Morning J! How's little J doing?
He is a little troublemaker.:) He finally got crawling down and is quickly working on getting the walking down as well. He started rolling his arms this week, and it is really cute.
Crawling? Walking? Time really flies! I miss the baby days. :)
Yea, in about a week and a half he figured out how to sit up, stand up, crawl, and walk along objects. He is also started laughing when we tell him no.
hahahahahaha! Its hard not to laugh when they start that. I still laugh at Riley when he laughs at us, or does his mean face....

And he is on mostly solid food at this point. The kid almost ate a whole piece of lasagna recently. I think his meals are bigger then mine.

I love to sleep...but I love to do other stuff too.

We should just institute 28 hour days, and dictate the extra four hours are for sleeping. That would work.

Good morning. Or something like that. Anyways, now that I'm caught up I have to go pack Bryce's suitcase. He's going to my sister's for a few days. We'll see how this goes. In theory he's staying over there for four days, but I have contingency plans set up to get him in two days if he just can't take it. It's a good experience for him, but I'm gonna miss him. :(

Although I have to admit that having a chance to actually get the house clean is a good thing. Lately every time I got ready to clean I'd have to get him to pick up mountains of legos first and by the time he was done I no longer had time to clean.
Yeah...thats why we haven't started legos yet. At least we have the Riley will still eat them excuse.

Yes, that is a very good excuse. The pieces are so tiny...and sharp, so very, very sharp. >.<

Heh. There was a period of time during Bryce's toddler years that, while it made a good weight loss plan, was very frustrating for me. He would eat food off my plate at every meal, and more and more often that meant I didn't get to eat at all.

Ah if were our first time around, I may be offended with the suffering comment ;)

Much happier to be with her than the dating scene, gad that was horrible. Hands down I must have the worst dating story ever. Can't repeat here because of it's R rating. But I can say there was a fair amount of profanity on the dates part as she was quite drunk and I the calamities ensued as I tried to get her home from the bar/restaurant, at one point she passed out in the bathroom.

I vaguely recall something in physics about force per unit area. Adults are usually larger and heavier, therefore there is more pressure involved than when children step on lego bricks...

But basically, yes he's immune to damage from stepping on lego bricks at present...

Amazingly enough, GenCon was awesome, but not totally, mind-rippingly awesome. Had a great time playing the Goblin cleric in We Be Goblins!, the Society game wasn't over the top, but it was enjoyable, and the Shadowrun Tournament was Legend (wait for it) dary (even though we got screwed by our second GM).

The seminars didn't have any big surprise announcements, so I didn't get all fired up about stuff (although, the Rise of the Runelords Minitures pack, which should have gargantuan Rune giants is pretty sweet). I had more fun in the "off-the-record" stuff like hanging out with Keith Baker on Thursday night and just talking gaming, or the Unofficial Candlekeep Symposium on Friday night with Ed Greenwood, Eric Scott de Bie, Jaleigh Johnson, Steven Schend, Erin Novaks, Matt James, and Bruce Cordell.

So, that means I came home with money left. Money that could be put towards a trip down south for a weekend or somethin'...

How am I supposed to run a sales meeting with my girls and discuss sales being down and what they can do about it when I know that it is not their fault? I know that they are all going to say that they can't sell to four empty walls.

I could run some product knowledge with the two new girls....
