, and you all originally wanted to roll with my game... I may be willing to put up a game for you all.
It would NOT be Carrion Crown however as I dont have access to it. It would either be Curse of the Crimson Throne or Second Darkness.
I am checking to see if I can get ahold of one of those, but if you would want to give it a shot let me know.

Dzae is officially out of Carion Crown. Stomp, let me know the particulars. To keep it simple I will adapt Dzae to whatever you choose to run. I hope I see the rest of you in that venue. Good day.
Oh one more thing:
You guys have 3 days from today (So THURSDAY Night) to claim your spot. If you do that you will be promised a spot for sure.
After those 3 days (IE FRIDAY) you will have to apply if you want in like everyone else, and if we have less then 5 people I will be doing an open recruitment for the spots. Hopefully I wont have to.
The recruitment will be first come first served as usual.
