It too would suck, yet be considered a classic at the same time.

Scarab Sages

Sucks when Tuesday feels just like Monday. But, at least this will be a short work week.

Looking at pictures this morning of a college friend and his wife who now live in Manchester, England. His mom posted Christmas pics of them and their new baby. I'm so happy to get to see them - thanks, Facebook!

Good Morning FAWTL! I got quite a bit done this weekend, well the wife and kid were out of town. There are 12 new terrain boards in various stages of assembly. 10 are going to be winter/arctic and 2 are desert. Now to find time again to keep working on them.:)

wooooah, scary computer crash, blue screen and everything
seems to work now
I don't want to buy a new computer this year, i want to spend my money to go to Paizocon

a Friend and I built it after our own sketches, but without any experience, we learned a lot of things the hard way and adepted our plans to reality, somehow it worked :-)

FAWESOME!

An excellent table, mine has some similarities, although instead of drawers I have a recessed area for terrain. One day I will add in a projector.

are there pics?
An attempt to link to it that I can't test.
fixed link

Was that a shuffle board table once?

Very cool.

Made my first call of 2012 to Comso. Yay!

Nope built from scratch on a 4'x 8' sheet of plywood, and using 1"x 6" to frame out the insets and top ledge. The one thing that did mess me up a bit was the 3' x 7' inset area made me use 11" instead of 12" when designing the terrain boards.

Where's Lufkin, TX? It's mentioned in a book I like.

Has Texas ever had a snowstorm that you know of?

Cool. I thought it might be too wide to be an old shuffle board table.

EDIT: @ Justin

Lufkin is a little town in east Texas.

Texas has most definitely had snow and ice storms even down in Austin!

Lufkin, Texas

Thanks. The book I was reading is accurate after all.

I never get Cosmo. I always get SM. I think he recognizes the number and passes it off to her. SM is always sweet though.
