God, those are so good. And good for you!

I like dipping them in a little honey mixed with cinnamon.

That is how they were served. :)

I'm still mad at you.

So good. I wish I could still have stuff like that. I have to be sparring on it and pick my battles now. Makes it much better when I do indulge, though. *happy dance for that silver lining*

There was also key lime pie.

Now that I spell it out like that, it is apparent that I fell off the wagon a bit this evening.

Do you have a Max & Erma's where you live? If so, did you ever try the banana cream pies there? HOLY S!&%! *drool*

There's some nasty stuff happening in this thread, beer-wise.

I hate beer.

Nasty stuff brewing, as it were?

Indeed. Ales are better, anyway.

It is.

Of course, another solution to the price of beer is - HOMEBREW!!!

Depending on the type of beer, I can sometimes get more than two cases for a bit higher than what I might pay for one.

IPA? Now you're talkin'!

Silver Crusade

MMM Indian Pale Ale! :D I have recently moved and found a fantastic and cheap bottlo near our new place. Two cases of Amber Ale for AUD$60.00!

What a great name for a children's book.

My near-hatred of B*dw*iser comes partially from its taste, but mostly from the horrible things it does to my digestive tract.

The chili tater tots sound extra yum. Which reminds me I need to make some more pizza dough and my first batch of bacon jam (I need to get some bourbon though).

The Exchange

chili tater tots ............ sigh

Better turn, taste-bud-wise.

And head. Bud's a nasty hangover. Natty Light is worse.

That's the thing: Bud starts working on me before I can finish the first bottle. There's no way my guts would survive long enough for me to get drunk. I've had Natural Light, but I can't stand the taste, so no drunk there either.

On the other hand, by dad and brother are regular Busch drinkers. Blech! This is not the first time I've considered that I might be adopted.

Bad news for AZ.

Yee-haw! As fer Miss Jess, I don't even understand whut she's sayin'.

Aw, she's one of them, 'damn yankees'. Don't pay her no mind.

Sigh. Finally home after getting called back into work.

Time for some MUCH needed sleep.
Right after a MUCH needed shower...

Clearly, sir, you are feverish and in need of medication and a foot massage from Sebastian.

By "foot massage" I'll assume you mean "stepping on your toes with his hooves."

As a former daycare worker I'd say that ice-cream for all the kids tend to be popular this time of year. But if you really, really want to make them happy, make sure that if your kid is the last one to leave: never be late.

Overtime pay is nice and dandy, but having to miss time with your kids/girlfriend/football team because someone else doesn't show up when they said they should...GRRR

These makes me wonder, how many Fawtlies live in the zone blessed of the gods, that is, Blue Bell Ice Cream's distribution zone? Vanilla ice cream just makes the summer more bearable.
I prefer frozen custard. yummy.;)

Hmm. I haven't made custard in a long while. What with all the eggs we're getting, I should probably make some again. I've not had much frozen custard, though.

Just so you know.

So did she love Dragonheart then?

What about Willow?
You mean the one that incites FHDM's rage?
Hey, I don't hate Willow. I love whaterface on How I Met Your Mother. I just liked Willow better when she was Yoko's bespectacled best friend in Devil Hunter Yoko. You know, the first time around.

Wow, a whole paragraph of references I didn't get. (Well, I know the basic story of Yoko Ono, if that's who you were talking about.)

My dad drinks mostly homebrew. About every month he starts up another glass barrel/vat(/bottle?).

You're gonna dis Anheuser-Busch products and then extol Corona? Heck, even Mexicans won't drink Corona! They either drink Dos Equuis if they're feeling flush, or Tecate if they are on a budget (ahh Tecate ..the Meisterbrau of Mexico =D)

Might have to splurge on a 12-pack of Bud cans this weekend to celebrate the birth of our most excellent nation! Long may her proud flag wave!
