Hermione wants an "Arwen-themed birthday".
Last night, I found an online English-Sindarin-Quenya translator and got a translation for "more than just a princess" in Tengwar script.
Then I found a beautiful woodcut-style illustration of Arwen with Rivendell and some horses in a field in the background. So I'm designing a custom shirt.

I think she'll think it's cool, but is it *too* nerdy?

Its exactly nerdy enough!

Edit: Just leave out the naked-ness

Fimbulwinter has come.

So excite.

Very amaze.

1) Limey is a Limey, so he has to be English.

2) The sex before marriage argument, once you introduced abortion, became political. I thought the rule was "no politics" and not "no politics, unless it's the side the majority of us believe in". Fritzy must be passed out from eating too many Christmas cookies.

I walk almost everywhere anyway so the next time I get gas it'll probably be back above 2.00 again.

I think I have a half tank so it's gonna be awhile.

Well, you can, but then you wouldnt be (totally) naked anymore.

You see, my former boss tried to quit smoking, but she sort of backslided she gets stressed at work. When you're stressed you just sort of pick up a Cig.

And to be honest I'm happy conforming to familial and society expectations in my situation since I have no desire personally to conduct any of those experiments at all. So for me, there is no loss.

"A woman's right to choose" isn't limited to pregnancy.

A woman has a right to choose her partners, her level of activity or inactivity (whether or not in a relationship), her mode of sexual self-expression, whether or not she has children and whether or not she chooses to be in relationship to the father of said children.

All governments, religions, and familial/societal expectations can go f*** off.

I'm sorry if any of my word salad came across as disrespectful, I simply tried to answer as straightforwardly as I could. I also know I do tend to get a case of foot-in-mouth when I try to reduce complex and difficult matters to simple terms. Framing things as personal questions and choices might not have helped either, but it was done mostly to avoid getting into too much political nitty-gritty and to avoid overt generalizations.

Vany did a much better job of putting forward the crux of what I believe in a succinct manner.

Now for something completely different.

Sounds amazing LM.

I wish I could help somehow, either by easing your financial worries or by making some stuff for your kids…but my skills at any kind of crafting is pathetic at best.
I've just barely sniffed at a bit of leatherworking, my calligraphy isn't any better…the last thing I made that I would call even passable as a gift was a couple of plain bracelets, made from braided horse tail hairs, I made as a token of affection to someone special.

She now has secondhand mirrors placed on the ground under specific windows.

So, I guess now we have vampires.

I can’t sew nor do any crafts so that’s out. Even when it comes to baking and cooking, I’m a plain cook. Nothing fancy.

Sidenote: Google search frosting, and it’s 418 calories per 100 g.

Besides cream cakes usually don’t keep very well, so I’d rather do without cream so it can keep longer.

I hope to one day enjoy anything in life as much as my dog enjoys being fed. His tail wags so hard it could probably break concrete for plain rice mixed with dry dog foot.

When he gets table scraps (yes, occasionally he does, when he's not begging, and no, don't judge me), he looks at me like a child who's been rescued from a hostage situation by Spider-Man, given a selfie with him, and had his favorite stuffed Spider-Man plushie signed by the webslinger himself.

Id forgotten there was a WoT book by that name. I thought you were reading the Dave Gross Radovan and The Count novel set in the Worldwound, which has the same title.

Yeah the cover for the one I have looks like a romance novel. Its a big don't judge a book by its cover situation.

5 pages to catch up on. whew.

I think I managed to fix my brothers fish tank filter. It was a lot of tilting up and down and priming after to get rid of air in the pump chamber. I suppose I'll get a WhatsApp report about 2h or so from now.

They're too small to eat, so it's fine. Besides he agreed that Beat Saber looked fun so he might buy us that Occulus Rift when he comes back from states...yeah I'm trying to su*k up to him.

Again on the flip side I'm probably the only cat in the house that has a chance of fixing that water tank filter. Dad can't be arsed, mom doesn't have the physical strength required to tilt it up and down god knows how many times. You do what you have to, for the family. Or get nagged to death.

Also I think those squats and leg raises Freehold got me to do have improved my core strength. Usually I wouldn't be able to keep up for the body combat cool down portion for the core work, but I managed it this time, if barely.

Now for the day I can do Billy's Tae Bo cool down portion properly.

Aye After new years I think I'm gonna rev up my work out routine. I might have to dig out that old billy DVD.

Doing the kick outwards on your hands and knees killed my butt...

Though I do it on a pillow because my knees didn't care for that much ground contact.

And doing 1 min plank after the entire workout is ><

I manage it but eh... Its tiring. Now I get to laugh at everyone in the bodycombat class when we have to plank.

I love the planks. They work so well. I always wear out my back to much with sit ups and crunches.

Also I got to say I'm impressed with your determination it sounds like you wanted to get into shape and now you are just doing all the work required to get there. Darn my lack of motivation!

Hug a family member and get yourself a proxy hug. Oh my freaking gosh.

Between the generosity of friends, my new job, my girlfriend's new job, and the move to Ohio (I do like it here), this has been the best Christmas season I can remember for years - even though we aren't really celebrating in the traditional sense.

I feel like I'm a modern Tiny Tim right now. God Bless Us, Every One!

Sadly it wasn't me. I have been both busy in RL and broke myself.

Where are you at in ohio? I have so much family up there.

Sharoth? Is there anything wrong? An angry dragon isn't good news, I don't want to be popsicled.

I weighed myself on office scale just now, I'm now 119.2 lbs.

I have no illusions that I am more athletic then the next person. What I have is a sh*t ton of determination. Whatever running/exercising I manage is done on force of will pretty much.

Talk to your HR department - it's their issue to fix.
