This hotel is pretty good on the social distancing thing. Signs everywhere to keep separate and only stay close to family or traveling companions, limits on people in the elevator, staff all have masks, no continental breakfast. Sucks to lose that last one a bit but better to keep safe.
Yeah I don't think their is a chain hotel in the country that has their breakfast open right now. maybe in Florida....

(2) Yeah, I don't tend to like gaming with people I don't know because my style doesn't mesh well with others. So I avoid random pick-up games. I don't ever game at cons.
(3) My younger brother's girlfriend organized a Mother's Day Zoom session with the whole family. Amazingly enough, we all got along well and crazy sister-in-law went out of her way to be overtly friendly to GothBard. It was a Good Thing. I'm going to do another one for my birthday.

So, here's my biggest peeve of the current messaging coming out about reopening the state and the country: Everything is focused on which businesses can open when.
So... GothBard wants to start doing the Wednesday and Sunday games at Shiro's again. California has a 4-phase reopening plan. In which phase can we have a social gathering of 5 people?
We know it's illegal right now (Phase 1), but not a single article nor FAQ I found on California's phases addresses social visits; it's all about business.
Because as usual, business is far more important than humanity.

The plumber that is putting in our gas lines also used to work with me at the company co-worker and I used to work for.

Its been mostly offerings of organized play, but you dont need to know anything about it if you show up with a fresh lvl1 from the core rulebook.
Sign ups are trough warhorn.I would be GMing. I wrote a scenario for organized play I could run for you guys. We'd have more leway if I only get FAWTLs signed up.
Probably roll20/discord?
