Scotland, India, China - had tea in them all. It comes down to leaves, mountains and water.

Not sure what nations or regions you're talking about there, but you're right on that count. Tea's mostly water anyway.

So there are pictures of your new look going around. I'm curious, was the domino mask your idea, or was it a suggestion/advice from somebody else?

I did it first. Amiri copied me.

What gave you the idea for one? You do already have that jewel, after all.

Meri, where did you meet the other iconics?

Does Balazar (The Summoner Iconic) actually pull his weight during adventures, or is he the kind of 'companion' you have to save all the time.

Also his giant Cockatrice/Naga Eidolon thingie is a little bit ... it seems to be ... okay, it's just weird. How does Lini react to it?

Seemed like a good idea at the time. Not sure I ended up liking it though. Makes me look too much like a raccoon or a burglar. Of which I am neither. Despite some folks thinking I am.

All over the place.

I've only adventured with him once, but yeah... he pretty much rocked the dungeon. The best part was all his nicknames for people, though.

surely Valeros and Lem have told you about it

They would for someone not as bad-ass at Stealth as me, I suppose.

HA!

And what noises does his Eidolon make? I think it would be a demonic-sound "Bwu-KAAAW!", maybe.

You'll have to ask him.

What noises DOESN'T it make?

Sqrrrkel. That's about it.

I find that hillarious for some reason ... I suppose we should just be grateful that Eidolons disappear when the Summoner goes to sleep, that would be a hell of a thing to wake up next to ...

On the plus side, it would be awesome to prank a drunken iconic with Balazar's Eidolon dressed up in a wedding gown and 'smudged' makeup in bed next to them.

Preferably with a recording device of some description so you could replay the moment when they wake up over and over and over again ....

**********************************************************************

Here's a Hypothetical for you ... again.

Lini has asked you to help look after one of three baby 'animals' she has found, orphaned and wounded after a fire in the nearby wild-lands.

Your choices are:

A) Hydra Hatchling

B) Worg Pup

C) Wyvern Hatchling

What do you do?

Do it to Alain; it would be apropos and dear gods if he doesn't deserve it.

Meri, if Seelah cares so much for her helmet, why does she never wear it?

D) Attack "Lini," who is obviously a doppelganger, but try NOT to kill doppellini because I need to interrogate it to find out what it did to the REAL Lini, who would never make the mistake of calling a hydra, a worg, OR a wyvern an animal.

ulgulanoth wrote:

It's worth more to her than protection. I've asked her the same thing, and the first dozen or so times she answered in VERY unpaladin-like ways. Maybe because of the way I phrased those first dozen or so questions, I must admit. Eventually, we met somewhere in the middle, and it's not that she wants the helmet to protect her head as much as she wants it to remind her of why she's a paladin in the first place.

Frankly, I kinda think there might be a TINY little bit of guilt in there too, as if she doesn't wear the helmet because she's looking to get punished for making that other paladin go without a lid. I brought that up to her before, and the only thing I learned from that is that she packs a pretty powerful punch. And that maybe I need to phrase some questions more delicately, I guess.

Ouch. I hope she wasn't wearing her gauntlets when you asked. Or has she found some trick to combine that Lay On Hands ability and a punch to deal one that hurts like heal but does no actual damage?

This is very strange. If it wasn't for the fact Merisiel here is clearly female, I'd think this was one of my adventuring companions posting. I'm hoping that little mishap he had last time will teach him some discretion, though.

Have you seen your adventuring companion naked? Do you know for sure she's not a she?

She's stubborn and reactionary, but not that kind of woman.

She took the gauntlet off first.

Meri have you ever seen Amiri and Seelah get into a fight? And if so, who won?

ulgulanoth wrote:

It's usually a draw, and the tavern or dungeon loses.

I recommend the next time that happens, you should invest in a Pitcher of Endless Chocolate Mousse and a Portable Pit.

And some sort of clothes-removing wand.

And let us know it's happening.

*attempts to slip you a pouch of platinum pieces*

((I may or may not be drunk and attempting to deal with a shattered molar at the time of this posting. I can't feel my toes right now.))

No, but another of my acquaintances will testify to his gender. Something about watching an annoyed dwarf strip search the rogue because he was trying to hide something down his pants. Evidently dwarves are completely unfazed by the whole 'body taboo' thing.

Also, have you been disintegrated lately? My companion was occupying a small ornate box for a time. I had to make sure nobody sold him as a box of snuff by mistake.

Nope.

Meri, ever been to the darkmoon vale? or the bloodsworn vale? and if you have, what did you thought of those places?

Has your group ever had to break up a gang without casualties? Like trying to break them up through intimidation or mis-information?

Just got wondering about non-lethal ways of disabling someone after watching an episode of a show called Burn Notice and a character disabled a gang member with non-lethal shotgun ammo. More the line he said after the gang member saw him with the shotgun.
"Oh don't worry; loaded it with beanbag rounds so it won't do any permanent damage." *gang member runs and gets shot in the back with a beanbag round* "But the temporary damage, that hurts like hell. Did I forget to mention that?"

I've been to both. They're kinda... backwoodsy.

Not a fan of the raccoon mask, or the fact that I don't look all that different from normal. Would have liked to have had more daggers, for example. Or maybe a cool cloak. The longer hair is a nice touch.

More daggers? I counted around fourteen on your usual look and possibly as many as forty-three on your mythic look...

What's wrong with more daggers? NOTHING!

How many daggers do you carry on your person that are hidden? I figure a dagger loving rogue likely has some.

Who has a stronger punch, Seelah or Valeros?

Also who's the best cook out of the iconics?

How did you like Seoni's wedding dress, from Ultimate Campaign? Was it a fun party? Were you a maid of honour?

More than 1. And I won't say the number out loud, since that gives away too many secrets. Enemies are listening EVERYWHERE.

Seelah.
