Huzzah!

And does this mean we are all planning on attending PaizoCon next year?

We should do a FAWTL event.

Edit: Thinking this over, we should create and run an adventure for the Paizo folks to play at PaizoCon. Or right after, if folks can stay an extra day.

I know I am, scheduling willing. I've never been to a con before, high time I was.

So besides the Ennies news, is there any other Paizo news coming out of Gencon?

This is funny....

This message just in from Tordek:

"One last scheduled game today. We will be near the Troll at 7:30 Saturday night if anyone wants to meet up with us."

I know some folks expressed interest in hooking up with Matt and Tordek before Gen Con was over. If folks congregate, I'd really appreciate it if someone took a picture and sent it to me.

Got to meet Rev Rosey and her husband at Gen Con tonight. Great people. One more day to meet Ashe and BluePigeon. Also, got to thank Liz Courts in person for the virtual cookies she gave me a year and a half ago.

Gen Con has been fantastic.

'Cause frogs and toads taste yucky. :p

Seriously though, they may have poison glands in their skin. Which would be a neat detail. But more likely, Thundercats probably are morally opposed to eating other sentients.

Once in a blue moon.

I just have a hankering for magic items. Or rather I want some variation for a different type or feel of items. Something not only cool but also has drawbacks to it.

Not quite sure yet.

I want to modify and completely re-haul my Lanyard of mastery, to start with and then re-work my candleskull idea.

Ugh. Want to read new pdfs, but the downloads are all messed up. Don't know if it's a goof in the download or between my computer and ipad and I am way too feverish to sort through it now. :(
If my hands would stop shaking I'd work on my drawing at least. Aaargh! I am so sick of being sick!

Sorry for the whining. I'm just super frustrated today. Clearly fifteen hours of sleep wasn't enough and I should just go take a nap.

Here is a pain-in-the-ass thought for you: Every Magic Item should be Unique. There should be no generic items and no fool proof factory.

Met Tordek and his wonderful family by the Troll last night - a sentence that only really makes sense in the context of Gen Con. Thought I should drop by and post here for once :)

Here is something I've always wanted to know: Is Rev Rosey a cleric of Robotology?

There are two different thoughts to me on this.

So to explain it properly I will use magic swords.

in case no one cares:

Magic swords generally are made slowly with utmost precision and care lest unfortunate side effects filter into the magics. These can cause simple things such as slight changes in the personalities of the users to physical changes to their appearances. The process of magic, permanent magic requires a sacrifice of some sort. Say a bird or other small animal. This is the normal way to do a magic sword or other weapon. more powerful magics require a greater sacrifice and those of ancient variety are said to have been enchanted through the sacrifice of a great dragon or other monster of myth.

Then came the time of tragedy. When the great realm fell. A time of great magics and low. A infestation of undead or creatures only able to be defended by magic. So some cleaver wizards found a way to be expedient. Quick and dirty these weapons were mass forged. They all look the same. Most were forged with the lives of rats or farm animals. What ever could be spared. All of these weapons have some sort of quirk or disadvantage to them. Few if any are very powerful and telling between them is hard even for a master smith. You never know what these weapons will do to you or cause you to become.

Plus things like themed rods of wonder. Say one that does all cold or winter magic.
