ANd I agree 1010% my friend.
But I was thinking of a more indoor hobby for the wife and I.
This caught my eye.

Truth be told, I don't think a man, or woman, could go wrong with any of the three.

Bad B.T. !
Bad Damn Texan!
Also, yes we had a new Ruger 9mm in the house, but it's a gift to my wife from her father. Good thing, saves me the trouble of buying one for her. Now we each have our own. Probably gonna go shooting soonish with some buds to break it in some more.
I'm a HUGE fan of a shotgun for home defense for a number of reasons, but I wouldn't turn one of those away. :)

My own is a Taurus 38 revolver. Eventually, I'll get some of my own shotguns from my parent's house back in Louisiana.

The number one reason I prefer a shotgun is I live in a "mobile home", I worry about blowthrough if I ever have to fire it inside. The last thing I want is a pistol round going through one of my thin ass walls and taking out the dork across the street. But as I said, that's me. I like a .38, good power light weapon. I tend to go monster with pistols though, I like the old S&W .44 >:)

My first choice is a shotgun as well. Having immediate access to two different kinds of ammo is one of the things that interests me with the Kel Tec, but a substantial revolver with something like glazers is a good option too.

Howdy, everyone! I hope you all had a good holiday break. I did, even though I worked most of it. :)
I had the "opportunity" to watch the prequel movies, and it got me wondering if Lucas could possibly redeem himself with the (rumored) sequel movies. Wishful thinking, I know...
I have a vision....
