Only four more days of school.
Maybe I'll make them get a job this summer.
Edit: Oh, and I work tonight.
I anticipating a brisk market for above ground swimming pools and trampolines.
Lots and lots of trampolines.
Surprisingly, no trampolines and only one pool sold last night.
We'll see what happens when people realize it's supposed to be 85+ degrees the rest of the weekend.
And no, we don't assemble pools (I get asked that a lot).

But do you assemble the pools?

And fill them. And put in the chemicals. Inflate the pool toys. Load the NERF guns. Grill the burgers. etc...

You'd be surprised what people want us to assemble.
Or if they can get it in a special color.
Or impossibly vague ("I need something super specific but I don't know the name of it, it was on Amazon, can you look it up. It was round and spins")
Oh, they want a wheel. You should plenty of those. Just take one off a bike.

What about his Barbies Dreamhouse! You're going to ruin his daughter's birthday if the Barbies Dreamhouse isn't assembled!

YOU are ruining it? What about him being unable to perform a simple task?

I would have an incredibly difficult time assembling my daughter's Barbie Dreamhouse. Actually, assembly would by easy, but since I don't have a daughter it would be next to impossible to assemble one for her.

Now I want to head down to my parents' town to buy some bucket burgers and grill them up. Bucket burgers are made by the butcher at the local IGA. He takes the offcuts of beef and pork, grinds them up, mixes them with regular ground beef, and then adds about 25% (by weight) of ground bacon. So good. Also makes a pretty good meatloaf.

That does sound great! Gonna ask the butcher about that.

Far as I know, it's just something he does. But absolutely ask your butcher. If nothing else, you can but some ground beef, ground pork, and ask if they can grind up some bacon for you. Then mix it together yourself. Or, just buy some bacon and grind it yourself if you have a grinder.
My advice on cooking it, high direct heat is your best friend. It really brings out the bacon flavor. Also, thin is good. If the burgers are too thick, the center tastes a little weird (like undercooked bacon).

What is the book about, Vid?
*Grabs notebook and pen to steal ideas*
I'm curious.
Its a Superhero RPG based heavily on the pathfinder rule set. Modern setting. My goal is to have them be completely compatible. To the point where you could even use the DnD classes with the super powers without a huge increase while still making it feel super powered.
Edit: (just to make kileanna proud afterthought 39 minutes later)
Its funny that you mention the notebook steal my ideas thing I feel I am being super paranoid about that. So I'm being super selective of who I allow to see it. Even though surely that in not a common thing that happens.
Just seems sensible to me Vid, getting your ideas stole, when your really serious about getting them published is unfortunately a real thing.
So keep it close until your got all your things lined up.Kjeldorn |

Seconding this, also have had the version where the pork offcuts where replaced with game offcuts (mostly deer), it was really good too.

Fine with me. I'm not a big fan of fries anyway. Just catsup is enough. I could use some mustard or bbq sauce but it's OK anyway.
I am about to eat squids with rice. No burger but that will do too.
You could make a rice-like paddy and shove it between so bread? actually just toss the squid (Yuck!) in there too...
You know, to me flirting with a woman is like playing a cello. I don't know how to do either.
Unfortunately, this sounds far too much like me, for my liking.

That's how I read it. And it made it MUCH funnier in my mind...
