An interesting side-effect of these laws is that a lot hotels in PA have an attached restaurant so that people staying there can buy six-packs without leaving the hotel. ;)

I remember in college buying beer from a local deli I went to get sandwiches. They always had a good selection of beers there.
Ah the good ole days. I also remember we would buy cases upon cases of beer because kegs were outlawed on our campus as well as most college campuses at the time. American and American Light. 4.99 a case. Wow that stuff was not so great but great for our fraternity parties.

Pennsylvania is once again talking about doing away with its state-run liquor business. GO PA legislature!NH has state liquor stores, but you can buy beer in gas stations.
In Mass, packies are private, but you can't get beer even in grocery stores.
I hear that down south you can get it in a drive-thru and that in New Orleans they'll even crack one open for you, but I live in New England. :(
Heck they have a "Night train" isle in the piggly wiggly.
